This was an okay read. I feel that it was an improvement compared to the last one, yet it still didn't quite reach the quality level of some of the others. My major concern was the presence of three completely disjointed plots. This made it extremely difficult to follow the story. The A+B plots had some coherence and were somewhat acceptable, but the third plot involving Cindy's apartment building simply didn't contribute anything meaningful for me. It seemed to be an unnecessary addition that rather than enhancing the narrative, it actually detracted from the overall flow and made the reading experience a bit more challenging. Perhaps if there had been some better connection or integration between these plots, it would have made for a more engaging and satisfying read. As it stands, while there were some redeeming qualities, the overall disjointedness of the plots left me with a somewhat lukewarm impression of the piece.
