Another good story in the series. This one had a little who-dunnit twist to it. Good read!

Good. I preferred hostile witness more, more in depth characters to relate to. I felt this one was good, but less interpersonal relationships between hannah and archer. I would have preferred more.

I really enjoyed the book, but I knocked one star, once again, because all of the grammatical errors that just threw me off and didn’t let me read in peace. How come the first book was so well written and the second and third seem not to have been proofread.

This book kept me guessing until the end. It was exciting and I could hardly put it down until the end.

Foerster is an amazing author. Great description of characters and their surroundings. Can't wait to read another one of the Josie Bates series.

This third book in the series is as engaging as the first two. Forster has kept the quality of her storytelling high, which isn’t always the case with series books.

This novel has plenty of twists in it but I figured out the main one early on.

I still wish Forster would give Archer a first name and tell us how he and Josie became lovers.

Several places in this book, a POV or location shift occurred but there was no break in the text to indicate it happening. I don’t know if they were download or formatting errors, but they threw me every time I ran into one.

An aside here: While the ASIN number for this Kindle edition matches the one I purchased, the cover art does not.

I’ll be back for more of Josie’s adventures.

I'm pretty much liking this Josie Baylor Bates character. On to book 4.

My favourite instalment of Josie Taylor-Bates so far. I am slightly biased because I love Hermosa Beach and its surrounding areas, it's a special place to my wife and me.

I love how Rebecca Forster creates characters and describes each scenario in a believable way, better than any other author I think I've read.

This is like all the others in the saga but with extra twists and turns. I wouldn't say it was an edge of your seat thriller, it's classier than that. I'd liken it more to John Grisham's style but with an air of south California beach climate. I am saving the next one for my tenth anniversary trip to California in August where I can read them in situ!
