The cover of this one is truly badass. It's probably my absolute favourite among the lot.

It seems as if everything is starting to come apart at the seams now.

This is precisely when Death Note reaches its mind-boggling best. The characters are all engaged in second-guessing each other, putting up façades, and vying for the upper hand. Oooh, it's so good. At times, it can be kind of crazy to follow.

Light is becoming increasingly evil and manipulative. He recognizes Misa's vulnerability and lack of self-worth, yet he continues to use her without a second thought. He allows her to essentially destroy her life, as long as he gets what he desires.

He has no respect for anyone or the sanctity of life anymore. He decides to build a relationship with Takada simply so he can 'control her however he wants'. Seriously, dude.

Well, except for his own life, considering he views himself as a god incarnate and all. Why should anyone else's insignificant life stand in the way of his divine vision, right?

And yet, he still possesses that irresistible charm. He is undeniably a fascinating character, a proper love-to-hate guy.

Onwards to the penultimate volume!

Another volume of Death Note that simply draws you in, and the story begins to accelerate at an even faster pace.

The name of this volume is "Deletion" due to the person Kira selects to become the next holder of the Death Note. Mikami, a devout Kira worshipper, frequently utters the phrase "Delete" when he brutally writes down the names he is ordered to kill.

The art style in this volume is no different from that of the other books in this series, but that is by no means a bad thing at all, as I truly enjoyed the consistent style rather than them changing it in the middle.

With the introduction of the two new Kira connections, I thought they were somewhat good characters, especially Mikami compared to the female broadcaster whose name I forgot.

An overall analysis of Mikami reveals that he was a normal person leading a diligent and scheduled life, even after being chosen to become Kira's right-hand man. He had a brief development spotlight, and his backstory was shown to explain why he was the way he was now.

I would recommend this book because it is still the most popular anime, and in my opinion, the manga is actually better. I'm not a big fan of reading things that take a lot of time, but the 7 volumes I read for a project passed by so quickly that I also want to rewatch the anime.

There is a certain level of frustration that comes with reading a series where the same thing keeps happening, just with different people. As the cycle repeats for the fourth or fifth time, it becomes rather tiring. I breezed through this edition, which was different from the previous two. However, I still don't have the same level of care for any of these characters as I did at the beginning of this series. Whether they live or die, it seems to have no real stake for me. To make matters worse, those who are attempting to catch the killer are not likeable either.

I find myself eagerly looking forward to the end of this series. I hope that there will be some sort of resolution or twist that will make the entire reading experience more worthwhile. Until then, I'll continue to plow through the remaining pages, but with a somewhat diminished sense of enthusiasm.

Why am I even reading this??! Why?!

This volume read like a filler. The plot was unravelling at a dragging pace. It felt as if the story was just meandering along without any real purpose or direction.

The new characters were utterly imbecilic and delusional for people who were deemed intelligent and sensible. Their actions and decisions made no sense and only served to further convolute the already muddled plot.

There was so much of dialogue for nothing new being conveyed. It was just a lot of empty words that added nothing to the story.

Now I am only rooting for Near and Mello to put an end to this whole saga because Heaven knows this has got to stop.

Art is still good.

However, this particular work is just so tedious.

The characters lack any real charm or interest.

It's quite a disappointment.

Sigh.

Thankfully, there are only a few more books to go.

Maybe the next ones will be more engaging and bring back the excitement that art usually has.

For now, I'll just have to endure this tediousness and hope for the best.

Perhaps the author will surprise me and turn things around in the remaining books.

Only time will tell.

Until then, I'll keep reading, albeit with a bit of reluctance.

Fan-freakin-tastic!

I absolutely loveeeeee how complex everything continues to be.

It's truly remarkable to see how new and old characters seamlessly come together, creating a web of relationships and storylines that keep me on the edge of my seat.

The stakes are always incredibly high, adding an extra layer of excitement and tension to every moment.

It's as if the creators are constantly upping the ante, challenging the characters and the audience alike.

And I, for one, can't wait to see where this journey takes us.

Onward!!

Each new development feels like a thrilling adventure, and I'm eager to uncover all the mysteries and surprises that lie ahead.

This show has truly captured my heart and imagination, and I'm fully invested in its success.

Here's to many more amazing episodes to come!

This movie is kind of entertaining. The plot didn't drag on as much as some others, which is a plus. There were also some interesting twists and turns that kept me engaged. Light's relationship with his ex and his manipulation of his team into believing his innocence added an element of intrigue. However, I was disappointed with the portrayal of the female characters. They all seemed to be idiots, which was a letdown. It would have been nice to see more complex and intelligent female characters in the movie. Overall, it was an okay movie, but it could have been better with a more diverse and well-developed cast of characters.

Manga

Wow wow wow! Just when I was on the verge of losing interest and started to think that the story was dragging on for far too long, something amazing happened.

I've managed to identify my issue with the later volumes (excluding this one). They placed an excessive emphasis on the police, Near, Mello, and their actions, while we didn't get to see Light acting as Kira nearly as much. However, the parts of the series that I enjoy the most are precisely those where we get to witness Light in action as Kira, masterfully plotting against the police. This book brought that aspect back in a big way, and that ending! It was truly breathtaking.

This is by far my favorite among the later volumes.

It gets really complicated.

I'm not bored in the traditional sense, but rather, something has shifted. I find myself starting to read not out of pure pleasure anymore, but simply to get it done and check it off the list.

The joy that once accompanied the act of reading seems to have diminished. Instead of eagerly diving into a book and getting lost in its pages, I now approach it with a sense of obligation.

It's as if the process has become more about the end result than the journey itself. This change in my reading attitude has me reflecting on what might have caused it. Maybe it's the busyness of life or the distractions that surround us.

Whatever the reason, I hope to find a way back to that place where reading is once again a source of pure enjoyment and a means of escape from the chaos of the world.

How are we feeling, team Light Yagami? Hahahahaha. It's quite an interesting situation we find ourselves in. Light Yagami, with his unique and somewhat controversial methods, has definitely stirred things up. But who knows how this will all play out?

Jeez, this may NOT end well. There are so many variables at play here. Light's actions have consequences, and we can only wonder what those will be. Will he be able to achieve his goals, or will he be caught in his web of lies and manipulation?

One thing is for sure, this is a story that keeps us on the edge of our seats. We can't wait to see what happens next. So, let's stay tuned and see how this thrilling adventure unfolds. Hahahahaha.
