I want a shinigami as a home pet!

Just imagine having a mysterious and powerful shinigami by your side. It would be like having a unique and extraordinary companion.

A shinigami could bring a sense of excitement and adventure to my daily life. I could learn about the afterlife and the secrets it holds from this fascinating creature.

It would be so cool to have a shinigami that could protect me and keep me safe. With its supernatural abilities, it could ward off any threats or dangers that might come my way.

Although having a shinigami as a pet might seem a bit strange to some people, I think it would be an amazing experience. It would be a one-of-a-kind pet that would surely turn heads and spark conversations.

I can already picture myself playing with my shinigami, teaching it tricks, and forming a special bond with it. It would be a pet like no other, and I would cherish every moment spent with it.

So, if I could have any pet in the world, it would definitely be a shinigami.

We truly encounter L. in volume two, and he is an extremely fascinating character.

He is twitchy, yet brilliant, capable of unnerving others while also commanding attention.

He is very much like Light himself, which makes him an excellent foil for Light.

This volume also introduces the very cool Naomi.

I already miss her.

The stakes are significantly raised in this volume, and it appears that L. is getting closer and closer to Light.

In some places, it is quite tense, leaving me extremely eager to read the next volume.

The development of the story and the introduction of new characters add more depth and excitement to the overall plot.

I can't wait to see how the relationship between L. and Light will further unfold, and what will happen to Naomi in the future.

Overall, volume two has left a strong impression on me and has made me even more invested in the series.

The obsession is truly palpable at this juncture. I must admit that I found Naomi to be rather irritating. However, I am really enjoying L. Do you get what I mean? If you haven't embarked on this series yet, then what on earth are you waiting for?

It's as if there is an unspoken allure that draws you in, making it impossible to resist. The characters, despite their flaws, have a certain charm that keeps you hooked. Naomi's annoyance might be a necessary evil to balance out the story, while L's presence adds an element of mystery and intrigue.

Maybe it's the anticipation of what's to come, the desire to uncover the secrets and解开谜团 that drives us to keep reading. Or perhaps it's the simple pleasure of getting lost in a fictional world, away from the stresses of reality.

Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure - this series has something special, and you don't want to miss out on it.

So, this is a rather controversial opinion.

To be honest, I don't have any affection for Light. He doesn't appeal to me even as an anti-hero or antagonist.

In fact, I gave up on the anime twice before finally managing to finish it. And when I read the series, it reminds me precisely why.

Currently, I have the entire series borrowed from the library. However, I highly doubt that I'll be able to get through the whole thing before it's due back.

Maybe it's because his actions and motives just don't resonate with me. Or perhaps it's the way the story is presented that doesn't quite grip my interest.

Whatever the reason, my lack of liking for Light persists, and it affects my overall enjoyment of the series.

Despite having the opportunity to explore the entire story, I'm not overly motivated to do so.

It remains to be seen if I'll be able to overcome this aversion and fully engage with the series before it has to go back to the library.

This is truly becoming extremely questionable on the part of Light at this point.

And L... Oh, I have an abundance of questions.

This story is written so remarkably well and is so intelligent. I absolutely love it!!

Now, it's time to move on to the next one.

It's fascinating how the plot has developed and the actions of Light have raised so many doubts.

L, on the other hand, seems to be the only one who might be able to figure out the truth.

The way the story is crafted keeps me on the edge of my seat, eager to see what will happen next.

Each new development brings more complexity and depth to the narrative, making it a truly engaging read.

I can't wait to discover what awaits in the next installment.

When the first book starts, it gives off an amazing buzz. Actually, we can't say that there is a thematic difference. It progresses as a direct continuation of the first book. Again, the same excitement continues. On the one hand, the character Kira makes people wonder how they would act if they were in his place. I had bought the first two books from the store. Suddenly, something came up for me the next day, and I thought about where I had gotten them from.

This story seems to have a certain charm that keeps pulling the reader in. The seamless continuation from the first book to the second maintains the momentum and excitement. The character of Kira is particularly interesting as it makes the reader put themselves in his shoes and consider different actions and decisions. The situation of suddenly having to deal with something the next day after buying the books adds a touch of realism and unpredictability to the narrative.

Overall, this article gives a brief but engaging account of the experience of starting the second book and the thoughts and feelings it引发. It makes the reader curious to know more about the story and what will happen next.

Having the power to kill, even if it is done for the so-called "Greater Good", still has the potential to turn one's soul to darkness. This is especially evident in this part of the story. Light, who believes he is acting as a kind of god, makes a series of decisions that lead to even more darkness. The encounter with "The Woman", Naomi Misora, adds another layer of complexity. She is a strong and determined woman who is seeking justice for the death of her fiancée. She is also敏锐enough to detect who might be Kira. However, in a strange twist of fate, she ends up going to Light. This volume is particularly dark as Kira decides to eliminate the FBI agents investigating the case. His plan is brilliant but also extremely dark. Naomi Misora is aware of the dark plan from the beginning but doesn't know for sure who Kira is. She tries to help her fiancée but he won't listen, much to Kira's luck. I find this part of the story both thrilling and sad. It is also more dangerous for Light, who has already proven to be more twisted than we thought. The different sections of this volume, such as "Woman", "Slots", "Confluence", etc., all contribute to the overall atmosphere and plot. Watching the anime a year later, I was struck by how well it captured Naomi Misora's shock and the sad ending. However, I still hold out hope that she may have another role to play in the story.

Having the power to kill, even if done for "Greater Good" is still turn your soul to Darkness...

And in this part... Light can't get more Dark...

Specially with his encounter with "The Woman";

Naomi Misora, a woman who wanted Justice..to who killed her fiancée..

A woman strong enough to Detect who can be Kira..

Yet she just went to him... in a strange twist of fates..

---------------

This volume is even more dark, since Kira decided to eliminate the FBI agents that investigate the case of Kira..

He made a plan in work... it's brilliant really but yet so dark..

And a Woman, Naomi Misora, way out of this investigation team is aware of the dark plan from the beginning of this volume, yet she didn't know for sure..who is Kira.

She tried to help her fiancée yet he won't listen... much to Kira's luck...

Kira who thinks a God is on his side after all....

--------------

I find this part is even more thrilling in some parts yet kinda sad..

And it's even more dangerous to Light...who already proved to be more twisted than we thought..

"Woman" 4 ☆ -although later you'll appreciate the woman here.

"Slots" 4☆ -smart yet dark

"Confluence" 4☆

"One" 5☆

"God" 5☆ -breathtaking one

"Countdown" 5☆ -even more breathtaking....and sad.

"Temptation" 4☆

"Phone Call" 4☆

"Handstand" 5☆

And watching the Anime a year later -in order to start reading the second half of the series 7 to 12)... I can't shrug the feeling how sad it is the story of Naomi Misora...

The anime captured her shock brilliantly.. And the sad ending a bit made me lost hope...

Yet I still believe she may have another role..may be..

The cliffhanger at the end of the first volume was simply too intense for me. It left me on the edge of my seat, eager to know what would happen next. So, without a moment's hesitation, I jumped right into the next volume as soon as possible. Off to volume 2!

The story picks up exactly where the first volume left off. A botched bus-jacking incident leads to Raito learning the name of the FBI agent who was tailing him. This newfound knowledge allows him to uncover the identities of all the other agents stationed in Japan. Raito then uses this information as a challenge for L, the mysterious detective on his trail.

A new character is introduced into the mix - a woman who is the fiancée of the FBI agent Raito encounters. Her name is Maki Shouko, and her sole mission is to solve the mystery behind Kira, the name given to the person responsible for the killings (who, of course, is Raito). She crosses paths with Raito at the Police Headquarters while waiting to provide some information about the killings. The two engage in conversation, and Maki seems to have figured out a great deal about the bus hijacking and even has an inkling about the identity of Kira. As fate would have it, she reveals this information right in front of Raito. However, Raito tricks her, and unfortunately, she finds her name in the Death Note.

L finally reveals his true identity to a select group of officers, including the Chief of Police. For the first time in the manga series, the reader gets to meet L. His idiosyncrasies and thought processes are truly fascinating. No one looking at him would ever suspect that he is a legendary detective capable of solving the most difficult cases single-handedly. But as the saying goes, we should never judge a book by its cover, and the same goes for people. L's brilliant mind allows him to constantly analyze Raito's plans and motives. The cat and mouse chase between the two is already incredibly exciting, and I can't wait to see what the other volumes have in store!

L's associate, Watari, also has his identity revealed in this volume. The focus of suspicion now lies on the families of the Chief and Sub-chief, and L and the other officers must take measures to keep an eye on the suspects. Meanwhile, Maki Shouko seems to have vanished without a trace, and L becomes aware of this development. This new clue only adds to the complexity of the puzzle that is unfolding before our eyes.

What really surprised me in this volume is the transformation in Raito's character. He began as an honor student with the noble intention of ridding the world of evil. But now, he is resorting to extreme measures to cover his tracks, without any regard for the lives he holds in his hands. His primary objective is to hide his identity at all costs. As I read this, I couldn't help but think of Friedrich Nietzsche's words: "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." This thought has really stuck with me, and I wonder if Raito will ever realize the path he is on.

This is definitely going to be GOOD.

At the beginning, I say that I mark it as currently reading on Goodreads. Then I say that I hesitate and then I say my marks. But at the moment I let go of it, it is already finished. What is this, DJCMS?

Sometimes, when we start a book, we are so eager to mark it as currently reading on platforms like Goodreads. It gives us a sense of accomplishment and a way to share our reading progress with others. However, as we read along, we might find ourselves hesitating. Maybe we get distracted, or the story doesn't grip us as much as we thought it would. And before we know it, we have already finished the book without really realizing it.

It's a strange phenomenon that can leave us wondering how time passed so quickly. DJCMS, do you have the same experience? Maybe we should pay more attention to our reading process and truly savor each moment of the book.

✪ I have to admit that I wasn't really anticipating to like this book

Even though I have watched the anime multiple times,

talked about the plot, story and theories too many times to count,

it is still an absolute delight to finally read the manga.

The experience of seeing the story unfold in a different medium is truly remarkable.

And I will always feel a tinge of sadness for Raye Penber.

He was such a special character,

with his unique charm and tragic fate.

Reading the manga allows me to delve deeper into his character and understand his motives and emotions on a whole new level.

It's like rediscovering the story all over again,

but with a fresh perspective and a newfound appreciation for the details and nuances that I might have missed in the anime.

Overall, it's been an amazing journey, and I can't wait to see what else the manga has in store for me.
