Another book I use with my Essential Oils. It is similar to the books Heal Your Body and Permanent Healing...this one includes the emotional causes also plus a script.

Unless you are ready for a deep dive and self reflection this book wouldn’t be for you. I started this to help me under others around me with complex pasts and abuse from childhood. In doing so I learned more about myself and will re-read this book more than once. Great opportunity for growth and understanding others better.

This is one of those books I have purchased for others over the years. I use it for reference and had to pull it out of the shelves when a family member was having stomach problems. There is a section with Feelings and how to shift the negative to the positive and then there is a section with illnesses and what feelings you need to work through. There is a script that helps you work through the feelings.

Anyone who wants to get rid of negative feelings will find this useful.

Very eye-opening. There are a lot of things that you can pull and put into use in your life. I dont think ALL of it is for EVERYBODY. But much of it makes sense in the spiritual-physical connections.

I loved learning about the signs of emotional problems, and learning how to fix them.

I didn't finish it. It's a work in progress read. Although super helpful, I found the information presented in the book to be boring.

Settle the score with trauma once and for all. If not you will encounter the residual effects long after.

It is the most helpful self-help book I have read in years! It is written in clear language that anyone can understand. It is clear and concise in how it treats the topic of emotions and feelings. Superb! Everyone should read this book. Thank you Karol K. Truman!

I'm still trying to figure out if I believe everything in the book. I do believe our emotions impact us on a physical level. But I'm just not sure I believe that emotions are at the root cause of EVERY disease and physical problem. We live in a toxic world with so many external stressors. Although someone from the view point of the book would argue that certain people emotionally open themselves up to these external causes.
Anyway, just don't know if I believe or agree with everything.

I refer back to this book on a very regular basis. Truman point or purpose in this book is that every diss-ease has been created by a blocked or out of alignment emotion. Emotion is much like ego or addictive thinking. When the blockage is delt with and released the disease or pain in the body leaves. She breaks down several diseases and simple aches and pains and write the possible blockages. That is why I refer to the book so often is for friends and family to tell them the possible emotional blockages behind what they are going through.

I thought this book was life altering- learning how emotions wreak havoc on our bodies and minds was so intriguing to me. Not only are there spiritual ties into this but she also brings in scientific research. I truly think everyone could benefit from reading this and having this information on hand. It gives a list of probable emotions causing certain symptoms like PMS, headaches, anxiety, acne, etc.

To be honest, I didn't get very far. First of all, to treat childbirth as inherently traumatic is inaccurate, at best. I had to stop reading in chapter 4, where the author insists that we must accept everyone and everything as perfect, and that feelings are THE root of all illness. Yes, emotion is closely tied to our health -- that has been shown over and over. However, stating that all illness is always rooted in emotion is like saying that if you have enough faith, you'll never get sick. Essentially-- it's always your own fault if you fall ill.

This book is not for me, and I believe that, while some may glean some good help from it, it's fundamentally unsound.
