DNF on page 50.

I really just can't seem to get into this one.

No matter how hard I try, I find myself losing interest and struggling to continue.

The story doesn't seem to grip me, and the characters lack the depth and charm that would make me want to invest more time in them.

Maybe it's just not the right book for me at this moment, but it's a bit disappointing nonetheless.

As I look at the GIF image, it doesn't really add anything to my experience of the book.

It's just a random visual that doesn't seem to have any connection to the story or my lack of interest in it.

Oh well, there are plenty of other books out there waiting for me to discover.

Maybe the next one will be a real page-turner that I won't be able to put down.

I just can't stop enjoying this series where Lyndsay Boxer takes the lead.

Lyndsay Boxer is such a captivating character. Her adventures and the mysteries she solves keep me on the edge of my seat.

The 6th Target truly shocks right from the very start, and the action maintains a full head of steam all the way to the very end.

It is quite conceivable that this book actually has an abundance of elements at play. With three distinct cases intertwined and a plethora of personal drama unfolding simultaneously between Lindsey and Joe.

The overwhelming number of cases inevitably leads to an overload of people to keep track of. There are suspects, victims, lawyers, witnesses, and many others. Even if one can manage to remember who each individual is, the challenge still lies in discerning which case they pertain to.

The pace of the story is brisk, the action is thrilling, and the shocks are entirely unexpected. However, the only criticism that could potentially be leveled at The 6th Target is that it might perhaps contain a touch too much of a good thing.

Nonetheless, it remains a captivating and engaging read that will keep readers on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.

**Title: A Review with 3.5 Stars**

This review is about a particular product or service that I have experienced.

Overall, I would rate it 3.5 stars. There are several aspects that contribute to this rating.

The positive points are that the quality is relatively good. It functions as expected and meets most of my requirements. The design is also quite appealing, which gives it an edge over some competitors.

However, there are a few areas that could be improved. For example, the customer service could be more responsive. There were times when I had questions or concerns, and it took a while to get a satisfactory answer.

Another minor drawback is the price. While it's not overly expensive, it could be more competitive in the market.

Despite these shortcomings, I still think this product or service is worth considering. It has its strengths and with a few improvements, it could easily reach a higher rating.

I would recommend it to others who are looking for a decent option in this category.

Read May 2014

Initial Thoughts
At the beginning, I thought the character was just crazy. However, as the story progressed, it started to freak me out.

Re-read for a Challenge - August 28, 2016
This book is still a great and quick read. Lindsay remains a tough girl with a wonderful heart. The story is engaging and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Despite having read it before, I still found myself captivated by the plot and the characters. It's a testament to the author's skill that the book holds up so well on a second reading. Whether you're looking for a thrilling mystery or just a good story, this book is definitely worth checking out.

Fred Brinkley opened fire on 6 people aboard a ferry, resulting in the deaths of 4 and injuries to others, including medical examiner Claire and her son. When he goes to trial, the crucial question is whether he was legally insane.

Meanwhile, little Madison and her nanny have been kidnapped, and there is no ransom note. Additionally, there is a violent crime spree at the building where reporter Cindy resides.

This book presents three cases, each with its own complexity and drama. I found all three stories to be engaging. However, Detective Lindsay is beginning to grate on me a little. Can't she manage to be independent (i.e., without a man in her life) for an extended period? It seems that her personal life constantly interferes with her professional duties, and I hope she can learn to balance the two better in the future.

Overall, despite my minor annoyance with Lindsay, the book is a thrilling read that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Another good book in this series.

I have a deep affection for Patterson's mysteries. His works always manage to captivate me from the very first page. The way he weaves intricate plots and creates engaging characters is truly remarkable.

In this particular book, the mystery unfolds in a thrilling and unexpected way. The twists and turns keep me on the edge of my seat, constantly guessing what will happen next.

Patterson's writing style is also very accessible, making his books a joy to read. He has a talent for presenting complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner.

Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. It is sure to satisfy your craving for excitement and intrigue.

I can't wait to see what Patterson has in store for us in the next installment of this series.

The mass murder that occurred on the San Francisco ferry has made Lindsay and the San Francisco police force rush to track down the murderer who is still at large. And this time, Claire is one of the victims of the random shooting. Meanwhile, a child along with his caregiver has been kidnapped and there may be a murder according to the witness.

SH remembers that the ferry murder case seemed so easy to solve. The murderer surrendered. But it turns out not. There is still a continuation of this story. And the longer it goes, the more SH gets angry with Alfred. And the ending makes SH smile with satisfaction.

SH is angry that Lindsay suddenly gets demoted. Although she has successfully resisted a supervisor. It feels like why is this happening. Fortunately, the one who replaces Lindsay's position is Jacobi who is as great as Lindsay. But it's quite annoying. Because SH feels that Lindsay has carried out her duty very well.

Lindsey, the main character, is truly an idiot! Throughout this entire series, I have been constantly wavering on whether I like her or not. And finally, I have come to the conclusion that I don't. I firmly believe that this is one of the reasons why it has taken me such a long time to get through the series. I am currently halfway through this book, and I have actually found myself skipping entire chapters just to finish the darn thing. It's not as if the chapters are long. Anyone who has read James Patterson before knows that his chapters are only about a page long, seriously. And even with skipping whole chapters, I still have a clear understanding of what is going on. This series isn't terrible, but I would only recommend starting it if there is absolutely nothing else to read.

I just noticed that there is a seventh book! Will this ever end?

After much consideration, I have decided that I don't want to continue this series after all. In fact, I didn't even bother to finish this book. I simply skipped to the end and read the last couple of chapters. I hope that someone else will have a better experience with it than I did. Sadly, it just wasn't worth my time.

I feel that there is an overwhelming amount of events happening in this book.

It commences with a significant shooting incident, where one of the women within this group is shot.

The trial of this murderer persists throughout the course of the book.

Simultaneously, other cases are unfolding, such as several murders that occur at an apartment building, and the kidnapping of a little girl who just so happens to be the daughter of someone's boss.

Everything is interconnected, which makes this a highly stressful period for the club.

However, they don't seem overly concerned.

Everything is dealt with in a rather light-hearted manner, never delving too deeply into any one aspect.

Patterson merely skims over these events.

This makes me question whether he actually wrote it or if Maxine Paetro was the author.

Is this series going to transform into a formulaic one, similar to Danielle Steel's?

Let's just say that I am extremely disappointed.

If they continue the series in this fashion, I will likely cease reading them.

But, on a positive note, they have created a TV show based on these books that is quite good!

This book was just so so for me.

At first, it really made me question whether I truly wanted to invest any more of my precious reading time with these ladies.

The story seemed to be going at a rather slow pace, and I found myself a bit disengaged.

However, everything changed when I reached the ending.

It was like a sudden burst of excitement and revelation that completely turned my opinion around.

The answer to my earlier question became a resounding "hell yes!"

I am now eagerly anticipating book 7 and can't wait to see what adventures and surprises await these ladies in the next installment.

I'm sure it's going to be another great read that will keep me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.
