Read this years after the movie. I found it impenetrable. It was as if a thick fog had descended upon the text, making it extremely difficult to understand. The words seemed to dance around, eluding my comprehension. I struggled to make sense of the plot, the characters, and the overall message. It was frustrating to realize that something that had once seemed so clear and engaging in the movie now appeared so complex and confusing on the page.
Perhaps it was because my memory of the movie had colored my perception of the written work. Or maybe the book was simply written in a style that was not to my taste. Whatever the reason, I found myself lost in a sea of words, desperately trying to find my way back to the story. I tried reading it again, more slowly this time, but the result was the same. The impenetrability of the text remained, and I was left with a sense of disappointment and dissatisfaction.
It was extremely curious for me to read the introduction to this work. Burgess was already ill and had serious financial problems. He wanted to leave a legacy to his wife before dying. And he sold his idea to Kubrick for a pittance. The thing is that in the US -puritans as they are for whatever they want- they censored the ending (chapter 21); not so in the United Kingdom. By reading the novel, you can have a taste that the movie will never have.
Likewise, and although it makes it difficult and complex to read, the argot created for its narration is an impressive piece of work.
A work that will be immortal.
A thrilling piece of literature
Full of interest, curiosity
Fear, love, hatred
Compassion and anger
A story about a family feud that has been going on for a long time
With blows, tricks, and mischief
I want to tell the people who watched the film
The film has much less violence than the story
Then came a situation where they carried out an operation
They sold their eldest
Who is actually young in age
He went to prison
Don't say he's crazy or Abu Zabel
Fortunately, they were trying a new system on the prisoners
Like the general secondary school and the sixth grade exactly
They brought the wad from there and played with it in his mind so that he would hate violence
And there was no more the mischievous cat
That ate from the garbage
It was really a nuisance
And his psychological procedures and torture after that were torture
And he really came out
Like any noble citizen
The problem is that he is still afraid of everything
He is like that shivering
And to complete the nightmare
His friends, in the name of God, may God open up to them
They all worked and saw themselves
And he was still as gentle as ever
And since he was their eldest before prison
And he used to do his duty and more with them
They said it's a pity
We must beautify him
And one of them remained a cop
Is this story really from England??
No way
And the wad was beaten and taunted
And he couldn't do anything
Because as soon as he just thinks
He makes a violent reaction
It makes him tremble and wear strange clothes
This story is highly recommended
But you need to be patient with it
And endure a little
