4 stars for the content.

However, I found a couple of things in it to be a bit dated nowadays.

Towards the end, I would rate it maybe 3.5 stars because I had the strange feeling that I was more in a studying mode than just reading for pleasure.

If that makes any sense? I think it might be due to the way the book was written and all the extremely detailed information it provided.

Maybe I should have taken a break and read another book in between to avoid saturating myself or getting too wound up.

But all in all, it was still a good book.

It had its flaws with the dated aspects and the slightly overwhelming amount of detail at times, but it also had a lot of valuable information and interesting concepts.

I'm glad I read it, even though it wasn't the most轻松的 read.

It definitely made me think and learn, which is always a good thing in a book.

I have read this book and indeed learned a considerable amount of valuable information from it. However, in the end, I had to give it up. The main reason is that the author seems to enjoy the process of writing too much, resulting in a rather high ratio of meandering to facts. This makes the reading experience not so pleasant.

Moreover, this book was published a couple of decades ago. In today's rapidly changing world, the information in it may have become somewhat outdated. If there is anyone who knows of a book on a similar topic that is both more current and more concise, I would be extremely grateful for the recommendation. I believe that a more updated and concise book would be able to provide me with more accurate and useful knowledge.

This book was recommended to me by a co-worker who is a real dog lover and understander.

It offers truly remarkable insights into what drives dogs' behavior. It has been extremely beneficial in helping me gain a better understanding of how to love and interact with our two dogs.

For example, did you know that dogs do have the ability to see in color? In fact, the colors they can perceive most clearly are green and yellow. However, they do encounter difficulties in differentiating between certain things. So, if you throw a green ball onto a green lawn, it is highly likely to get lost.

The book contains this interesting fact and hundreds of other explanations related to dogs that are well worth reading. It provides a wealth of knowledge that can enhance our relationship with our furry friends and make our interactions with them even more enjoyable and fulfilling.

Whether you are a new dog owner or have had dogs for a long time, this book is sure to offer valuable information and perspectives that you may not have considered before.

The original article seems a bit unclear. But let's assume it's something like "The weather is nice today. I went for a walk in the park." Here's the expanded version:

The weather today is absolutely wonderful. The sun is shining brightly in the sky, and there is a gentle breeze blowing. It's the kind of day that makes you feel alive and full of energy. I decided to take advantage of this beautiful weather and went for a walk in the park. As I walked, I noticed the colorful flowers blooming everywhere. The grass was green and lush, and it felt soft under my feet. There were also many people in the park, enjoying the day. Some were having picnics, while others were playing games or just sitting and chatting. It was a really pleasant and relaxing experience.

If this isn't what you were looking for, please provide more specific details about the original article so that I can better assist you.

I am glad that I read this article. It contains some interesting information about the sensory perception of dogs that I have not encountered before, not even during my time in vet school. This new knowledge is valuable and I am happy to have it in my repertoire.

However, there is an issue with the article. The discussion of dominance and submissiveness seems to have an undue influence. This does not align with our current understanding of how dogs truly interact with each other and with us. I am concerned that this could mislead owners and encourage them to use training methods that would actually be counterproductive.

Overall, while I am glad to have read the article, it does not make it to the top of my list. I would not recommend it to my clients as it may contain inaccurate or potentially harmful information.

This was truly fascinating!

It has given me a newfound understanding of my dogs' perspectives. I now realize that I can't simply assume they see the world in the same way I do.

The fact that we are able to co-exist and form such strong bonds domestically is nothing short of a miracle.

Our differences in perception make our relationship even more special.

By trying to understand their point of view, I can better meet their needs and provide them with a more fulfilling life.

This new awareness has deepened my appreciation for the unique connection we share with our canine companions.

It's a reminder that there is so much more to our pets than meets the eye, and that by taking the time to truly understand them, we can enhance our relationship and create a more harmonious living environment.

I look forward to continuing to explore and learn about my dogs' world, and to seeing how this new understanding will impact our lives together.

I can definitely say that I have a much deeper understanding of dogs now than before. Reading this comprehensive book has provided me with an abundance of knowledge regarding the psychology of our human's best friend. It's truly eye-opening.

The only drawback of this substantial book is its length. I believe the author could have omitted quite a few details, such as those related to all the scientific studies. After all, it's not an academic textbook, right?

However, aside from that, I really appreciate the rigor with which the book is written and the humorous notes scattered throughout. It makes the reading experience not only educational but also enjoyable. I would highly recommend this book, especially for dog owners. It will surely enhance your relationship with your furry companions and give you a new perspective on their behavior and needs.

"知己知彼,百战不殆" is a famous Chinese military strategy. It means that in order to succeed in a battle or any situation, one must have a good understanding of both oneself and the opponent.

This principle can be applied in many aspects of life. For example, in business, if a company wants to outperform its competitors, it needs to know its own strengths and weaknesses, as well as the market trends and the strategies of its rivals.

In personal relationships, understanding the other person's personality, interests, and needs can help build better communication and stronger bonds.

Similarly, in learning, knowing one's own learning style and the requirements of the subject can improve the learning efficiency.

In conclusion, "知己知彼,百战不殆" is a valuable principle that can guide us in various aspects of life. By having a clear understanding of ourselves and others, we can make more informed decisions and increase our chances of success.

"汪汪汪汪" seems to be an onomatopoeia for a dog's barking and doesn't really fit into the context of this expansion. If it was just added for fun or as a random element, it can be left as is, but it doesn't have a direct connection to the main idea of the rewritten article.

Though dry at some points, Stanley Coren's "How Dogs Think" is truly a fascinating book. It is an absolute necessity for any aspiring dog trainer, as it provides in-depth insights into the canine mind. At the same time, it also holds great interest for the average dog owner. Coren clearly has a profound understanding of canine psychology, which is evident throughout the book. However, it must be noted that at certain junctures, his knowledge and assumptions can seem a bit questionable. This might lead some readers to pause and reflect. Nevertheless, despite these minor drawbacks, "How Dogs Think" has a wealth of valuable information to offer for the casual dog owner. It can help them better understand their furry friends, their behaviors, and their needs. In conclusion, this book is a must-read for anyone with an interest in dogs.

Though I had the privilege of reading the updated 2017 version of this book,

it is important to note that there are still some data sparse areas. Additionally, the research in the field of dog psychology, personality, and behavior has changed significantly in the past decade. However, despite these limitations,

this book remains an informative and concise resource. It provides valuable insights into the fascinating world of dogs, covering various aspects such as their cognitive abilities, emotional responses, and social behaviors.

The author has done a great job of presenting complex concepts in an accessible manner, making it suitable for both dog owners and enthusiasts. Overall,

this book is a worthwhile read for anyone interested in understanding the inner workings of our canine companions.
