It's one of the best books I've ever read, and it's also one of the most memorable. Everyone should read it at least once. The realistic presentation in the book is truly remarkable. It vividly描绘s the events and scenes, making the readers feel as if they are right there in the story. The firm characters are another highlight. Each character has his or her own unique personality and traits, and they are all well-developed. The background of the Russian Revolution provides a rich and complex context for the story, adding depth and significance to it. Overall, the book is simply amazing. It not only tells a great story but also offers valuable insights into history, society, and human nature. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves reading.
I have not seen an effort in understanding the ideas, personality, and behavior of the mother. Instead, she has provided justifications for her examples. Those who find that the emotions and tenderness are a shared property and a renewable source that all the virtuous and aspiring ones... and the rebels who desire change for the better can draw from. For all of them are her children, and her heart is open to all of them. And if it is expected that the mother would call out to her children, except that with this mother, it pleases her to call out (the comrades).
Perhaps the mother did not have a great impact on Ivan, the son. So Ivan will remain Ivan. But it is the mother who has been affected to the extent that she has a new personality and spirit, and it is she who sacrifices in the end.
- There is no doubt that I am not the only one who has returned to life and started anew!
- A little attention is enough to make me a happy man. I know that you are guilty towards me. You have a big heart that is open to the love of all people! 119
- And perhaps I do not fully understand your affairs, but all of you are dear to me. And I truly feel sorry for all of you, and I want all of you without exception to be happy.
- How can you separate yourself from others when you love this one and that one, and you are afraid for all of them... and you inherit for all of them... all of them gather together in your heart... how can you separate yourself from them?
It is not uncommon that there are parents who come under the influence of their children's beliefs and thoughts and go along with them. This phenomenon can occur for various reasons. Maybe the children have presented new and compelling ideas that the parents find themselves drawn to. Or perhaps the parents have a great deal of respect for their children's opinions and are willing to consider them seriously. In some cases, the parents may even feel that their children have a better understanding of certain aspects of life and are therefore inclined to follow their lead. However, it is important to note that while it is okay for parents to be open to their children's views, they should also maintain their own individuality and not simply blindly follow. After all, parents have their own life experiences and wisdom that can also be valuable.
Ana is centered around the social events at the very beginning of the process until the overthrow of the Tsarist regime, that is, during the times when the seeds of the Russian socialist revolution were sown. The novel, inspired by real events and written by Gorky, a forerunner of the socialist-realist trend, tells the story of a peasant woman who has been oppressed and trapped in poverty and ignorance throughout her life. She first develops empathy with her son's socialist struggle, opens her eyes, and then follows in his footsteps and transforms into a revolutionary.
Considering that Gorky was one of the most active socialist activists and intellectuals before the revolution, the reason for the propagandist structure of the novel is easily understood. Moreover, although we see that the novel represents a realist approach, we encounter many scenes where socialism is overly romanticized and dramatized. For example, in my opinion, the fact that many of the characters who have dedicated their lives to this cause believe that they have participated in a universal struggle before they are even capable of creating a positive change in their own immediate environment further contributes to this romanticism. For instance, we witness the chaotic and disorderly life of Nikolay and his constant dumping of these simple personal matters onto Ana (Nilovna Vlasova), Sofia's habit of carelessly extinguishing the spirit lamp that will harm her in the flower pot, and Sasha's severing of his relationship with his wealthy landowner tyrant father when he is about to fight against him and setting out to save the world. Of course, Gorky deliberately weaves these parts to actually try to distinguish the sincerity of those who romantically attach their hearts to an ideology with those who have truly experienced the lack and pain to the core of their beings, and is only saying that only pure and sincere people like Ana who have suffered the blows themselves can embrace such a struggle.
The novel, when looking at the Russian socialist revolution from a broad perspective, proves how different the beginning and the end are, and tells how the whole struggle initially emerged so innocently from human needs and was actually a rebellion against inequality, exploitation, and injustice. However, the revolution that took place approximately 12 years after the events in the book and its aftermath did not occur as Gorky had imagined at all, and moreover, it caused many other destructions and tragedies. Indeed, when we read Gorky's life, we see that although they were initially on the same path, he constantly criticized the revolutionary understandings of names like Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin, and did not stand on the same ground as them either politically or philosophically.
In conclusion, this novel, which tells the first footsteps of an ideology that has shaped the world in one way or another and influenced the masses, must definitely be read.
One of the most beautiful literary works that is meaningful through its main idea of the people's will against the authoritarian and dictatorial thought... This novel was written after the first Bolshevik Revolution and before its second revolution, and it is the origin of the continuation of the Leninist thought, whose incubator was that great state called the Soviet Union, which, along with the United States, became the most powerful in the world.
A masterpiece of Russian literature that was written in 1906 AD by the pen of the Russian writer and political activist "Maxim Gorky", where the novel "Mother" is the most important thing he wrote in general.
In Maxim's novel, there is a wonderful embodiment of the unity of the peoples and the extent of the influential cultural impact on the structure of society through the overthrow of the terrorist power and the hegemony of the bourgeois classes over the impoverished working class in order to hoard the icons of luxury against the poverty and hunger that the majority endures.
An important highlighting of the role of the mother and the idea of a special role for the heroine of the novel that the author crafted with skill that is not matched by his other heroes... One of the most beautiful things written in Russian political literature.
