Mother by Maxim Gorky is a profound and influential work of literature.

This novel delves deep into the lives and struggles of the working class. It vividly描绘s the harsh realities they face, including poverty, exploitation, and social injustice.

The character of the mother in the story is a symbol of strength and resilience. She overcomes numerous obstacles and hardships, yet still manages to maintain her dignity and humanity.

Maxim Gorky's writing style is engaging and powerful, drawing the reader in and making them feel as if they are a part of the story.

Overall, Mother is a must-read for anyone interested in understanding the human condition and the power of the human spirit.

Time and a person's age can have a significant impact on their perception and evaluation of a book. My judgment of this book, which I read in my youth during the turmoil of the revolution, might have been a four or five-star rating at that time. However, now it may not even deserve a two-star rating. But perhaps the influence of that era still lingers, causing it to receive a three-star rating. Now I think, as I haven't mentioned before, that the Pahlavi government made a big mistake by not publishing thousands of books of this kind. There has always been a conflict between different ideas and the criticism of the sanctity and mysteries of religions and books... Therefore, the best way is to promote ideas and avoid censorship...

The book is just a manifesto.

It is a long slogan.

It is very monotonous, simple and of course tiring.

It lacks the depth and complexity that one would expect from a truly engaging piece of literature.

The ideas presented are one-sided and fail to consider other perspectives.

As a result, the book comes across as rather dull and uninteresting.

It may have been intended to make a statement, but it does so in a way that is unappealing to the reader.

Perhaps with some revisions and a more nuanced approach, the book could have been more successful.

However, in its current form, it leaves much to be desired.

Russian literature, although it may seem lofty, is highly human. When I say human, I mean that it is a literature that descends from the palaces of the wealthy, leaving their opulent feasts for the streets, alleys, and old neighborhoods to illuminate the sorrows of the oppressed poor. It finds in their meager fare only a crust of dry bread, yet discovers the utmost purpose and the reason for its existence...

Maxim Gorky - although he is not a follower of Dostoyevsky or Chekhov - and sometimes makes you feel disgusted and bored in some of his chapters.

However, he has his own unique style and distinct character. He can draw you into ordinary and dull conversations among the characters and then shine his thought in a simple expression that remains sublime...

In this novel, Gorky looks at his socialist ideas against the overbearing autocracy.

He calls for the rights of the workers, justice, and freedom of speech.

He denounces tyranny, injustice, and poverty.

He bets on the will of the people.

And here, the mother is none other than Russia, the simple, ignorant, and affectionate Russia towards all her children.

Russia, the suffering and strangled by the autocratic rule...

Before reading this novel, I thought to myself how some of the revolutionaries in our own revolution acted blindly in some cases, and despite their high taste and extensive reading, they made hasty and incorrect choices in some situations.

However, after reading the novel, I understood that when these people selected a goal and wholeheartedly believed in it, nothing else mattered to them anymore. Even marriage and family were secondary priorities for them, and they only pursued the goal.

Their unwavering dedication and single-minded focus on the goal were truly remarkable. It made me realize that in the face of a great cause, people can make sacrifices and overcome many obstacles.

This novel has given me a new perspective on the revolutionaries and their actions, and has deepened my understanding of the historical context and the people who lived through it.

When I bought "Mother" by Maksim Gorky, I didn't know much about it except that it was one of the important classics of Russian literature and it was about a well-known mother who lost her son to the police. So my imagination of it was that it was a very boring novel. Although I bought it, the plan to read it remained postponed and it stayed in the bookshelf waiting. Other books came and I read them, but it still remained in its place. I would look at it, at the picture on the cover and the black color surrounding it, and say to it "not now".

I also had another imagination that postponed reading it, which was that Maksim Gorky's style would be heavy and with a novel of this size (591 pages), it would be difficult to read. Also, it contains a political part and I hate political discussions. So when I read a novel filled with important discussions without feeling bored, I inclined towards the author and raised my hat to the novel with respect

It is like reading a historical source, plausible, but always pamphletary. It serves as such, but also as an extremely powerful literary document, for the era it depicts (Russia in the early 20th century), but also for the force it transmitted to subsequent generations, who were also agents of History.

This work offers a unique perspective on a crucial period in Russian history. The details and descriptions bring to life the social, political, and cultural context of the time.

Moreover, its influence on future generations cannot be underestimated. It has inspired countless individuals to engage with history, to question the status quo, and to strive for change.

In conclusion, this literary document is not only a valuable source of historical information but also a powerful inspiration for those who seek to understand the past and shape the future.

Endri's words have cut deeper than Pavel's.

I have been seeing since that childhood that if you do something good in class, you will be given a book as a gift. There was always a thought in my mind that surely there would be some book. But I couldn't understand even a single word that this is a book written about the social system!

"The mother is the homeland... and when the mother rebels, the whole homeland will rebel..." "Hayya" is a model of the mother according to Ahmed Fouad Negm. This mother who has been silent for decades and now sings revolution and change in the field of liberation... The mother is the homeland... and Hayya will not rest after today... Regarding the novel, perhaps it is the most important thing that Maxim Gorky has written in general and the most important thing written within the school of socialist realism that Gorky himself founded. It is the novel of transformation... the political and social revolutionary transformation that Russia witnessed with the socialist revolution and the literary transformation that was established or resulted from that. Therefore, every lover of Russian literature must read it.

The novel I have is from the edition of Dar al-Taqaddum in Russia and with the translation of lawyer Sehil Ayyoub and his brother, and they do not need a certificate to prove the quality of their translation.

The story is beautiful, but perhaps because the era of revolutions, socialism, and workers' rights has ended, it didn't reach me as it should.

Certainly, it was a transfer of the life of the workers, the strugglers, and the love of the mother. But the world has changed, and capitalism rules now.

The mother transformed from a simple human being to a revolutionary struggler, with the motives of love and her contribution to igniting the flames of the revolution, first with her love and then with her commitment to the rights of the weak.

In general, it is a documentation of what was, and surely it will reach more those who lived through those events.

This fear is truly what has the potential to be the ruin of us all. It lurks within us, ready to strike at any moment. And there are those who seek to dominate us, cleverly exploiting our very fear and using it to frighten us even more. Mark this well: as long as people remain in the grip of fear, they will wither and decay just like the birches that stand in the marsh, slowly losing their vitality and strength. But we must not let this happen. We must find the courage within ourselves to grow bold. The time has come for us to rise above our fears and take control of our lives. We cannot afford to be held back any longer by the shackles of fear. It is time to break free and embrace a new era of confidence and strength.

Book Mother, the work of Maxim Gorky, not only expresses the feelings and love of a mother for her child, but in fact, it was also an opportunity for Mr. Gorky to repeatedly express his ideals and the ideal society through the words of different characters in the story. In fact, Mr. Gorky, who was a well-known opponent of the Romanov dynasty and the tsarist regime, in this book, dealt with how to fight in a village and among the factory workers. How the workers spread socialist ideas and were so professional in this work that the character of the mother, who was initially a symbol of an ignorant rural woman, reaches the position of a leader with knowledge in the middle of the story! How cruel the tsarist officials were and how the landowners were irrational and unreasonable people. In general, it has a one-sided and partial view of the tsarist regime, and the author is not impartial. This view of Mr. Gorky has turned the book into a special and flashy but empty work. Comrade Gorky was actually a friend and ally of famous Soviet revolutionaries like Lenin and Stalin, and he had put his pen at the disposal of a regime that was as cruel as children's play in terms of the cruelty of the tsarists towards them. Mr. Gorky, during the Stalin era, saw a huge project of building a canal in the Baltic Sea that was being carried out by Gulag prisoners and proudly said that "not a single prisoner has been killed in this project", while up to 25,000 people have been killed only in this project due to cold and hunger. The combination of these factors has turned the book Mother into a clean word that comes out of a dirty and vulgar mouth.
