Mello and Matt are truly the shining stars of this series! They are so captivating that I simply can't get enough of them.

They are my absolute favorite team and I firmly believe they deserve their own series. In fact, if it ever came down to a showdown between Mello/Matt and Kira, there's no doubt in my mind that I would wholeheartedly support Mello and Matt.

Misa was also a delight in this installment. Her antics were hilarious and Mello's reaction to her added an extra layer of fun to the story.

However, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for the earlier days when Light could communicate freely with Ryuk. Now, although Ryuk is present on the page, he seems rather static, just standing there and observing. That apple-loving creature needs more room to shine and I'm eager to see Mello meet Ryuk.

And let's not forget my feelings about Near. I have to admit that I'm not a fan. The so-called "monkey child" comes across as rather dull and it doesn't seem like he has any original ideas of his own. He simply follows what L thought was true.

As always, the story presented in this manga is truly brilliant. It has the ability to captivate the readers and keep them engaged from start to finish. However, when it comes to the art, it is rather lackluster. The illustrations do not seem to add much to the overall experience of the story.

I highly doubt that I will ever feel the urge to reread this series. Although the story is good, the unappealing art detracts from its charm. Nevertheless, I am still looking forward to seeing how it all ends.

As far as manga goes, this one is not even in the same league as "The Promised Neverland". That series is a masterpiece in terms of both story and art. If you are looking for a good manga to read, I would highly recommend trying "The Promised Neverland" over this one. It will surely provide you with a more satisfying and enjoyable reading experience.

Things are truly reaching a critical juncture in this volume, and my nerves are on the verge of snapping.

Near is now convinced that the new L is Kira, and he and Mello are drawing ever closer to unearthing the entire truth. By planting seeds of suspicion against Light within the Japanese task force, Near has exerted a whole new level of pressure on Kira. It has become of utmost importance for Kira to locate and eliminate his two adversaries. Additionally, Kira's new disciple is taking matters into his own hands, and Light must find a way to communicate with him while being constantly monitored by his own colleagues.

As you can likely surmise, I am still thoroughly enjoying this. Watching Light formulate plan after plan to evade detection is highly entertaining, albeit a little too nerve-wracking.

However, I must admit that despite all my enthusiasm, I am more than a little irked by how this series portrays women. I mean, how hard would it have been to have at least one prominent female character who wasn't merely there to be shamelessly exploited or immediately killed off?

And it's not as if this isn't a widespread issue in fantasy literature in general (and I'm aware, despite my own limited experience with the genre, that it's a significant problem in this type of manga). But really, people. Just... do better.

That being said, there is nothing left to do but immerse myself in the final two volumes.

Wish me luck.

The new character, along with the character that was retrieved from the past, were both truly remarkable. They truly injected some much-needed freshness and originality into the plot. Finally, Light is suspected of being Kira by someone other than Near and Mello.

As Mello and Near persist in their search for Kira, the pieces of the puzzle are gradually falling into place. The information they manage to obtain through their cunning ruses and spy techniques is astonishing, making it seem as if Light has no hope in this intense cat-and-mouse game.

However, by this stage, the plot does seem to be a bit lacking in excitement. But I firmly believe that the final volume will more than make up for it.

I only have three more volumes left to read, but unfortunately, I can't seem to stay awake. :(( It's really frustrating because I'm so close to finishing this series.

On the other hand, I know that Mello and Matt would absolutely love these volumes. They have always been big fans of this kind of story.

I wish I could just power through and finish reading, but my eyes keep closing. Maybe I should take a short break and then come back to it with a fresh mind.

I hope I can stay awake long enough to finish these last three volumes and share my thoughts with Mello and Matt. They'll be so excited to hear what I have to say.

I truly had a great time with the ending of this particular thing. It was so engaging and satisfying that it left me with a sense of excitement and anticipation.

I couldn't help but wonder what the future holds for it. Will it take an unexpected turn? Will the story continue to unfold in a way that keeps me on the edge of my seat?

The possibilities seem endless, and that's what makes it so thrilling. I can't wait to see where this journey leads.

Whether it's a book, a movie, or a TV show, the ending has definitely piqued my interest and made me eager for more.

I'm looking forward to following along and seeing how the story develops.

"Can it be...? Are you God?"

These words are filled with wonder and disbelief. The person asking seems to be in a state of shock or extreme surprise.

Perhaps they have witnessed something truly extraordinary or have had an encounter that defies all explanation.

The response "Yes" adds an air of mystery and power.

It makes one wonder what kind of abilities or knowledge this being who claims to be God possesses.

Could it be that they have the power to perform miracles, to heal the sick, or to control the forces of nature?

The exchange between these two individuals leaves many questions unanswered and the imagination running wild.

It makes us think about the existence of a higher power and the possibilities that lie beyond our understanding.

Whether this is a fictional scenario or a real encounter, it has the potential to change a person's life forever.

What would one wish for?

The combination of Mikami, Mello, Near, and Matt is simply the best. And Matsuda. An endless source of entertainment.

And I am pleasantly surprised - Matt got a whole lot more scenes than in the anime!

Go, Wammy boys!

This group of characters brings so much excitement and intrigue to the story. Mikami with his unwavering dedication, Mello with his bold and brash nature, Near with his brilliant intellect, and Matt with his unique charm.

Matsuda, on the other hand, provides the much-needed comic relief. His antics and naivety add a lighthearted touch to the otherwise intense plot.

The fact that Matt has more screen time in this version is a great bonus. It allows us to get to know him better and appreciate his character even more.

Overall, the Wammy boys are a force to be reckoned with, and I can't wait to see what they do next.

What happened to those magics?

I don't like the direction it's taking and the way it's evolving. Could it potentially become another Game of Thrones?

Talking about magic, there isn't a single character alive at present whom I truly care about. This is what occurs when you eliminate all the good guys that people cared deeply for and shed tears over. If you can't replace them, you're no better than a wingless bird attempting to traverse the ocean.

Oh, I still have some sympathy for light, but not to the extent I once did. It's gradually transforming from love to loathing. And I despise near, and I have an intense desire to strangle Mello. I want to choke him with chocolate-colored poison and watch him foam at the mouth like King Joffrey.

Where are the clever comebacks? The sharp dialogues? Instead, we have only concise monologues. They used to serve the plot extremely well. Now, all I perceive is a vast sea of words... some swirling within white bubbles and others on the outside. I'm only continuing to follow because I'm eager to see the ending.

With only two volumes left to the series, it seems highly probable that the creators were well aware that I would persist in reading, regardless of how excruciatingly dull and overly drawn out the conversations had grown within this particular series.

Unless, of course, they knew precisely that I found the conversations to be mind-numbingly dull. In that case, perhaps their intention was to bore me to tears. However, they cleverly threw in the character of Mikami, which completely took me by surprise.

Unless, that is, I happened to be reading it on a Saturday. Then, it would become blatantly obvious that the bagel I devoured was far more captivating to read about than a brand new origin story concerning a magical killing person. But they astutely anticipated that I would find that particular plot line to be tedious and tiresome. So, they artfully tossed in some Mika scenes and introduced a new eyecandy chic to effectively distract me from the seemingly novelesque word balloons and the chore-like storyline.

It is truly remarkable how the creators have out-thought me at every single step of the way. Their ingenuity is nothing short of brilliant.
