Love the Silly Little Hairstyles

We all have those moments when we look back at our old photos and laugh at the silly little hairstyles we used to have. Whether it was a mullet, a perm, or a bowl cut, these hairstyles were once a part of our identity.

Some of us may have thought these hairstyles were cool at the time, while others may have been forced into them by our parents or peers. But no matter what the reason, they hold a special place in our hearts.

Looking back at these silly little hairstyles can also bring back memories of the people and events that were associated with them. We may remember the first time we got a perm, or the day we decided to shave our heads. These memories are a part of who we are and make us unique.

So the next time you see a photo of yourself with a silly little hairstyle, don't be embarrassed. Instead, embrace it and remember the fun times you had.

3.5 - It is interesting until a certain point, but the introduction of the stands opens up a sea of absurd conveniences.

The stands bring with them a host of benefits that might seem almost too good to be true. They offer a more organized and accessible way to display and access various items or services.

However, this also means that there is a potential for over-complication and an excess of features that may not necessarily be needed.

It's like having a toolbox filled with every possible tool, but only using a handful of them regularly.

On one hand, the stands provide a level of convenience that can enhance the overall experience. But on the other hand, we need to be cautious not to get lost in the sea of absurd conveniences and lose sight of what is truly essential.

We must find a balance between taking advantage of the benefits and not being overwhelmed by the excess.

Only then can we truly make the most of the introduction of the stands.

Oh, how bizarre!

It is truly a strange and unexpected situation. The events that have unfolded seem to defy all logic and常理.

One moment, everything was going along as expected, and the next, chaos ensued.

The circumstances are so unusual that it is difficult to wrap one's mind around them.

People are left scratching their heads, wondering how such a strange turn of events could have occurred.

It is as if the world has suddenly gone topsy-turvy, and nothing is as it seems.

This bizarreness has everyone on edge, waiting to see what will happen next.

Will there be a resolution to this strange mystery, or will it continue to confound and amaze? Only time will tell.

For now, all we can do is watch and wonder at the truly bizarre nature of this situation.

Five years after having put aside this fabulous series, I take it up again with renewed interest and enthusiasm.

Although something tells me that I won't be able to follow it as assiduously as I would like. To resume reading, I decided to go back to the first issue of the third generation, a few volumes before where I had left off, and see if the fascination it caused me in my early twenties still persisted now that I'm in my late twenties.

And the answer is a partial yes. It still seems to me to be pure epic and the drawing, although somewhat elaborate and disproportionate, has a unique force that not even authors I like more have. The story is relatively linear but very well executed and the fights, a fundamental part in this type of manga, are among the most ingenious I have read.

That said, now that I'm very influenced by the omnipresent TVTropes, I couldn't help but find tropes applicable to each character and situation. But, as they themselves say, "tropes are not necessarily bad". Especially if they are in the service of an entertaining story like this one.

Forever the best.

I truly love the art style and the story of this work.

The art style is so unique and captivating. It has a charm that immediately draws you in and makes you want to explore every detail.

The colors are vivid and the lines are smooth, creating a visually stunning experience.

As for the story, it is equally amazing. It is filled with interesting characters and a plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

You can't help but get emotionally invested in the story and root for the characters.

It has a depth and complexity that makes it stand out from other works.

Overall, I think this is an outstanding piece of art that will be remembered forever.

It is a testament to the talent and creativity of the artist.

I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us in the future.

This seems to be the start to a really interesting story… emphasis on the word seems.

The reason I say seems is this series started in 1986 and is currently STILL not finished at 113 volumes. It's truly astonishing. And while I really enjoyed this first volume and definitely want to read more, I am very skeptical that this series can hold my attention for that long. With such a large number of volumes, I have no doubts it’ll quickly fall into a rut and it’ll end up being the same thing over and over again (most likely JoJo and crew fighting tons of people with Stands).

At this point it is also running the risk of becoming a bit like Dragonball Z where there is a timeline to “win” yet the timeline seems to go on and on. Now, at least here they have 50 days and it’s not “That planet is going to blow up in 5 seconds!” and that five seconds lasts 10 episodes. But, 50 days with 113 volumes currently unfinished seems to be pushing it just a bit too much.

But, enough of my doubting complaints about the ridiculous length of this series, let’s get back to the review at hand. I actually really enjoyed this first volume. Granted, JoJo looks more like a 27 year old than a 17 year old, and boy oh boy is he pretty beefy for a 17 year old, the storyline is pretty interesting and the artwork is intense. This volume reminded me a little bit of Shaman King, but a lot more bad ass. It’s cool that the Stands all seem to have different powers, and I like the idea of the Stands in general.

I really do want to read more of this series. According to Goodreads there are only 16 volumes in the series. So perhaps this long series is split up into smaller, sub series, sort of like Saiyuki. I think I’ll give the 16 volumes a read and see how I feel at the end. Perhaps reading the different arks won’t matter. 16 is more manageable than 113. It gives me hope that I can fully explore this unique world without feeling completely overwhelmed.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: StarDust Crusaders manga exceeded my expectations. It included content that the anime omitted or modified, making it truly worthwhile to read even after watching the show. Whether it was changing the characters' dialogue or slightly altering their personalities, it added a new dimension to the story.

The protagonist of this part is Jotaro Kujo, the grandson of Joseph Joestar. We first encounter him in a prison cell, where it is said that he hospitalized four men without a scratch on himself. He chose to lock himself in the cell to prevent the so-called evil spirit from harming others. As it turns out, this evil spirit is actually a stand, a visual manifestation of a person's fighting spirit and mental strength. The Joestar bloodline gained this ability due to Dio taking over Jonathan Joestar's body and obtaining a stand of his own. Holly, Jotaro's mother, is a kind-hearted person who would never hurt a fly, making her unable to acquire a stand. Instead, it makes her incredibly ill, which prompts Joseph, Jotaro, Kakyoin, Avdol, and Polneraff to travel to Egypt and kill Dio to save Holly.

A common theme in these books is how the bonds we have with those around us will impact us in some way, even if we have never met them. Take Dio, for example. He took the body of Jonathan Joestar, technically connecting him to Jotaro and Joseph and pulling them into a family drama that should have ended almost a hundred years ago. Although none of the present-day Joestars had met Dio before fighting him, they had a connection to him where they could sense his presence and feel his negative intentions due to the Joestar blood flowing through them. Polnareff is searching for the man who killed his sister years ago to finally lay his guilt to rest. Avdul joins because of his friendship with Joseph before the adventure. All of these bonds brought these people together and ultimately defeated Dio once and for all. As Kakyoin is dying during the fight with Dio, we learn that he lived a lonely life because he couldn't find people with a stand like him. By joining the Stardust Crusaders, he finally formed friendships with people who understood him. He sacrifices himself to tell the others the ability of Dio's stand, leaving him bleeding out with a hole in his stomach. He may have died alone, but he spent his final fifty days with people he could call his friends.

Another theme or concept that can be drawn from this book is the definition of a good person. The main protagonist of the story is labeled as a delinquent by others due to his harsh words and overly aggressive actions towards others, but things are not always as they seem. His father is a famous musician who travels frequently, leaving Jotaro and Holly alone in a large house. With an absent father, he lacks a key parental figure in his life, and the one who is there doesn't discipline him. Holly is extremely kind, to the point where she will act cheerful when Jotaro calls her rude names. Jotaro does deeply care for his mother despite his actions, to the extent that he will travel around the world to kill a vampire with the most powerful stand in the world. He risks his life many times during their adventure to save the ones he loves without being told to. Even after Stardust Crusaders, he spends his life pushing his wife and child away so they don't get involved in the family drama. He continues to fight evil stand users to protect the ones he loves and random people. Another character whose nature is questionable is Kakyoin. Although he is more respectful and refined than Jotaro, he is more aggressive when fighting. Although Jotaro has harmed people and been petty about it, he has never killed anyone except Dio. I might be wrong, but Kakyion hasn't killed anyone either. He fights with the intention of killing, especially with the stand user who was a baby. He comments that he plans to kill him despite him being a child, which is quite drastic. His death scene is also very unique compared to everyone else in the group. When he dies, we don't see his spirit ascend into the clouds like all the other Stardust Crusaders. Even though he sacrificed himself for a woman he barely knew, he didn't make it to heaven. He may have been kind to those around him, but his moral compass may be the reason why he didn't quite make it to heaven.

Obviously, I would recommend Stardust Crusaders to those who have read the Jojo manga or watched the anime so they can appreciate the story even more. I would also recommend it to anyone looking for an unpredictable story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The fights in this book are not just about brute strength but also about the mental ability to outwit your opponent and make them believe they have lost. I wouldn't recommend this book to those who haven't seen or read the parts before part three. I also don't recommend it to those looking for a slice of life or romance novel because there is nothing like that in Stardust Crusaders. I don't think children under the age of twelve should be reading this because there is mature language used, at least in the translation I read, as well as mature situations. Besides that, I would highly recommend this series.

This series is truly a strange one, yet it is an excellent read nonetheless. It is the third part of the series.

The group, which consists of Jotaro Kujo, Kakyoin Noriaki, Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdul, and Jean Pierre Polneraff, embarks on a race to Egypt with the aim of stopping the malevolent vampire DIO.

They employ "stands", which are physical manifestations of psychological energy, to engage in their battles.

The story is filled with intense action, complex characters, and mind-bending plot twists. It keeps the reader on the edge of their seat from start to finish.

The concept of "stands" adds an interesting layer to the battles, as each character has their own unique stand with different abilities.

The interactions between the characters are also well-developed, and their relationships evolve throughout the story.

Overall, this series is a must-read for fans of action, adventure, and supernatural fiction. It offers a thrilling and engaging experience that will leave you wanting more.

I read this book as an independent reading novel for my English class.

Although I had already been exposed to JoJo's in the past through the show, this book provided me with a fresh perspective on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by allowing me to experience its origins.

Stardust Crusaders is arguably the most popular part of JoJo's among the masses, so I believed it would be an excellent part to read as an introduction to the JoJo's manga.

I would also like to clarify that I have watched the entire JoJo's series and am familiar with the plot, so I am not someone who skips parts.

As I read the beginning of Stardust Crusaders, I developed a profound appreciation for the JJBA source material.

The characters in this manga are well-developed, and I am aware that they continue to evolve in the future.

It is evident to me that David Productions had a challenging task ahead of them to create an adaptation that is on par with the original, yet they did an amazing job.

In my opinion, Hirohiko Araki is a literary genius, and his works are instant classics for those who enjoy this genre.

I definitely understand why anyone who experiences JJBA falls in love with it.

Suffice it to say, I adored this novel.

I would highly recommend reading it to anyone who has read or watched the previous parts.
