I don't know what attracts me so much in this series, but I love it!

I can still hardly believe that there exists a 23-volume manga series centered around the game of Go, and it's truly captivating to the point where it's difficult to put down. The story is filled with drama and cliffhangers that keep you on the edge of your seat. Surprisingly, I actually find myself deeply caring about what happens to several of these characters, which is an extremely rare occurrence for me.

Furthermore, I was quite shocked to learn that Fujiwara-no-Sai is male, as the internet claims. Personally, I much prefer the idea of Hikaru being possessed by an ancient female Go master. In fact, I have no problem whatsoever continuing to read the series with this alternate perception in my mind. It adds an interesting twist to the story and allows me to engage with the characters and the plot in a whole new way.

The manga's ability to create such a compelling and immersive world is truly remarkable, and I look forward to seeing where the story takes me next.
