This volume is less interesting than the previous ones.

It slightly steps out of the fantastic atmosphere at the beginning to announce what Battle Tendency will be like.

I am less hooked.

Perhaps it's because the transition feels a bit abrupt.

The story seems to be moving in a different direction, and I'm not quite sure if I'm ready for this change.

The characters and their development also don't seem as engaging as before.

However, I still have hope that the following volumes will bring back the magic and excitement that made me fall in love with this series in the first place.

Maybe Battle Tendency will have its own unique charm that I haven't discovered yet.

I'll keep reading to find out.

2.5 - The reading is getting a bit tiring. The fights are not very pleasant mainly because the author's style is not the best.

Moreover, these half-mouthed villains are very unfunny. But I liked Zeppeli. I thought he was a cool character.

Maybe if the author could improve the way he portrays the fights and make the villains more interesting, the story would be more engaging.

As it is now, it feels like I'm just going through the motions. However, Zeppeli's presence does add a certain charm to the story.

His actions and personality make him stand out among the other characters. I hope to see more of him in the future.

Overall, the story has its flaws, but it also has some redeeming qualities. I'll continue reading to see if it gets better.

I don't think this author is particularly adept at drawing. There are several reasons for this.

First of all, most of the characters bear a striking resemblance to one another. This makes it extremely difficult for me to distinguish between them. I often find myself confused and unable to tell who is who.

Secondly, instead of clearly depicting the events through his drawings, the author relies on his characters, mostly Speedwagon, to explain what is happening. This takes away from the visual impact and storytelling potential of the illustrations.

Overall, these aspects lead me to believe that the author could improve his drawing skills.

This book is truly thrilling right up until the very end.

The development of the main character, Jonathan, is simply astounding. By the conclusion of the book, it is evident that he has transformed. From a young and spoiled boy who had everything he could possibly desire, he evolves into someone who has to fight for the little life he has left.

The antagonist in this story is amazing. It is extremely difficult to truly find a villain as evil as Dio. The things he did to achieve his goals were truly horrible. He is a true villain through and through.

The plot of the book was a bit strange, but it was a good kind of strange. By the time you finish the story, you hardly notice the weirdness of it all. You become so engrossed in the family feud between the two brothers that you don't even pay attention to the undead rising, the presence of vampires, and even Jack the Ripper!

If you are in search of something strange, yet brutal, to read, then I highly suggest this book. It is truly great, and even if you don't end up liking it, I am certain that it will remain in your mind for years to come.

Now that I have the Japanese edition, I'm going to see if at some point I dare to read it with a dictionary in hand. For the moment, it's less than probable, but without a doubt the memory of reading it is extremely pleasant for me.

Zeppeli is such an eccentric and wonderful character. His actions and words always bring a unique charm to the story. I can still vividly recall the scenes where he appears, his flamboyant personality shining through.

Although reading the Japanese edition might be a challenging task, the allure of experiencing the story in its original language is hard to resist. Maybe one day, with enough courage and determination, I'll take on this linguistic adventure and uncover the hidden nuances and details that only the original text can offer.

Until then, I'll continue to cherish the memories of reading about Zeppeli and look forward to the possibility of delving deeper into this captivating world.

JJBA Manga Read Through Progress:

I have been on an exciting journey reading the JJBA manga. So far, I have made significant progress.

On 19th February, I completed Part 1, Volume 1 which consists of Chapters 1 - 11. It was a great start, introducing me to the unique world and characters of JJBA.

Just a day later, on 20th February, I finished Part 1, Volume 2 with Chapters 12 - 17. The story continued to unfold, and I found myself more and more intrigued.

Two days after that, on 22nd February, I completed Part 1, Volume 3 which includes Chapters 18 - 27. The plot thickened, and there were many unexpected twists and turns.

Finally, on 25th February, I finished Part 1, Volume 4 with Chapters 28 - 37. This marked the end of the first part of my JJBA manga reading adventure. I can't wait to continue with the next part and see what more this amazing manga has in store for me.
