Arc 2: Soul Society: The Sneak Entry

Ganjyu managed to defeat Yumichika. Ishida and Inoue confronted Jirōbō Ikkanzaka from 7th Division. Ishida easily defeated him. Ichigo and Ganjyu were chased by Shinigamis from 11th Division, but Chad coming to beat them all. Ichigo and Ganjyu run away with a Shinigami, Hanatarou Hamada. Hamada help Ichigo and Ganjyu to reach Senzaikyou, the White Tower by using the sewer. There, Renji already waited for Ichigo. They then fight and Renji was defeated.

The fight between Ichigo and Renji was good, I freaking love Renji's sword. Still enjoying the fast-pace of these battles and the new allies that Ichigo makes along the way. (And I really can't wait to see the BIG fight.)

This series is pure electric. We get Ichigo and the gang infiltrating the Soul Society and also the BEST fight with Ichigo vs. Renji. I am in love with this arc so far!!

This is just getting better and better. The story is moving forwards in a great pace, the action is there and even the secondary characters are getting some time to shine. The series have been on a roll for the past few volumes.

For Ichigo losing is not an option and it’s always good to see allies gained through battle. I love a good backstory and Renji is awesome.

I liked the fight scenes in this one too! Also liked seeing into Rukia’s past. On to the next volume!

This volume did the most for Renji's character. Not much to say about this volume, but it is amazing a first time around.
