So I thought the last volume gave me whiplash with all the plot twists? Oh honey. You had no idea what was coming.

Everything changes. And I mean everything in this volume. It's like a whole new world has opened up. Towards the middle, I had to set the book down for a second and just let it all sink in. I was completely blindsided. I didn't even come close to predicting what would happen in this volume!

Now with this new arc, we have a lot more characters introduced. There are so many new faces and personalities. I'm not sure how I feel about them right now. Some of them seem interesting, while others I'm a bit skeptical about. But I'm sure they will grow on me as the story progresses. I can't wait to see how they all fit into the bigger picture and what role they will play in the unfolding drama.

I'm not entirely certain that I'm enjoying where the story is headed.

It's truly mind-boggling how L could die!

He was my absolute favorite character. Uuughhh!

The whole premise was supposed to be Kira and him going up against each other.

I had such high expectations for their intense rivalry and now it feels like a huge letdown.

I keep thinking about all the possibilities and how things could have been different.

Maybe there was a way for L to outwit Kira and survive.

But now that he's gone, it's hard to imagine the story without him.

I'm really disappointed and hope that the remaining part of the story can still somehow salvage the situation and give L the justice he deserves.

My heart has been divided into five hundred small pieces in this volume. :( Even though I have known for years that this event would occur, reading it in this volume was extremely heavy for me. :(

Now a kid has appeared who is basically a younger version of L. Let's talk about interchangeable characters. It's not really that funny, to be honest.

It's getting harder and harder for me to follow. There are new characters, but since the basic idea is always exactly the same, it doesn't excite me. Also, Light's chess-like "genius" has already bored me, and he in general has bored me.
