This was an okay read.

I feel that it was an improvement compared to the last one, yet it still didn't quite reach the quality level of some of the others.

My major concern was the presence of three completely disjointed plots. This made it extremely difficult to follow the story.

The A+B plots had some coherence and were somewhat acceptable, but the third plot involving Cindy's apartment building simply didn't contribute anything meaningful for me.

It seemed to be an unnecessary addition that rather than enhancing the narrative, it actually detracted from the overall flow and made the reading experience a bit more challenging.

Perhaps if there had been some better connection or integration between these plots, it would have made for a more engaging and satisfying read.

As it stands, while there were some redeeming qualities, the overall disjointedness of the plots left me with a somewhat lukewarm impression of the piece.

The Women Murder Club series has always offered great reads, and this particular book is no exception.

However, I gave it a 4-star rating mainly because of the multiple story lines that unfortunately never converge. It seems like there are three separate stories crammed into one book.

Each of these stories is interesting in its own right, but they tend to pull your attention in different directions. You find yourself constantly switching gears and trying to keep up with the different plot developments.

On the positive side, all three story lines have solid endings. They tie up the loose ends and provide a sense of closure.

If you're a die-hard fan of the Women Murder Club series, then this book is definitely worth reading. It offers the same engaging characters and thrilling mysteries that you've come to expect from the series.

Just be prepared to juggle multiple story lines and not have them neatly wrapped up into one cohesive narrative.

Overall, it's a good addition to the series, but it does have its flaws.

Another excellent book!

Lindsey is extremely busy in the task of tracking down the kidnappers. These kidnappers target small, highly intelligent children and their Nannies.

Simultaneously, she also has to catch a killer who was on a ferry and shooting random people.

One of the victims is fighting for their life and happens to be someone very dear to Lindsey.

This is yet another captivating novel from the talented James Patterson.

His ability to create such thrilling and engaging storylines is truly remarkable.

The combination of the kidnapping mystery and the ferry shooting adds an extra layer of excitement and tension to the narrative.

Readers will be on the edge of their seats as they follow Lindsey's adventures and root for her to solve both cases and save the day.

Overall, this is a must-read for fans of mystery and thriller novels.
