These dippy delinquents are at it again. This volume, they are once more attempting to have a field trip. This time, it's via train to Kyoto and the shrines. One would think such a simple trip would be straightforward, but leave it to the Cromartie hoods to find a way to mess it up. The usual suspects all make their appearances here, and there is an abundance of hoodlum hijinks and mayhem that is sure to bestow the typical chuckles. As if the story wasn't already funny enough, even the author's notes about his attempt to win a rival publishing company's manga award are hilarious. Eiji Nonaka isn't even published by Shugakugan Publishing, so he's not even eligible, yet he is quite dismayed when he fails to win their annual manga award. This series consistently has me laughing out loud when I'm reading it. It makes me eager to share it with everyone, but unless you are familiar with the characters, it's difficult to explain just what makes it so darn funny. So, I'll share it in the best way I can - I highly recommend that you read this series!
