This is truly an outstanding thriller.

James Patterson, without a doubt, is an incredibly talented author. His ability to craft a story that keeps readers on the edge of their seats is truly remarkable.

The way he weaves together the plot, creates complex characters, and builds suspense is a masterclass in thriller writing.

Every page is filled with excitement and anticipation, making it impossible to put the book down.

Well done, James Patterson! You have once again delivered a thrilling masterpiece that will leave readers clamoring for more.

This book is a must-read for any fan of the thriller genre.

So this is the guy who is the top-earning author of 2015, completely dwarfing all his competitors? Well, now. I'm not going to say that it is absolute bullshit (even though I cannot confirm or deny that I might or might not be thinking exactly that). But certainly, I'm going to be extremely vocal about not understanding why and how this happened, but mostly, just why.

Yes, this book was indeed a page-turner. The fact that the chapters consisted of only 2-3 pages and there were times when a page was left empty except for a couple of lines up top did not seem to impede that. And yes, it had been a quite decent story. But aside from that? The characters were as flat as cardboard, there was a lot of unnecessary chit-chat which, I assume, was used as a filler for those half-empty pages. The unlikely ending, combined with the stupid behavior of those cardboard characters (what a surprise!), really left me unimpressed. In the future, I will definitely have serious doubts about reading anything else that Patterson wrote.

Don't get me wrong, this book is not terrible. It's just that it is so incredibly typical, full of cliches and completely unoriginal. It's really only good to read if you have nothing better to do and want to waste some time. Meh, even though I sort of liked it anyway.

I happened to pick up this book in the resort library as I had unfortunately forgotten to pack a really good-quality book. Well, to be honest, I did manage to finish it, but that was mainly because I simply didn't have a whole lot of other options available to me. It was a rather quick and easy read, but to be frank, it really left nothing of substance to talk about.

If you're the kind of person who enjoys reading sex scenes, then yes, there are a few in this book. However, when it comes to mystery, suspense, or really anything that would make the story more engaging and captivating, it was severely lacking.

On the bright side, this whole experience with this book has definitely made me remember to always pack a proper book next time I go on a trip. At least then I won't have to resort to reading something that doesn't really satisfy my literary cravings.

James Patterson has done it again!

I don't know what kind of magic this is that makes me read James' books in a flash, but I'm not interested in knowing because this only proves what an excellent writer he is!

Some say that his writing is simple and basic, but I can't understand what's wrong with that. If I want to read fancy words, I'll go to the classics and not to today's bestsellers.

Regarding the book: I adored O'Hara and would like to read more about him, but with the Cross and Private collections, James already has a lot of work when it comes to writing.

Nora is a fantastic yet horrible character: her strategy is very clever, and it takes a lot of skill to keep her identity as mysterious as possible. Her death is so ironic and so deserved.

I'm grateful to the book fair for having this book at a very nice price, my wallet is much happier this way!

A book that has truly blown my mind away is this one.

The plot revolves around the mysterious death of multiple millionaires in New York City.

Surprisingly, all the victims are romantically involved with Nora Sinclair.

The question that lingers is whether she is innocent or a murderer.

John O'Hara decides to solve the mystery surrounding the deaths and uncover the real face of Nora.

This is one of the finest thrillers that I have read this year. James Patterson perfectly manages the pacing till the end, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat.

If you are a crime thriller fan, this one is definitely a must-read.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5.

Like any James Patterson book, it was fast-paced and read quickly.

However, similar to many of his works, "Honeymoon" was rife with half-baked plot twists. The plot developments were needlessly turned into twists, and there were just strange narrative decisions throughout.

If the book had been more straightforward, perhaps I would have enjoyed it more. Instead, Patterson treats every single event in the book as a soap opera-style twist before the commercial break. I was constantly waiting for the musical stings at the end of each chapter. Instead, I found myself confused about some of the twists and their significance. In fact, I'm still perplexed about the point of the subplot regarding a briefcase and a large amount of money that has little to no relevance to the main plot at all.

In conclusion, this might be the book that makes me completely lose interest in James Patterson. It's a waste of time and effort. Don't bother reading it unless you are a die-hard James Patterson completionist (and I don't know how you can subject yourself to that and still consider yourself a serious reader).

I really didn't think that I was going to like this as much as I did.

After all, it is a book targeted at adults and of the crime-thriller genre. However, to my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Lately, I've been making an effort to step out of my comfort zone and read a more diverse range of materials. And this book happened to be the perfect starting point for that journey.

I'm filled with excitement as I anticipate all the other wonderful discoveries that I'm bound to make along the way.

I can't wait to see what other hidden gems await me in the world of literature.

It's like embarking on a thrilling adventure, and I'm eager to see where it takes me.

This book has truly opened my eyes to the vast and captivating world of adult literature, and I'm looking forward to exploring it further.

As she’d read in books on forensic psychology, the major similarity among “grief-stricken” people was their ever-shifting cognitive and emotional states.

― James Patterson, Honeymoon

This book, "Honeymoon", is about a beautiful lady who has a penchant for murdering her lovers. Opposing her is a detective who is tasked with stopping her heinous acts.

On the surface, it sounds like a thrilling and captivating story. However, in reality, it falls short of expectations. It seems that this particular plot has been done countless times before, and Patterson fails to bring anything new or exciting to the table.

I have made several attempts to read Patterson's books, but for the most part, I have been unable to truly enjoy them. The exception being "The Murder House", which managed to hold my interest.

In "Honeymoon", the agent assigned to stop the killer starts to develop feelings for her along the way. This leads him to do some truly crazy things that are bordering on the unbelievable.

When the actions of the characters seem so far-fetched and脱离现实, it becomes difficult to engage with the story and enjoy the book.

Overall, "Honeymoon" was a decent read, but it could have been any other mystery or thriller. There was nothing truly unique or memorable about it. It just sort of blended in with the countless other books of its kind.

This book is entertaining from start to finish, with a simple yet captivating plot from the very first pages.

Its chapters are short, but filled with twists and turns in the plot. Some are expected, but many others are not, especially in the last 50 pages. Here, everything unfolds in such a rapid manner that you don't have time to assimilate what you're leaving behind on each passing page.

And although it has several inconsistencies (what book doesn't have them?), its good moments far outweigh them.

In conclusion, while it doesn't have a great plot nor will reading it change your life, it is a book that entertains, is well-written, and easy to read. It provides a pleasant escape and keeps you engaged throughout, making it a worthwhile choice for those looking for an enjoyable read.

Whether you're looking to relax on a lazy afternoon or pass the time during a commute, this book is sure to do the trick.

So, give it a try and see for yourself how entertaining it can be.

This truly stands out as one of the absolute worst books I have ever had the misfortune to read. Just take a moment to consider the cheesiness that lies within:

"Connor vs. Jeffrey. They were both an absolute riot. They had this amazing ability to make her burst out laughing and feel truly special. And there was simply no way to deny the fact that they were incredibly wonderful in bed - or indeed, wherever else they happened to choose to engage in sexual activities. They were tall, with bodies in perfect shape, and as handsome as the most renowned film stars. No, in fact, they were even more handsome than the film stars she was acquainted with. The plain truth of the matter was that Nora loved being with Connor and Jeffrey to an equal degree. Which, of course, made her decision that much more difficult and heart-wrenching."

This one was just meh to me.

The characters and their dynamic were truly very interesting. I particularly liked the fact that the serial killer was a woman. It added an unexpected twist to the story. Additionally, Nora's storyline was engaging and held my attention.

However, I was kind of confused about the other storyline regarding the offshore accounts and the stolen money. It seemed a bit convoluted and perhaps not as well-developed as it could have been.

The end happened really abruptly. It felt as if the author just ran out of steam or time and decided to wrap things up quickly. I truly feel like the book just should have been longer. There were so many aspects that could have been explored further, and a more drawn-out conclusion would have made the reading experience more satisfying.

Overall, while there were some good elements to the book, it also had its flaws, and I was left with a sense of disappointment.
