I enjoyed this as a more doctrinal look at Joseph Smith. I can't say that everything I want to know has been laid out, but I think there are great treasures of truth and history in this book. I really felt uplifted by reading it and am grateful for Truman G. Madden's study and testimony of the prophet and how it has strengthened mine.
This is another great set of lectures about the life and views of Joseph the Prophet. I highly recommend them. They are organized by topic and are very well put together and edifying.
So good!!!! It is really an in depth book about who Joseph Smith was. It was so interesting to hear about all the nuances that made him who he was. I really gained an even greater appreciation for him....if that's possible.
