Finally reading fiction again, and couldn't think of a better place to start than the Dragonlance saga!
What surprised me about this book is how easily I was able to pick up where I left off over 5 years ago when I read the last book in the series before this one. Weis does a great job of making sure the reader doesn't get lost in all the epic storylines of the past, giving you just enough flashbacks and background to keep you on point without turning into a "Previously on Dragonlance" soap opera recap.
It does feel a bit like the same old Mina story (finds a God and throws herself completely into their power) but it's different enough to keep me going, and any fan of the previous anthology of Mina will certainly enjoy her journey through this one.
