O ciclope de Eurípides é o único drama satírico grego completo que sobreviveu aos anos, por isso seu valor é imensurável. Eurípedes faz uma sátira do canto IX da odisseia em que odisseu e seus amigos se encontram prisioneiro do terrível monstro e gigante ciclope chamado Polifemo. Nesta versão satírica de Eurípides Odisseu e seus companheiros estão, de volta de Ílion, onde, fugindo dos inimigos, acabaram chegando na Sicília, onde residia Polifemo. Descobriu que lá os Sátiros eram escravos do monstro Ciclope. Lá também encontram o escravo SILENO que em uma ausência momentânea de Ciclope tenta trocar vinho trazido por Odisseu, com cordeiros e leite. Contudo na hora da troca aparece o ciclope Polifemo! Pergunta a causa do translado dos bens e Sileno diz que o forasteiro(Odisseu) se apoderava por roubo. Çeviri ve notlarıyla her detaya önem verilmesi gerçekten beni derinden etkiledi. Sayfa sayısının azlığına rağmen üzerinde ne büyük emek olduğunu okuyucu çok net anlayabilir. Çeviriden yana çok memnun olsam da oyun beni çok da etkilemedi.

جدا از خود نمایشنامه، به شدت از خوندن مقالات انتهای کتاب لذت بردم. این سری کتاب‌های نمایشنامه‌ رو خیلی از این انتشارات دوست دارم.

Mă bucur să îl redescopăr treptat pe tragicul meu favorit. Nu cred că exista vreo șansă să nu îmi placă Ciclopii, mai ales că Euripide reprezintă pentru mine o zonă de confort. Meritul acestei creații cred că este monologul ciclopului despre importanța sinelui și replica expres homosexuală a lui. Ciclopul ăsta e o creatură oribilă, dar ar fi un Disney villain perfect.

Polifemo avvinazzato

Breve incursione di Euripide nella commediografia: un testo particolare, dove non ci sono gli accenti tragici delle opere più note, ma un'atmosfera più corriva e divertita - la presenza del Satiro Sileno rende il tutto più sbracato e vinoso (si vedano i suoi tentativi di rubare il nettare a Polifemo) con indubbio divertimento del pubblico.
Resta interessante notare l'antipatia di Euripide per l' "uomo nuovo" Ulisse che viene chiamato furbo uomo-chiacchiera, termine che risulta per lui offensivo, e gli sboccati riferimenti alle donne (su tutte Elena) che fanno sospettare un qualche misoginia dell'autore.

با این که واقعا به نمایشنامه های یونان باستان علاقه دارم علیرقم دوستان این نمایشنامه به اندازه زنان تروا و زنان فنیقی یا الکترا و مده‌آ برام جذابیت نداشت
ولی نه این که پیشنهاد نکنم برعکس هم خیلی قشنگ بود هم روون و راحت میتونین بخونید و لذت ببرید و توی ۱ ساعت جمعش کنید ولی تکرار میکنم به اندازه ۴ نمایشنامه دیگه ی اوریپیدس برام جذابیت نداشت

ارزش خواندن را برای من داشت. این که یک نوشته تو را می‌برد به ادبیات نمایشی ۲۵ قرن قبل روزگار... واقعاً اعجاب انگیزه!
پی‌نوشت فوق‌العاده ای که کتاب داره؛ در مورد نمایشنامه‌های ساتیر، فلسفه وجودی چنین نمایشنامه‌هایی را توضیح می‌دهد. این که چه طور در این سبک به ریشخند اسطوره ی قدیمی پرداخته می‌شود و حال عبوس تماشاگران در اثر دیدن تراژدی های پیاپی را تغییر می‌دهد. سیکلوپس به عنوان ساتیر سالم باقی‌مانده در این دو هزار و اندی سال، اثر بسیار مهمی است.

Las notas extras ayudan mucho a entender estas obras de cultura griega, muy interesante, gracioso en algunos pasajes. Edificante leer estas piezas para saber mas sobre dioses como Hera, Dionisio, Poseidon, Zeus etc
