This book contains the complete script and stills from each scene of the film.

I haven't watched the movie for a long time, so it was really interesting to read all that amazing and sometimes very funny dialogue again.

In my opinion, both the movie and the novel are masterpieces. However, if you have already watched the film and read the book, this one is not necessarily essential reading.

Basically, it is just a script book with visuals. It can be a nice addition for those who are really passionate about the movie and want to have a closer look at the details of the script and the scenes through the stills. But for others who are not that obsessed, it may not offer anything truly new or groundbreaking. It's more like a supplementary item for the die-hard fans of the movie.

Nevertheless, it does have its own charm and can provide a different perspective on the story and the filmmaking process.

I want to focus on a marginal point that is somewhat related to the message of the book. Here, the book departs from the usual description that follows a series of consecutive events and then arrives at a final conclusion that the readers carry and discuss. With a very simple movement, this sequence is suddenly broken at a specific level known only to the reader and not to the society within the book. As a result, the final outcome that the characters in the book reach is suspect in its authenticity. So the reader is left with two choices: either to be blind and follow the final decision that they have agreed upon, or to take it upon themselves to re-examine the inhumane practice. This leads one into a cycle of questions about whether the authenticity of the practical results is affected by the social response. This can lead to more questions that may control the mind after finishing reading, and this can show that I love ambitious books that are not content with just presenting an idea and that's it.

These marginal points often add depth and complexity to the overall understanding of the book, making the reading experience more engaging and thought-provoking. They allow the reader to step outside the traditional narrative and explore different perspectives and interpretations. By considering these points, we can gain a more comprehensive understanding of the book's message and its implications.

In conclusion, while the main narrative of a book is important, it is also essential to pay attention to these marginal points as they can offer valuable insights and enhance our appreciation of the literary work.

This is such a unique book. It is not like any other ordinary reading material. The language used in it is so rich and profound that one must read it slowly to really understand and catch on to the nuances. Each word seems to carry a hidden meaning, waiting to be discovered. As you turn the pages, you will find yourself immersed in a world of beautiful prose and thought-provoking ideas. The author's writing style is truly remarkable, and it requires your full attention and concentration. Reading this book is not just a passive activity; it is an active engagement with the text. You need to take your time, savor each sentence, and let the words soak into your mind. Only then will you be able to fully appreciate the beauty and wisdom of this extraordinary book.

Is beauty to be forced?

Is a person to be made good by force but without anyone pressing him?

Should a criminal be punished or taught? And is it possible to commit crimes with the criminal if we knew him?

What if we gave him the same treatment by teaching him? That is, what if we applied his crimes to him in the same way or another? Would that be a crime then? Or would it be just retribution?

How will the "absence of corruption" affect society? Will it have a negative or positive impact? Or is that related to the way of its absence?

Can you have mercy on a man who is "accused" of a certain kind of "crime" because he committed those same crimes?

All these philosophical - cosmic - questions were raised by (Anthony Burgess) in his wonderful "A Clockwork Orange", which was later made into a film by the phenomenon (Stanley Kubrick) - and his father was prohibited from showing it in many countries because of the violent scenes it contains. Although the film did not contain as much violence as the book.!!

Warning: Burning of the events of the novel:

___________________________

The envy and hatred of (Alex) and his gang was that evil ability because of their actions - just envy - towards innocent people and old men only because they wanted to have fun! And perhaps I also hated classical music because of this (Alex).. just like he could no longer stand listening to it and it later became nauseating to him...

Perhaps something was relieved after he was arrested on the charge of killing an innocent old man - which he was never innocent of - but did I have mercy on him after he was transferred from prison to that asylum? Which perhaps the crimes he committed there were not "ethical"?

But was what he did related to ethics?

I do not deny that what the government did to (Alex) is definitely a crime. But at the same time, they did not do anything to him except what he did to innocent people!

And here the most important question itself arises; Can goodness be imposed on a person? Will that be in his interest and the interest of society! Only in the interest of society?

A wonderful novel on all levels, although I am convinced that the bad translation has lost the greater part of its beauty!

A crazy and interesting story...about the impact of violence and its consequences...starting with the violence of a gang composed of teenagers against society and against each other...and from the perspective of the police and the system against them...and about the danger of erasing the mind and suppressing the ability to choose...A film was made based on the story and was banned in many countries because of its excessive violence and insanity!!!

This story delves into the dark side of human nature and the chaos that can ensue when violence is unleashed. The actions of the teenage gang not only cause harm to society but also to themselves. The police and the system struggle to deal with this menace, highlighting the challenges faced in maintaining law and order. The concept of mind erasure and the suppression of the ability to choose add an element of mystery and danger to the narrative. The film adaptation, despite being banned in many countries, has managed to attract attention due to its bold and controversial subject matter. It serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing the issue of violence and its root causes in our society.

I really liked this thing, whatever it was. Maybe it was a book, a movie, or a conversation.

However, I also found it quite difficult to understand at times. There were moments when it seemed to go completely off course, and I would be left feeling confused and lost.

I'm not sure if it was because the subject matter was too complex or if the way it was presented was a bit too convoluted.

Despite these difficulties, I still had an overall positive impression. I think there was something valuable there, and I was willing to put in the effort to try and figure it out.

Maybe with a bit more time and patience, I would be able to fully understand and appreciate it.

One of my favorite books of all times is "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.

This classic novel tells the story of a young girl named Scout Finch growing up in the Deep South during the 1930s. Through Scout's eyes, we witness the racial injustice and prejudice that prevailed in that era.

The character of Atticus Finch, Scout's father, is a moral and upright lawyer who defends a black man accused of a crime, despite the backlash and danger he faces. His unwavering commitment to justice and equality serves as an inspiration.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" not only explores important social issues but also delves into the themes of courage, empathy, and the loss of innocence. It is a beautifully written and thought-provoking book that has stood the test of time and continues to resonate with readers of all ages.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a powerful and engaging read.

Well, I actually read the book, not Kubrik's screenplay. However, for some mysterious reason, GoodReads doesn't have Burgess' novel listed separately!!

It's quite frustrating because I really wanted to share my thoughts and ratings specifically for the novel. The book by Burgess is a unique piece of work that offers a different perspective compared to the film adaptation.

I believe that each medium has its own charm and ability to convey the story in a distinct way. While Kubrik's screenplay is highly regarded and has its own merits, the original novel might have details and nuances that are lost in the translation to the big screen.

I hope that GoodReads will soon rectify this oversight and list Burgess' novel separately, so that readers like me can have a proper platform to discuss and appreciate the book on its own terms.

Not an easy read, but highly thought-provoking.

Kubrick's creation of a new jargon and new societal norms was excellent.

His work delved deep into the human psyche and the potential consequences of a society gone awry.

The use of unique language and the establishment of strange yet fascinating norms added an extra layer of depth to the story.

However, it must be noted that there are parts that would be upsetting to some readers.

The themes explored, such as violence, sexuality, and the loss of individuality, may be disturbing for those with more sensitive dispositions.

Nevertheless, it is precisely these elements that make the work so powerful and engaging.

It forces the reader to confront uncomfortable truths and question the very fabric of our own society.

Overall, Kubrick's creation is a masterpiece that challenges our perceptions and leaves a lasting impression.

This book is a remarkable presentation of Kubrick's screenplay, enhanced by 800 stills from the film.

It's important to note that this is not the original Anthony Burgess novel, yet many reviewers have unfortunately confused the two.

This book stands as one of the finest examples of presenting a film in book form from those distant days before the advent of home video.

In fact, it's a better presentation than any of Richard J. Anobile's books.

Over the years, my copy has been well-thumbed, a testament to its popularity.

Moreover, it has always intrigued visitors who've noticed it on the shelf, sparking their curiosity and interest in the film and its behind-the-scenes details.

It truly is a captivating and valuable addition to any film lover's collection.

I read this book a while ago and I really enjoyed it. What made it special was the unique little language it had throughout the entire book. It was quite fascinating to come across these new and made-up words. Moreover, the book even had a glossary of terms, which was extremely helpful in understanding the meanings of those words. I found myself using these made-up words at times, which added a fun element to my daily conversations. It was like having my own secret language. The author's creativity in inventing these words was truly remarkable and it made the reading experience all the more engaging. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of novelty and creativity in their reading material.
