"Through six centuries, I have wandered from the Paris of the Revolution to the shores of Loch Ness to Haight-Ashbury in the 'Summer of Love,' I have come more and more to take on my identity of...the Wyrm." Here begins Justin Sterling's centuries-spanning story, as told by bestselling author Margaret Weis and her chosen band of dark fantasists, in the world's first major illustrated novel. A different storyteller escorts us through each mysterious era of Justin's six centuries of service, beginning near the present - in the crime haunted environs of modern Chicago, where he is known to the police as a "cult expert," and to the world at large as the artist/creator of the underground comic, The Wyrm.
