I'll be nice and just say this was a boooooring book, it took way too long to get to the solving of the crime, it was very uninteresting but once I started it I felt like I had to finish it. I shant read any more from this author, sorry!

I adore Catherine Coulter as an author but this book didn't wow me like she normally does. I enjoyed the book especially after about a fourth into the book but it is not a book that I will go back to again and again to read favorite parts of it.

Sunday Cavendish is the bitch-queen of the soaps, the actress her fans love to hate. She takes it in stride, enjoying the adulation and dealing with the occasional viewer that forgets that it is all a fantasy. That is until suddenly, all the attention takes a sinister turn.

This was a fun read, reminiscent of Janet Evanovich's lively Stephanie Plum series. The characters are sassy, the men are hot and the story just rocks along, keeping the reader engaged and interested.

OK - I truly loved reading this book... I loved the suspense of romance - you don't know who she'll fall for until you read half the book - very good!! The only reason why it didn't get 5 stars was the last chapter... But I loved the 3 women in this book - would love more stories about them!!!!

A delightful, entertaining novel.

I was worried this novel might have too much contemporary romance/sex in it for my liking. Fortunately it didn't a d I found Catherine Coulter's writing quite charming. The action was good, the suspense was good and I loved the characters who were well developed. Not my favorite Coulter novel, but definitely worth reading.

This book was okay. It took me a bit longer to read this book, but it was an easy read.

I am not that big of a soap fan, but it was interesting to read the little facts that were in the book about the different soaps and the actors and actresses who were in them.

I really like this author and how well she portrays character development, and draws you into the plot, but I didn't love this book so much. She was going for comedy, which it was funny, but the suspense and plot twists were only so-so.

Good story line, I like that she doesn't use profanity in her writing. She could use a lot less sexual content for my taste as well though, it isn't necessary to give so much detail. We have imaginations! As far as the mystery side of it, I think she is pretty good but it dragged a little while revealing the who done it! I will read more of her books since I am giving up Janet Evanovich due to her foul language use!

Mary Lisa Beverly is a soap star who is in trouble. Someone is stalking her but she doesn't know who. She's also starting to fall in love with the police chief of her home town, a man who thinks she is just like his ex-wife.
Frothy fun. Light read that doesn't mean much.

Honestly wasn't able to finish this. I read it until around chapter 2. It has taken me a long time to even get to a new page because every time I start to read, I fall asleep. Now, if that happens often surely I get the message. It didn't hold my attention, thus for me, it's not worth reading. I was kind of disappointed because I like the other books... Or maybe mostly because this is a different genre compared to the one that I'm used to reading from the author?... Oh well, off to the next one.

I wonder what it is like to be mixed up with a character an actress is playing. I know there are some actors I loath because of their characters on a TV show or movie. In Born to be Wild, we see a bit of this in Sunday. This book was a fast read for me and not too memorable. Still it is a Ms. Coulter book and I do enjoy her books.

A light, fun read about a soap opera star that someone is trying to kill. Is it a deranged fan? a paparazzi stalker? a jilted lover? She returns to her home in Oregon to get out of the line of fire and recuperate from her injuries, and to spend time with her hypercritical mother, the Politician younger sister who slept with and later married her former fiancee, the boy crazy baby sister. The soap star meets 2 men, in Oregon, each of whom her youngest sister has dated or wants to date, but the sexual tension is there with both of them. Both of whom later shows up back in Malibu to help with the attempts on her life. Both of them get called back to a murder in Oregon that impacts the soap star's family.
