As Ichigo travels through soul society he encounters Renji again and a few new characters. Also you get a little backstory between Renji and Rukia.

This is one of the most exciting volumes yet. Kubo keeps you on the edge of your seat with all the exciting action and battle-scenes mixed with just the right amount of character development and information. Enemies turn to allies in order to save Rukia from this unjust fate, and I expect the next volume will be filled with even more surprises.

Renji is a whole vibe.

I like when Ichigo defeat Ikkaku.

After taking a break from Bleach, I was unsure about diving back into the series with Volume 11. I worried that I might not enjoy it as much as I had the earlier volumes, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that my fears were unnecessary. The story picked up with an intense burst of action right from the start, which was a bit overwhelming for me. While this initial rush of battles slowed things down for me a little—I needed some time to reconnect with the characters—it’s more a reflection of my reading experience than any flaw in the volume itself.

One of the highlights of this series for me is the background information we get on the characters and this volume included a lot of that too. This deeper insight into the story's lore and characters pulled me right back into the story after the initial burst of action. It served as a powerful reminder of why I love Bleach in the first place. The series has an incredible cast of characters, each with their own unique strengths and flaws, making every action scene feel loaded with stakes that go beyond just the physical fights.

This volume reaffirmed what I’ve always enjoyed about Bleach—the perfect blend of intense battles, compelling character development, and intricate storytelling. The characters, especially, are what keep me coming back; their growth and relationships add layers of meaning to the conflicts they face. As I reached the end of Volume 11, I was left eager to continue the journey with these characters and see where the story will lead next.

This is another great volume of this series. This book has some about the backstories of Rukia and Renji plus what's currently happening in the soul society.

Renji really is so sweet

A little rinse and repeat’s not unhealthy. I’m hoping we aren’t just going to see people slice and dice until they’re near death only to find RESOLVE and whip out victory from the jaws of defeat. Still, that was a satisfying rivalry rematch ;3

I'll be honest I liked the fight with the bald guy more.

CAPTAIN UNOHANA PLS STEP ON ME

Ichigo defeated the 3rd seat in the 11th company and he ask where is he able to find Rukiya ( she is the person that gave Ichigo her powers to save his family). Ichigo goes on to find Ganju the guy that landed with him. They ran into each other on the run and they both had large groups of companies members and they thought the guy from squad 4 was with them, but they tried to use his as a hostage and because he is a squad 4 member they wanted Ichigo and Ganju to kill him but that did not work so they ran for it. Ichigo is now going to start fighting Renjie and Ganju and the guy from squad 4 are affected by the spirite presure and Ichigo is not and begins to fight him.
