Some good motivational stories. Some good explanations about why women lose weight differently in different phases of their lives. However, this diet is a hard-core commitment. Not what I'm looking for.

Awesome book! Great detailed information. Even has a section that has a list of calories burned per minute while doing various cardio activity - including those you do while gardening. An entire exercise guide - including pictures and tips. This is the best book I've found yet.

Inspiring and potentially life-changing (not to mention life-extending). A challenging, but apparently do-able approach to better health (impressive before/after photos). Written by a medical doctor, which lends a certain amount of credence. Set up in 12-week segments, which gives me confidence that I can persevere. Giving it 5 stars because I am ready to do this!

I don't remember much about this book. It didn't seem to merit a separate book from the Body for Life original.

The ssecond best fitness and nutrition book for women, it covers a healthy eating plan you only have to follow 80 percent of the time; a fitness routine; and the changes to a woman's body at various milestones in her life. A good book to buy when you're young too.

My obstetrician told me I should read this book. I was asking her about how to generally maintain health and fitness as I age. She said if there is one book I could buy on these topics, this is it.. It is sensible, not overwhelming, practical and well-researched. It applies to women of all ages.
