Las luces de septiembre, tercera parte de la saga "Niebla" escrito por Carlos Ruiz Zafón. Una trama impactante, engancha desde la primera frase. Sus personajes no paran de sorprender al lector, a evolucionar y a crecer. Desde siempre me ha fascinado la pluma de Zafón, por lo que disfruto al máximo de sus historias y las recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, porque te desarma completamente con la capacidad que tiene de crear historias increíbles.

Sono molto indecisa tra il 2.5 e il 3. Purtroppo l'ho trovato noioso e molto prevedibile...non come i primi due.

Ίσως μία από τις δυσκολότερες κριτικές που έχω γράψει, αποκλειστικά και μόνο γιατί δεν μπορώ να δεχτώ πως αυτό είναι το τελευταίο βιβλίο του Carlos Ruiz Zafón που διαβάζω...

Η γνώριμη πένα του αγαπημένου μου ισπανού συγγραφέα καταπιάνεται μ'αυτό που ήξερε να κάνει έξοχα, τη δημιουργία μιας κλειστοφοβικής γοτθικής ατμόσφαιρας, ένα αριστοτεχνικά υφασμένο μυστήριο, ένα εφηβικό πρωταγωνιστικό δίδυμο κι όλα αυτά με μια γραφή μουσική και ανάλαφρη. Ναι, μοιάζει με τα υπόλοιπα της τριλογίας, ως δομή αλλά είναι σα να ακούς τον αγαπημένο σου τραγουδιστή στο δέκατό του δίσκο: δε σε μαγεύει με τις καινοτομίες του αλλά σε κερδίζει με την τέχνη του. Κι ίσως αυτό να είναι αρκετό.

Zafón lo hace de nuevo y nunca se puede tener suficiente con un narrador tan lleno de recursos y de maestría para contar la misma historia de mil diferentes maneras.

La fórmula Zafoniana: Sombras, niebla, personajes siniestros que se valen de juguetes para atormentar a sus protagonistas mientras dos adolescentes se enamoran perdidamente y luego se separan...qué decir de una embriagante atmósfera cerca del mar y la nostalgia que evoca la pérdida de la juventud...simplemente genial y envolvente.

Extraordinar cum scrie Zafon, misterul din fiecare carte ma tine atenta cap coada cand citesc povestile lui. Simone, se muta cu cei doi copii la cel care o angajeaza. Dar misterul bogatei familii te tine in priza. Iar povestea de dragoste dintre Irene si pescarul romantic este frumoasa.

This is the third book by this author that I have read and I should have stopped after the first. I feel like I just read a bunch of stuff and have no idea what happened. I think perhaps something has been lost in translation? Shadows and doppelgangers and toymakers and this child's history and that one's and masks and machines. Lots of broken glass and explosions at the end, and I could clearly envision a movie scene with the automatons burning, but other than that I'm not sure what happened. I'm not sure why Ismael and Irene fell in love except that they were fourteen (though in one spot I thought it said 15 and in another I could have sworn I read she was almost 16). I'm not sure what point the whole cave scene had, or why Dorian was there. It just seemed very disjointed and did not flow from one scene to another, or create any kind of tension. The only creepiness to be had was what I imagined myself when thinking of all the different automatons there could have been. The Prince of Mist was the best of his three that I have read and I don't know that I will be interested in reading any future books by this author.

Terceiro livro da trilogia "Niebla"

Reedição da última entrega da série para jovens-adultos, elaborada um ano após o "Palácio da Meia-Noite" (1994), pela "pena" de Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

Toda a escrita segue a linha do anterior volume, bem mais "zafoniana" que a presente em "O Príncipe da Neblina" (1993). Sente-se claramente a evolução do autor, cada vez mais ligado ao sobrenatural, às sombras e ao gótico.

É interessante que as personagens habitem num cenário semelhante ao do primeiro volume conjugado com os elementos acima referidos (tipicamente do segundo livro). Desconheço se esta curiosidade é propositada ou não, pois não existem grandes pontos de contacto entre as três obras integrantes da saga, para além da marcada "tonalidade jovem-adulto".

Este "Luzes de Setembro" (1995) é em tudo uma continuação da arte do autor. Não uma sequela narrativa, per si, mas sim um refinar da sua escrita. A grande diferença comparativamente ao anterior talvez seja a introdução frequente de uma componente cinematográfica de acção. Quiçá demasiada.

Toda a saga ganha importância e interesses redobrados se a encararmos como "objecto de estudo" do autor, como base daquilo em que viria a tornar-se, não tanto como uma trilogia que demonstre as exactas valências reais e contemporâneas de Carlos Ruiz Zafón.

Tras el chasco que me llevé con la segunda parte de la trilogía, he vuelto a sentir esa incertidumbre y ese misterio que me atrajo de la primera parte.
Eso miedo infantil que sentí leyendo “El Principe de la Niebla” lo he vuelto a sentir reflejado con esta historia.
Sin duda, la que más me ha gustado de las 3, ya que aunque se asemeja a la primera parte, la veo más madura, más intensa, más oscura.
Una casa envuelta en un misterio, muertes, juguetes, y una niebla, que siempre estará presente, vayas donde vayas.

Dejando esta trilogía a un lado, tan solo me queda decir que estoy deseando leer “Marina” y la tetralogía de “El Cementerio de los Libros Olvidados” para rematar mi experiencia con Carlos y poder impregnarme de su escritura, ya que desde hace un año prácticamente no podamos disfrutarla nunca más

Ово је било стварно магично. Након прочитане ,,Сенке ветра", желела сам да пробам да прочитам и друге његове књиге које су у сенци ове. Ову сам случајно угледала у библиотеци и узела је не читајући синопис. Вредело је.
Нисам наишла ни на шта што ми је сметало у Сенци ветра, а немам ни никакве друге посебне замерке, осим временских оквира( деловало ми је да у неким тренуцима радња иде пребрзо, а у другим преспоро)
Сафон пише магично. Нисам ни приметила како странице одмичу. Негде до петине књиге бисте можда могли помислити да ће ово бити нека слатка причица. На половини долазите до сазнања да се ивичи са границама хорора. Свега је било присутно у довољној мери и направљен је јако леп спој.
Истраживала сам и појам doppelgangera, на коме се и заснива књига и утврдила да тај термин заиста постоји у литератури, али не на начин на који га је Сафон представио. Он је узео појам, али га је изменио (скоро) у потпуности. У стварности овај појам представља имање двојника("најчешће злог"), са истим ликом, али супротним карактером. Најтипичнији пример који можемо срести у књижевности су свакако доктор Џекил и господин Хајд. Сафон је то представио као одвајање сенке од човека (она га затим прати и представља злу страну, док га на крају не убије). Дакле, стварна идеја, али доста измењена. Свакако, било је интересантно читати о томе.

Могла бих још много да пишем и причам о овој књизи, али зауставићу се овде да не бих нешто спојловала, а и из страха да ако наставим-никад нећу завршити.
Остаје ми да вам кажем да читате Сафона. Нећу рећи да морате, јер не мора свима да се допадне оно што се допало и мени.
Када боље размислим, можда је било боље да кренем од ове књиге или од неке друге, мање популарне. Осећај је лепши.

Before Carlos Ruiz Zafón wrote The Shadow of the Wind and the other novels in The Library of Forgotten Books series, he wrote several books for children.  The Watcher in the Shadows is one of these, and it is definitely written for a younger readership.  The story is pretty straightforward and the language simple and direct - not at all like his adult books.  This is a creepy mystery novel of Faustian bargains set in a charming little French coastal village.  Several of the characters have pieces of the puzzle and everything eventually comes together.  Not everything is as it seems at the toy-makers mansion.  Zafón manages to convey the subtle creeping wrongness as it increasingly pervades the story.  I did however, think his characters were a tad weakly written.  This is a lovely and enjoyable gothic, semi-romance/horror novel written for a younger audience.
