I just read it all in one go xD I simply love it and Kuro is the best xD

This short statement expresses the author's enthusiasm and admiration. Reading something "in one go" implies that it was so engaging that the person couldn't stop. The use of "xD" adds a sense of playfulness and excitement. The claim that "Kuro is the best" shows a strong preference or appreciation for this particular thing or person named Kuro.

It could be that Kuro is a character in a story, a pet, a friend, or something else entirely. Without further context, we can only imagine what makes Kuro so special to the author.

Overall, this simple expression conveys a positive and passionate attitude towards the reading experience and Kuro.

Sometimes, authors or creators choose to take the characters they have used in one story and place them in an entirely different one with an alternate universe storyline. This approach may or may not work. Fortunately, in the case of Tsubasa, it works extremely well.

The series is driven by a rather original plot, and the familiar characters are developed in an alternate yet convincing manner. The CLAMP writers have crafted a manga that I instantly fell in love with.

I can't quite put my finger on why, but it hits all the right notes for me. The characters are interesting and their development is engaging. The plot is both good and original, offering a fresh take on the story. The drawing style is somewhat simplistic yet detailed at the same time, and it is classicly CLAMP, which means you can expect high quality. Overall, Tsubasa left me craving for more.

In conclusion, Tsubasa is a prime example of how taking characters from one story and placing them in an alternate universe can result in a truly amazing and captivating manga.

It has been several years since I watched the anime and read the manga from where the OVAs don't follow. And now I have the urge to read the whole manga.

Oh, what memories it will be to see all of them again <3. This anime and manga have always held a special place in my heart. The characters are so vivid and the story is so engaging.

Every time I think about it, I can't help but smile. I'm really looking forward to rereading the manga and reliving those wonderful moments.

I wonder if I will discover something new this time around. Maybe there are some details that I missed before.

Well, no matter what, I know it's going to be a great experience. I can't wait to start!

2.5 stars - This is my second Manga experience, and I find myself in a bit of a quandary.

I'm not entirely certain if it's the case that I simply don't have a penchant for Manga in general, or perhaps it's just that the ones I've attempted so far haven't quite hit the mark for me.

I'm inclined to think it might be the latter, as both of the Manga I've read seem to be more targeted towards a Young Adult (YA) audience.

Given this, I've decided that before I completely write off the entire genre, I'm going to give one of the more popular Manga a try.

Maybe with a different title and a more widely-acclaimed work, I'll be able to understand and appreciate the allure that Manga holds for so many people.

Who knows, it could be that the next Manga I pick up will be the one that changes my perspective and makes me a true convert to this unique form of storytelling.

This is a captivating fantasy manga by CLAMP where the main characters embark on a journey to a parallel world.

Consequently, the setting of the place changes frequently, adding an element of excitement and unpredictability to the story.

There are two main characters, Syaoran and Sakura. Syaoran is a courageous and kind person, while Sakura is a charming caricature princess.

However, every character has their own attractive point, which ensures that readers never get bored with either the characters or the story.

The most alluring aspect of this manga, without a doubt, is the art. Each frame is drawn with a delicate touch,展现出极高的绘画技巧.

We simply cannot help but be fascinated by these beautiful and intricate arts.

It is truly a visual and narrative masterpiece that keeps readers engaged from start to finish.

You want to have your brain fried? Then I suggest you read Tsubasa.

CLAMP is super clever in taking the two main protagonists from their other work: Cardcaptor Sakura, which is a favourite of mine. So, of course, I was pretty much sucked in like *that*. However, I didn't read Tsubasa straight after it was released in Thailand. I was too busy obsessing over something else at that time. But one of my friends was hooked on it (though she never got to the end because it became too much of a mindfuck for her).

But hey, a few years later is better than never starting at all!

The plot is good, with the twists and turns that can make anyone suffer a brain freeze and want to abandon ship. I was not one of those people. Although I almost threw in the towel by around chapter 150 or so, I was so damn curious to find out what would happen in the end. Plus, the help from the internet was great for clearing things up. All the characters' backstories were a favourite of mine, and how they all were linked by Fei Wong (Wang?) Reed. And every one of them was damaged in their own way. At the beginning of the journey, it was more funny and fluffy. Towards the middle till the end, it went full-blown angst on me after finding out the characters' backstories (murdered parents, dead twin, clone parents, and so on and so forth...). And holy crap, it was violent. But hey, it's a "shonen" manga for boys in their teens.

It is also first and foremost a love story. What guy would go on a journey crossing dimensions to save your memories while kicking ass at the same time? Oh, and also, you have no idea who this guy is, but he does it for you anyway? No, not so many guys would do that. Just Syaoran. Which now leads me to say the infamous Thai saying "Only the good men are in novels" or in his case; manga.

This was a truly solid read. For me, it bears a great resemblance to my experience with XXXHolic. In the manga, I am presented with a more "tight-knit" story compared to the anime. I am well aware that this is often the case. However, it is still highly enjoyable to witness the story unfold.

The first volume concentrates on the beginning of the tale,描绘了各种“主要角色所处的位置”——他们到达由宇子小姐的店铺,然后进入第一个世界。

Overall, it has made a solid 5-star start. :)

I've been having the intention to read this for quite some time now, but unfortunately, I never managed to find the time to do so. Just a few hours ago, I took my history test, and now I truly deserve this break. Lol.

Binge reading has become a rather common thing these days.

As I'm reading this, a wave of nostalgia hits me like a truck. All the characters seem so familiar that it only requires a little bit of recall to bring them back to my mind. I don't think I have any issue with the alternate dimensions. However, it seems that most reviewers are quite disgruntled because the characters are not exactly the same as they were before. In my opinion, at their very core, they are still the same, but it's the different situations that make them appear different. After all, we are all the products of our environment.

I'm really enjoying this reading experience and can't wait to see what else this story has in store for me.

After seven long years of separation, Princess Sakura and Syaoran, the son of a renowned archeologist, finally reunite. Following the tragic death of his father, Syaoran was offered a place within the royal family's home. However, he felt that he simply could not accept this offer. Having carved out a name for himself in the challenging field of archeology, Syaoran makes his way back to Sakura's kingdom.

Sakura loses all of her precious memories when she touches the Tsubasa of an ancient artifact during an archeological dig. As a result, Syaoran is compelled to embark on a perilous journey through time and space in order to recollect her memories and save her. Along the way, he encounters two other space/time travelers. One is traveling alone, while the other has been banished. Their fates become intertwined as they journey through alternate dimensions.

The story is truly enjoyable, with the authors skillfully weaving just enough plot threads to keep the reader captivated. The series gets off to a great start. However, it does have a few flaws. The villains' motivations can sometimes be a bit unclear, and a certain amount of background knowledge is required to fully understand and appreciate the story. This is because the series connects all of CLAMP's properties. While the first volume is handled well, I hope that the authors don't overcomplicate things later on. Additionally, the author accidentally reveals several details that end up spoiling the villains' motivations.

You should definitely read the book XXXhOliC. While it's not essential, it is highly recommended due to its tie-in with this series. I have read at least a dozen CLAMP series, but this one is by far the best. The story is well worth reading for its creative plot twists and deliciously angsty ending. Bueno bueno bueno, hello there!

To begin with, I have to say: I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW INCREDIBLE THESE MANGA ARE. Really, it was worth reading each and every one of their volumes (even though I still have some left to read), my respects to these ladies.

To start, I'm going to divide this review into two parts because, honestly, I believe that Tsubasa and Holic are the same story with a different reading order. Honestly, I think that if a person reads only one of the two without reading the other, they're going to have problems because they should be read together.

In this space, I'm going to write about the story and in the Holic part about the characters.

Primarily, it's important to clarify that Tsubasa is the manga where absolutely all of Clamp's stories converge. ALL OF THEM. Holic, on the other hand, has some crossovers in the first few volumes, but then it doesn't continue, and instead, Holic is mixed with Tsubasa. I think the reading order I took was the ideal one, that is, by release date. Now, I'm going to start the points of the review.

*Crossovers CLAMP: This is the list of characters, objects, and references to other Clamp manga that were made during both manga. I took the trouble to note down all the ones I found.

-H1: The staff of Sakura Card Captor, Yuko talked about the wizard Clow and Sakura, said that she doesn't know her yet but that "soon we will meet, although we won't be the same anymore". Kudo and Rikuo appeared. Yuko mentioned Subaru TwT.

-T1: King Ashura of RG Veda and Soma (the cake) of RG Veda appeared. Chii was with Fai. Arashi and Sorata of X appeared, they are married and help the group.

-T2: Primera of MKR2 appeared, that little fairy.

-H2: Clow and Yuko created the Mokonas to help Sakura and Xiaolang. Yuko confirmed that Xiaolang and Sakura are other versions of the protagonists of SCC, both are relatives of Clow. Yuko said "everything will be okay", which is the phrase Sakura uses.

-T3: Chunhyuang appeared in the new world they travel to. Here, the mother was assassinated and didn't commit suicide.

-T4: When they leave the world of Chunhyuang, those who could overthrow the governor arrive and they are the 3 child detectives. In the next world, the legend of the princess is Emeraude, who is the same princess as in MKR.

-H3: Watanuki used some headphones that are like the ears of Chii from Chobits.

-T5: Yuzuriha and Kusanagi of X appeared.

-T6: Erii, Takeshi, and Kentrao of Duklyon <3 appeared. Ryuo and Souma of RG Veda also appeared. Kuro and Fay went to a bar called Clover, there was the singer Oruha. Caldina of MRK appeared. The ones from Suki were seen in the background. Seishiro appeared who, in the manga, knows Xiaolang.

-H4: They went to a store that has the name of Dukylon.

-T7: Sumomomo and Kotoko of Chobits appeared. Chitose of Chobits and the fairy park of Clover also appeared. Seishiro was looking for two vampires (I was spoiled and they are Kamui and Subaruuuuu <3).

-T8: The goddess Karen of X appeared. A statue of Yasha and a statue of Ashura of RG Veda appeared.

-T9: There is a war between the Yasha clan and the Ashura clan. The bad guy in Tsubasa is called Fei Wong Reed, his ancestor is the wizard Clow. Clow recognizes the power of Yuuko.

-T10: A change occurs in reality, the future of the country was rewritten. The first time jump. Tomoyo appeared with bodyguards and used Sakura as a model ajjajaa. Several characters from the previous worlds appeared.

-T11: The Clamp detectives appeared, they were investigating who cheated in the race. Tomoyo made the outfit for Sakura and Mokona to compete.

-T13: Kendappao of RGVeda appeared in the world of Kurogane as the queen. In Tsubasa, she is called Amaterasu.

-T14: They went to a world where everything is destroyed (from the spoilers, I assume it's the world of X if Kamui became the dragon of the earth). They met Kamui.

-T15: All the dragons of the earth and sky appeared, but neither Seishiro nor Subaru were there.

-T17: Subaru appeared. Fuma and Seishiro are brothers, Seishiro is looking for Kamui and Subaru. There is a story between Subaru and Seishiro, they don't say what happened.

-T19: They were fighting in a tournament that is similar to the tournaments of Angelic Layer. Hikaru appeared as their opponent in the last match.

-T28: The 3 magical warriors appeared as companions of the cloned Sakura when she reincarnates in the real world.

*Summary:

Well, the truth is that I want to make a summary of both stories because otherwise, I feel like I'm going to forget.

To begin with, the story starts with Sakura and Xiaolang, on Sakura's birthday in the country of Clow. Some bad guys attack the castle and end up dividing Sakura's memories into feathers that are scattered across different dimensions. With the help of Yuuko, a team is formed and they travel through the worlds.

At first, everything is calm until they go to the world of Tokyo (which would be an alternate reality of X where Kamui is a dragon of the earth and humanity is not saved). At that moment, a Xiaolang (who turns out to be the original) appears and the Xiaolang we've been seeing is a clone, who turns bad because he is controlled by Fei Wong. The clone goes to look for the feathers and the original Xiaolang stays. Then, we find out that the Sakura we've been seeing is also a clone. In a fight, the cloned Sakura "dies".

Xiaolang tells Kurogane, Fai, and Mokona his story. He came from the real world and was sent to Clow when he was little to save Sakura. This goes wrong because when they attack the castle, Xiaolang hesitates, causing Sakura to be cursed. Xiaolang never returns to his country again, but he tries to decipher a method to save her. Not only can he not save her, but Fei Wong stops time and prevents Sakura from dying by granting Xiaolang's wish. For this, Xiaolang pays with his time and freedom. Watanuki is created, who is going to replace him in the real world. Both are the same person but in different worlds. In addition, Watanuki has the appearance of Clow when he was young (BRO I NEVER NOTICED THAT).

Fei Wong imprisons Xiaolang, creates a clone and replaces him in the story when it started, and also creates a clone of Sakura to prevent anything bad from happening to the real one.

On the day when time is going to start again, the clone sacrifices himself for the original Xiaolang, and that's when Yuuko saves him, along with the cloned Sakura, and makes them reincarnate in the real world. From there, we find out that the clones are the parents of the original Xiaolang, so it was created as a loop.

To prevent Fei Wong's plans from coming true, which are to prevent people from being able to die, a wish he takes after seeing that Clow saved Yuuko from death, the clones and Yuuko sacrifice themselves to make time return to normal. Kurogane also kills Fei Wong.

Since Xiaolang and Watanuki shouldn't really exist because they are products of their clones, they pay a price to continue living. Xiaolang has to move through the worlds without stopping and Watanuki can never leave the store again. Also, Watanuki takes Yuuko's place in the store, with the wish of waiting for her to return at some point.

At the end of the story of Tsubasa, Xiaolang says goodbye to Sakura, who they managed to save, and decides to travel through the different dimensions with the goal of bringing the clones and Yuuko back.

When the story of Tsubasa ends, the story of Holic continues.

Watanuki spends around ten years as the owner of the store and fulfills the different wishes of people. Doumeki practically lives with him (OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE DOUMEKI IS IN LOVE WITH WATANUKI, YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, GIRLS CLAMP!!!!!!!!!!).

In the last volume, Watanuki dreams of Yuuko and realizes that he has a lot of magical power and can now leave the store, but he decides that he will continue to wait for her and take care of the store, with the freedom to be able to leave.

Basically, that's the story, very summarized hehehehe, of both manga. I have to say that I LOVED THEM. The truth is that they are as incredible as people describe them. I really liked all the characters and the stories. They made me cry several times and the truth is that they are amazing. How they mixed Tsubasa with Holic, and the idea of Clow in Sakura Card Captor, the alternate reality of X. How they managed to mix all the stories. I really think they went crazy with these two manga. They are easily the best manga of Clamp, which I like to take as the same story.

I would recommend everyone to read all of Clamp's manga just to be able to enjoy everything that these two stories have to offer. They really blew my mind. For now, the best manga of Clamp. Really.

Well, now I'm going to go and write a shorter review of all the characters in the Holic review.

I LOVED THESE MANGA. THE BEST THAT CLAMP HAS TO OFFER. I WAS FASCINATED!!!!

[Series Length: 19 volumes / Read: volumes 1 - 6]

The world-renowned mangaka circle CLAMP seems to have just phoned it in with "Tsubasa". It's basically a rather lame excuse to bring back old characters from their previous titles in new settings. The story follows an alternate version of Syaoran, who was originally famous from "Card Captor Sakura", as he goes on a dimension-hopping adventure with a magician and a warrior. They travel from one random world to the next, all in an attempt to recover the memories of Sakura, who is also an alternate version. Along the way, they meet, as you might have guessed, alternate versions of previously existing CLAMP characters. Some of these characters hinder the heroes, while others help them.

To be honest, this kind of aimless wandering around really bores me to death. It's much like what we see in Rumiko Takahashi's "Inu Yasha" series. And because of the constant dimension-hopping, it becomes extremely hard to get to know any of the characters, let alone care about them. Moreover, since these are not really the characters that long-time CLAMP fans are familiar with, one has to wonder if they even matter that much.

What would have been far more interesting is a series where the established CLAMP characters truly get to meet and interact with each other. CLAMP has actually done a fairly good job of this in the past. They have intermingled characters across different series, such as in "Tokyo Babylon" with "X", "20 Mensou ni Onegai" with "CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan", and "Angelic Layer" with "Chobits". However, they have never really thrown entire casts into a single story, with the exception of the "CLAMP In Wonderland" music videos, which I personally really enjoyed.

I finally finished xxxHolic, and as a result, Tsubasa felt like the natural progression!

This series is incredibly more complex and dense than the CLAMP works I'm accustomed to. It's truly remarkable. Although I suppose I have typically favored those that are more self-contained mythical stories. However, Tsubasa, despite telling the tales of numerous characters that you might already be familiar with, has a great deal of setup that needs to be established. There is so much groundwork to be laid! It's both exciting and a bit overwhelming. Nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to embarking on another long and engaging journey through this series. I can't wait to see how all the storylines unfold and how the characters develop. It's going to be an adventure for sure!
