Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, may Allah have mercy on him, used to say:

He who knows that the Almighty God created the universe from nothing, and that He created the soul from a drop of semen, and that the soul is not created from a soul, should know that the matter is very simple..

He should not be misled by the word "evolution", and he should not be confused by the saying of some people:

"Is the universe eternal?.. Or was it created?"..

In fact, the matter is very clear, and there is no room for doubt or confusion..

And he should not be misled by the word "evolution" again..

After all, science, and the available evidence from the universe, clearly indicates that it was created in a very short time, and that it is constantly expanding and changing..

In the end, the matter is very simple, and we should not complicate it..

The wise man, who fears Allah and loves His Messenger, should know that the universe was created by Allah, and that He is the only Creator and Sustainer..

And he should know that the religion of Islam is the true religion, and that it is the only way to salvation and eternal happiness..

The story of "Adam" and "Eve" is a historical fact, and it is a lesson for us all, that we should follow the commands of Allah and His Messenger, and that we should not deviate from the right path..

And we should not be misled by the word "modern science"..

We should benefit from science, but we should not let it mislead us, and we should always remember that Allah is the Creator of everything, and that He is the only one who knows the truth..

We should believe in Allah, and we should follow His Messenger, and we should do good deeds, and we should avoid evil..

This is the message of Islam, and it is the message that we should convey to the whole world..

What do you think? ❤

I have a profound interest in socialism and its literary history. However, this particular book failed to capture my liking. I had anticipated a captivating portrayal of human suffering and exploitation, or perhaps a persuasive argument in defense of the working class's organized political action.

The book does focus on the class struggle in tsarist Russia, yet the narrative leaves much to be desired. The characters, who are mostly intended to symbolize the working class, come across in the dialogue as if they are perpetually on a soapbox, spouting bombastic speeches.

Their flamboyant and exaggerated language is not only unrealistic but also repetitive and tiresome. It detracts from the overall impact of the story and makes it difficult for the reader to engage with the characters and their struggles on a deeper level.

A great novel, by Maxim Gorky, the prophet. The novel was published in 1906, and similar events occurred later in 1917, the Russian socialist revolution, the workers' revolution against oppression, exploitation, and tyranny.

The story begins by presenting life at that time. The father or the absolute man had control over the wife and the home. This control was passed on to the son, who would become the ruler over his mother or sister. Women could hardly be heard. The dullness, dirtiness, and other characteristics resulting from the oppression of this class in work were transferred by them to what was under their control, the home, through beating, shouting, or swearing.

Then a group of young, awakened people of both genders, who were longing for revolution, rebellion, and the improvement of the situation to obtain rights and a noble life, was formed. It was led by the mother's son, Pavel. The mother gradually approached them until she became one of them, especially after her son's imprisonment. Then the group's leaflets were distributed among the workers.

The story, the novel, continues. Pavel is imprisoned, along with some of his comrades, and the mother leads what her son started. Gorky delves into the social situation, the conversations, the living conditions, and their way of thinking, whether they are hopeful, fearful, or hesitant. In novels like this, because you will find what it says about it. This is a great, heroic novel. In novels like this, you will feel that one of its heroes will die at any moment. The choice in my mind was between Pavel and his mother, and one of them died in the end, an unjust death for the one in the right. But he succeeded in delivering what had to be delivered. Freedom is the goal.

The mother here is a legend.

Mother
Maxim Gorky's Work

.
In this article, I intend to talk about this book in two parts. The first part is an introduction to the book, and the second part is a critique of it.
.
Part One:
This book is a work by Maxim Gorky, one of the greatest writers of the socialist realist school. It tells the story of the life of a working-class people oppressed by autocracy in Tsarist Russia. The Russia where Pavel Vlasov's mother lives seems to be a symbol of the suffering Russia, and her motherhood represents all the mothers in the world who witness the pain and suffering of their children.
The events in the book take place around the beginning of the 20th century or the end of the 19th century. The Tsarist Russian government oppresses the people with tyranny and autocracy, and exploits the workers and peasants to obtain more wealth. If anyone protests for their rights, they will be quickly suppressed by force. It is a model of a totalitarian, tyrannical, and autocratic government!
The book has a slow rhythm, and except for the beginning and the end, which are similar to each other, and the ending part is about the trial of the protesters, which creates a bit of a downward pull.
It is full of beautiful and powerful sentences from the mouths of individuals who have rebelled in pursuit of freedom from the chains of tyranny. It can be boldly said that some of the sentences and dialogues in the book may have a high level in the pursuit of rights.
If you want to understand the social space of that time, the living conditions of the people at that time, and the growth of socialism and communism in Russia, you can read this book and enjoy it..
Part Two:
.
Regarding the critique of this book, I can say that it was a book full of beautiful and revolutionary slogans, full of pain and suffering, and a desire to fight against autocracy. But it was just slogans to strengthen an ideology that is deadly and dangerous!
In this book, we can read dangerous sentences from the militants of this party. Socialism in Russia took root in such a way that it allowed even their own children to sacrifice themselves and lead themselves to destruction for the interests of the party and their comrades. This ideology gave itself the right to achieve the goals of the party, even if it meant terror and massacre. And only the interests of the majority were considered more important than the interests of the individual (those who have read Orwell's 1984 can understand this space).
In fact, the book was an encouragement to achieve an ideology, but it also claimed democracy. While it knew the absolute truth from a party. As Comrade Mao said: (Those who claim to know everything and can do everything will eventually come to the conclusion that everyone must be killed!).
.
This book shows that mothers should sacrifice their children to achieve the goals of the party, and there is no problem with the killing of people for the interests of socialism..

Ashkan Fadayi, a guerrilla fighter, said in a song: I remember that the son of a martyr is the key to heaven!
Exactly, I remembered this part.
Exactly, all dangerous parties have such views that they teach that for the interests of power-hungry revolutionaries, blood must be sacrificed, even if it involves massacre!
Mao also said elsewhere:
Historical thoughts simply came to say that being is doing. Our revolution is to obtain a new being that must be created in action and outside of any moral rules!
Therefore, this revolution is condemned to live only for history and accompanied by terror.
.
Exactly, the growth of socialism in Russia, which was quoting sentences from Marxists, Nietzsche, and Hegel to explain and prove the correctness and justice of their views, was based on this foundation.
They chose the rebels according to Mao's words.
Because the capitalists sucked their blood and tortured them. They had the right to rebel. But on the other hand, after denying and rejecting the existence of God, they also denied themselves, and an example of this was the massacres in the Soviet Union from the 1930s to the 1940s..
.
They fought for freedom, but wherever freedom grew, the powerful freely took power until injustice spread (Mao), and they considered justice as equality. While equality, in their interpretation, also meant the equality of beliefs, and this means killing the spirit of democracy and freedom of expression, which we witnessed in the Soviet Union until 1989! When Stalin came to power, he began to value Gorky because Gorky was good at building a beautiful facade on the swamps and handing over literature to them politically and contaminated.
To the extent that
His denial that the project to rebuild the White Sea-Baltic Canal did not result in the death of even one prisoner, based on multiple evidence indicating the death of thousands of prisoners who froze to death not only at night but even in the middle of the day due to lack of sufficient food and shelter, was called into question.
.
When literature is used for autocracy to help its growth, it is contaminated and we must recognize it and oppose its contaminations!
.
Finally, it is difficult to say what Mao said:
The rebel, if his actions are based on logic, may want a certain kind of freedom for himself, but he does not want to lose the freedom and being of others at all costs!

This is a catechism that Lenin obviously approved.

I don't have the patience to move forward because I don't like anything. An illiterate mother, who was beaten left and right by a drunken husband, becomes the symbol of the proletarian revolution. There are only martyrs around her, in the struggle for a classless world.

Lenin "comfortably" rewarded the author of this work. Fortunately, therefore.

Lenin's approval of this catechism shows his recognition of the importance of certain ideas and symbols in the revolutionary cause. The story of the illiterate mother beaten by her drunken husband represents the hardships and struggles of the working class. By making her a symbol of the proletarian revolution, it emphasizes the need for change and the fight against oppression.

The presence of martyrs around her further highlights the sacrifices made in the pursuit of a classless world. Their dedication and courage inspire others to join the struggle.

Lenin's reward to the author can be seen as an encouragement and a way to promote the spread of revolutionary ideas. It shows that those who contribute to the cause are valued and recognized.

In conclusion, this catechism plays an important role in the context of the proletarian revolution, and Lenin's actions towards it reflect his leadership and vision.

“The less a person knows, the more peacefully he sleeps...”

5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This year, Maksim Gorky was definitely one of the writers whose works I wanted to read. I had heard his name quite often in world literature, and I was very eager to read any of his books. His main book takes as its theme the revolutionary struggle that the Russian proletariat waged against Tsarist Russia before the 1905 revolution. As his son Pavel becomes a resolute revolutionary, his mother also begins to walk in his footsteps. After her son is arrested due to many events, she takes her first step on this path by distributing brochures to the workers. Throughout the book, we witness characters who never turn back from their path, who incorporate this into their lives as a way of life, who never give up fighting, and who leave behind their parents who are in a very good situation on this path. As the mother follows in her son's footsteps, the meaning of life also changes for her, and the people around her also begin to realize this. It was a very impressive book, and its last pages were full of emotion and meaning. It is definitely a work that every reader should pick up and read. I will also give priority to other works by the author in the near future. I wish you all happy readings.

The holy place is not left empty. It is a place where God exists within us and is dedicated. And if God departs from the spirit of man, a wound is produced.

Paul must create a new faith. He must find a God who is just towards all. A God who is not a judge and a warrior but a lover of mankind.

Everyone must understand that no one else will come to our aid except us if we want to defeat the enemy. Our faith must be that everyone is for everyone and everyone is for each one.

This new faith should guide us in our actions and interactions. It should make us more compassionate, more understanding, and more willing to help others. With this faith, we can build a better world, a world where justice and love prevail.

When reading this book, I always felt like this;

"Left for Non-Socialists"

"Left: Beginner Level"

"Introduction to the Left 1"

as if it were such a textbook

For "Advanced Left", see "The Iron Heel; Jack London"

There is a woman. She is living with her son who is stepping from childhood years into adolescence. Her husband has died.

The son is a worker like almost the whole of the town.

And so, this son becomes a socialist.

Together with his friends, they begin to secretly organize the peasants.

Of course, their actions and demonstrations lead to their arrest. They remain in prison for a long time. And afterwards, they are sentenced to exile in Siberia.

The mother, on the other hand, supports them during all these struggles of her son and his friends. Thanks to this ignorant, illiterate peasant woman, they rise from beneath the most impossible tasks.

Of course, here Gorky means, I think

"Mothers, peasants, the poor left behind, oppressed, despised people. I am addressing you. You are not nobody. You are not insignificant. On the contrary, you are the most important people in our struggle for freedom. If you are the ones carrying the exploiting bourgeoisie on your backs. Shake them off your backs like a horse shakes off a burden."

Alas, I am very, very late in reading it. I should have read it in high school.

This book is clearly intended as a pamphlet for socialism, and it succeeds with great enthusiasm. If you are not convinced of the ideology after reading this book, then you are a hopeless case for the matter. In itself, it is also remarkable as a historical document because the book preceded the communist regime, and Gorky, at the time he wrote this book, did not yet know how badly things could go wrong with this ideology.

For these reasons, this is therefore an essential book.

Now, apart from these ideas, the book itself is actually much too long and there is too much repetition. The plot is constantly described as the mother who is gradually convinced by the ideology of her son (and then takes over his role), but personally I thought she was convinced fairly quickly, and then the bulk of the book still has to follow.

Finally, I constantly imagined an old grey-haired woman, marked by life, when thinking of "the mother" (as she is also treated or addressed by everyone). I was greatly surprised when it was casually mentioned somewhere that she was 40 years old. She is only a few years older than me!

OK, those living conditions of those workers were something, but the confrontation with your own age, that was really hard.

The mother, a title that might imply to you that it safeguards the story of a mother's struggle and her efforts in raising her children. But here we see something different, which is how this mother becomes a fighter in the line of her son and his comrades.

Our mother, the hero we get to know through the harshness of her husband in the beginning of the book. Then the events change and her son becomes that hero who is one of the leaders of the socialist party, those workers who defend the rights of the people and those who are against harshness and violence against everyone.

How does that mother change from an ordinary personality with no value to that fighting mother who defends all the innocent people and is not afraid of the soldiers and others.

And it seems that here the story of this mother reminds me of the stories of mothers who fought for their sons in their struggle against tyranny, both in that time and in our time and in every place around the world.

And the mother doesn't just mean a mother only, but she is a mother in its entirety and how this society is misled and knows the truth and becomes a defender of it after being afraid of it or not believing in it.

In the introduction, it was mentioned that this book, alongside the great works of Russia, seems superficial. However, my opinion is different.

This book is so touching and sincere that one can feel it with all one's being. The mother of this book is not a symbol. The mother of this book is a way of life.

A way in which we look at our society and the world maternally and sacrifice our precious possessions for it in order to reach a dream that perhaps we ourselves will not witness and that belongs to future generations.

This book teaches us the importance of love, sacrifice, and looking beyond our own selves. It shows us that there are greater things in life than just our personal desires and ambitions.

It makes us realize that we are all part of a bigger picture and that our actions today can have a profound impact on the future.

In conclusion, this book is not just a piece of literature, but a source of inspiration and a guide to a better way of life.
