I don't know where the story is going. I'm really lost, but I will continue.

Life is like a mystery novel, and sometimes we find ourselves in the middle of the plot, not having a clue about what lies ahead. I'm in such a situation right now. The path in front of me seems unclear, and I'm not sure which direction to take.

However, even though I'm feeling lost, I'm determined to keep going. I know that giving up is not an option. Maybe there are challenges and obstacles waiting for me, but I believe that I have the strength and courage to overcome them.

As I continue on this journey, I hope to discover new things, learn from my experiences, and grow as a person. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm ready to face it with an open heart and a positive attitude.

What an anti-climax!

Dumb Misa, dumber Rem. Oh wait... what about Ryuk then :P

It's truly a letdown. Misa is rather dim-witted, and Rem seems even more so. But then again, what about Ryuk? He's an interesting character too.

It's quite puzzling why Rem would choose such a risky approach. By limiting himself to just 40 seconds, he put not only his own life in jeopardy but also the success of his plan. He could have easily specified a time to kill the targets, which would have been a much safer and more effective option. It makes one wonder if there was some other motive or if he simply miscalculated.

There is not much to say about this! Finally! One of my favourite moments in the whole series!

This moment is truly special. It's like a climax that makes my heart race. The anticipation leading up to it was palpable, and when it finally arrived, it didn't disappoint.

Talking about a master planner! The way everything is laid out and executed is just mind-blowing. Btw, what is that Shinigami keep dying for Misa? It's such a mystery that adds an extra layer of intrigue to the story.

I can't wait to see what happens next. Will the master planner's plan succeed? What will be the consequences for the characters? These questions keep popping up in my mind, making me eager to continue reading the series.

The images provided also enhance the overall experience. They give a visual representation of the moments being described, making it easier for me to imagine the scenes in my mind.

Overall, this is a great moment in the series that has left me on the edge of my seat. I'm looking forward to more exciting developments in the future.

Death Note, Vol. 7: Zero (Death Note #7) by Tsugumi Ohba is an enthralling installment in the popular Japanese manga series.

Written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, the story revolves around Light Yagami. A brilliant teen, Light discovers a mysterious notebook, the "Death Note," which once belonged to the Shinigami Ryuk. This notebook bestows upon the user the extraordinary power to kill anyone whose name is inscribed within its pages.

The series then delves into Light's ambitious plan to utilize the Death Note to carry out a global massacre of those he deems morally unworthy. He aims to transform the world into a Utopian society devoid of crime, adopting the alias of a god-like vigilante known as "Kira."

In response, an elite task-force of law enforcement officers, composed of members from the Japanese police force and led by the enigmatic international detective L, whose past is veiled in mystery, is assembled. Their mission is to apprehend Light and put an end to his reign of terror.

The captivating plot, complex characters, and moral dilemmas presented in Death Note make it a must-read for manga enthusiasts.

Okay, this volume was truly amazing! I was longing for something distinct in terms of the narrative structure, and golly, did I ever get it! Ohba! I never expected you to take it to such an extent!! I wasn't entirely prepared, but you know, to be honest, the outcome of one of the storylines was long overdue.

In the previous volume, Light and L managed to apprehend the current known Kira. Once they obtained possession of the DeathNote, Light's memories came back, and the full depth of his genius was revealed. We were finally able to witness just how brilliantly Light had manipulated everyone, both humans and Shinigami alike. I adored the revelation in its entirety, as well as what ensued.

Since one of the major plotlines reached a conclusion, a new one that branched off took its place. I'm not entirely certain how I feel about the introductions of the two new characters, but the only way to figure it out is to read Volume 8! Onward!

One of my all-time favorite authors once penned a review of Death Note, comparing it to a Sherlock Holmes story told from Moriarty's perspective. I couldn't agree more! L (Ryuzaki) was, for me, the second coming of Sherlock, just as Raito was the second Moriarty. I have to admit, I adored them both, though I had a particular soft spot for L. Raito's motivations had turned evil and corrupt, and his mastermind nature only exacerbated that. On the other hand, L was a more laid-back character, driven by the desire to find clues and solve mysteries. Raito was a handsome and clever manipulator, while L was an eccentric and complex detective. In this story, there are no clear-cut good or bad guys. It's like a chess game with two sides, and it was truly fascinating to see which side would emerge victorious. (I must also mention Watari, as he is one of the most badass characters I've ever come across.)

However, in this volume, my feelings towards Raito took a drastic turn. I despised him with every fiber of my being!!!!!

The first half was again really exciting! Truly brilliant.

Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed with the second half. Somehow, there were turns here that I didn't like very much and that I then found quite boring.

Maybe it was because the story lost some of its momentum or the characters didn't develop in a way that held my interest.

However, I still think the overall concept was good and the first half was strong enough to make me want to give it a chance.

I'm hoping that future installments will bring back the excitement and keep me engaged from start to finish.

I simply cannot believe that the thing which actually occurred, truly happened. It is astonishing to see how the story is unfolding and continuing after this particular incident.

I am extremely unhappy. So very, very unhappy. The level of my dissatisfaction is palpable.

Not to mention, the evil little grin that Light gives after something takes place. It sends shivers down my spine.

This grin of his seems to hold a multitude of secrets and malevolent intentions. It makes me wonder what he is truly planning and what more chaos he will bring to this already complex and unpredictable story.

Meh. That was kinda disappointing, but I'm not giving up.

It was a bit of a letdown, to be honest. I had expected something better, something more exciting. But alas, it didn't quite meet my expectations. However, that doesn't mean I'm going to throw in the towel. I'm still determined to keep going, to keep trying.

I know that setbacks are a part of life, and this is just one of them. I'll learn from it and come back stronger. Maybe the next time around, things will work out better. I'm not one to easily give up on my goals and dreams.

So, despite the disappointment, I'm going to stay positive and keep looking forward. I believe that good things are still to come, and I'm not going to let this minor setback stop me from achieving them.

Spoilers

It was truly remarkable that Light finally regained his memories and the notebook. All of his past scheming and planning were completely exposed. He proved to be even more intelligent and devious than I had initially imagined. He had the ability to think long-term and manipulate events to his advantage. It was astonishing how accurately he predicted every move L would make, and his plan executed flawlessly. However, it was clear that he narrowly defeated L, and he will need to remain at the top of his game constantly to continue evading justice for his crimes.

I still had a great affection for Misa. Nevertheless, I despised the way Light was controlling and using her. I truly hope she doesn't end up becoming one of his casualties.

I was pleased to see Ryuk return. I had missed his banter with Light.

I was relieved that the battle of wits between L and Light finally came to an end. It had endured for a sufficient amount of time. Although it was sad that L died, it was inevitable that either he or Light would meet a fatal end.

The time jump and Light's new adversaries, Near/the new L and Mello/the mafia, held great promise. Hopefully, both of them will be able to pose an even greater challenge to Light than L ever did.
