Dear Citizen, you ask us who we are?.. Oh, what a question!

We are the shiny billboards,

we are the huge posters that cover the walls of houses and the surfaces of the tall buildings,

we are the businessmen who rely on advertising,

the owners of the channels who only think about their lives in pleasing you.. and the size of the advertisements,

we are the advertisements themselves that we fill for you half with semi-naked girls and the other half with the most famous actors and singers in the field even if the advertisement is for a yogurt container!.

We are the talk shows that convey the event to you before it happens,

and analyze the match for you in five hours,

and tell you about the enemy and the friend that you did not choose yourself,

we are the shiny broadcaster and the presenter of the current programs,

we are the ones who magnify the ant and despise the elephant and befriend the wolf and flatter the lion if it kneels one day.

We are the truth.. that we make.

We are the right.. that we only see as right.

We are the credibility.. that will change your concepts.

We are the false...

But you will never know that.

We always strive for the summit.

Reaching the top is not an easy task, but it is the goal that drives us forward.

We face numerous challenges and obstacles along the way, but we never give up.

We are constantly learning and improving ourselves, equipping ourselves with the necessary skills and knowledge to overcome difficulties.

With determination and perseverance, we take one step at a time towards the summit.

Each step brings us closer to our destination, and we feel a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Although the journey may be long and arduous, we know that the view from the top will be worth it.

So, we continue to push ourselves, never satisfied with mediocrity, always aiming for the highest peak.

Because at the summit, we can see the world from a different perspective and experience a sense of fulfillment that is无与伦比.

Mohammad al-Hajji talked about this book in a chat on Snapchat, praised it, and gave a brief summary of it. I really liked the topic and decided to read it.

The book is short in the number of its pages but extremely great in its content.

It explains and clarifies the reasons and the way the media generally controls people's decisions and how it is manipulated, leading us to make wrong and perhaps disastrous decisions.

And it addressed one example in its book, which is the United States of America, and shed light on a lot of media and political corruption in it and on the crimes that it committed and the "American" point of view through its commission of these crimes.

It is an interesting book, and one reading of it will not be enough!

Propaganda: the mother of all evils?

Propaganda has long been a topic of intense debate. Some people believe that it is the root cause of many problems in society, while others see it as a necessary tool for communication and persuasion.

On one hand, propaganda can be used to manipulate public opinion, spread false information, and create division. It can be used by governments, corporations, and other organizations to advance their own interests at the expense of the public.

On the other hand, propaganda can also be used for positive purposes. It can be used to raise awareness about important issues, promote social change, and encourage people to take action.

So, is propaganda the mother of all evils? The answer is not so simple. It depends on how it is used and who is using it. We need to be critical consumers of information and be able to distinguish between fact and fiction. We also need to hold those who use propaganda accountable for their actions and ensure that it is used in a responsible and ethical manner.

I really like Noam Chomsky because he is not afraid.

Although he tries to talk about everything, he forgets the Red Indians, forgets the peoples who were wiped out in the south of his country, forgets the African slaves, and forgets all that colonialism has done in Algeria, Libya and other countries. He also does not talk about Sabra and Shatila! He does not demand that America, the greatest Satan, be held accountable, and he does not mention that the main causes of terrorism in the world are the arms manufacturing companies and those who finance them. And all the companies that contribute to the wheels of military production and their owners. He forgets to say that the Israelis have a large share in most of the world's companies.

The best article is the one that talked about the Martian who might completely change the classification of countries!! Who is the aggressor and who is the victim and who are the terrorists?

Of course, it is very easy for him to touch on all the issues related to Israel and no one will be able to stop him at his limit of exposing those individuals or countries that are involved in the conspiracy.

What the writer did not say is that our countries, which are swimming in seas of oil and are headed by corrupt leaders who are willing to give up their responsibilities in order to continue in power.

I still remember when I opened the newspaper and saw the massacre of Sabra and Shatila and what happened to me! I could not finish reading and I was hit by nightmarish cramps for a year. And now the same massacre is being talked about and after 40 years, not a hair moves for them and they do not feel remorse. As for me, I have given up the habit that was one of the most beloved habits to myself, which is reading newspapers.

The writer has raised my anger and given me a new way to grieve. And here I hope that the Martian would not have come to our land so that he would not go to Mars and give them a hint about the land: that it has seas of blood and fields of corpses. This is what my Martian friend will say.

Quotations: Propaganda in the democratic system is like the clergy in the totalitarian state, and this is a wise thing, and another time: Do not forget that the public interests are misled by the lost segment that is unable to understand those interests.

And Lebanon is being invaded and Beirut is being bombed and about 20,000 people are killed, 80% of them civilians, and hospitals are destroyed, and acts of terrorism, looting and theft are committed. And all this is good because the United States supports all of this. And there is only one example that we have not seen anything bad or the media about it, or even discussions about whether Israel and the United States of America should abide by UN Security Council Resolution 425 or any other resolution, and no one has demanded that Israel be bombed although according to the principles that a third of the population believes in, we must bomb Israel, because this occupation is illegal and a violation of human rights, and this is just one example.

Many resolutions have been issued obliging Israel to withdraw from Lebanon but it does not implement or respect these resolutions; because the United States supports it in continuing the occupation and the complete humiliation of the lost and misled segment. And he shouts national slogans and is afraid for his life and is pleased with his leaders who saved his life from destruction, while the educated masses repeat the slogans that they are supposed to repeat, and society decays from within, and we end up working as a corrupt state in the hope that others will save us; so that the world is destroyed? These are the options, which option should we face?

Saddam Hussein is a monster on the verge of invading the world (what America used to justify the invasion).

There is a term that describes this situation in the literature of international relations and diplomacy, and it is called "establishing credibility", and the other term is that we declare that we are a terrorist state, and you must pay attention to the consequences if you try.

Terrorism of school books: If we assume that the Martian will continue to challenge this global tradition, and he actually accepts the moral facts that Muslims are taught with, and he also accepts the official American definition of terrorism, I say that then he becomes a human from outside the planet, from outer space.

The Geneva Convention prohibits everything that Israel and the United States do in the occupied lands, including the settlements that were built and expanded with American financing.

A small writer full of evidence and proofs that the media has been used to control public opinion.

I was looking for a book that explains the mechanism of media control over the consciousness of the masses and I didn't find my way in this book. However, I have learned new information and ideas that the minds revolt against, including:

- Totalitarian governments use heroes to suppress their peoples, while democratic governments use the media for the same reason (what about the Nazi system that used both together?! No wonder that a people came out to the streets demanding the resignation of their defeated president!!!).

- The lie of the invincible Iraqi army! It is a lie that the American media stuck to it so that the people would turn against it and get its consent to invade Iraq.

The Iraqi army that could not defeat the Iranian army - which lost most of its armed forces after the Islamic Revolution - and was supported by the Soviet Union, the United States, some European countries and most of the oil-producing Arab countries. However, the end was undecided after 8 years - classified as the longest war in the twentieth century - and millions of casualties on both sides.

- Fear is the greatest inhibitor of thinking and with it governments can pass their policies without the opposition of public opinion.

- Terrorism is the use of violence to achieve political, religious or ideological goals, through spreading panic and frightening people.

The author (who is one of my favorite writers) discusses in this book some important theories such as the theory of "manufacturing consent" and the theory of "public guidance".. and how the public (the masses) do not have the right to interfere in choosing the priorities of their lives; where the media is used to control the people (the masses)..

The author says that the stick is the means of the ruler in the authoritarian system, while the media is the means of the ruler in the democratic system; and all the masses can do is come every certain number of years to reproduce the system by choosing a new person from within the same system to protect the interests of the wealthiest class.. and thus the citizen feels that he is free (or so he thinks) in choosing who represents him and the situation remains as it is.. where the elite protect their interests and the public maintain their peace and their role within the sphere of the system carefully designed to control them.. and this is one of the most important (if not the most important) ideas in the book.. as long as the people remain silent consumers, the system is safe.

The author continues by presenting his view on the blatant contradiction in the American point of view.. and how terrorism from the perspective of the American media is the other party's aggression against American society or American interests.. while the American aggression against the other is considered self-defense (Iraq, for example, or Ecuador) even though both sides have the same justifications and arguments.. as long as the media says that we (the American side) are right, then we are right.

This is what causes the author great concern about the safety and awareness of the "stupid" American citizen who cannot perceive the bare facts and how he has become a tool in the hands of a simple clique of business elites who protect their interests over time.

In general.. the book is beautiful and I highly recommend reading it..

Noam Chomsky once said, "There is a principle of intellectual culture which is that although you may exaggerate the crimes of the enemy, you will never exaggerate your own crimes."

George Schultz also noted that "negotiations will be tantamount to surrender if the factor of force is not felt on the table of equality."

Chomsky further stated that "the truth is usually buried under layer after layer of lies."

He also pointed out that "the United States is a leader in the industry of public relations, in that it is committed to the principle of controlling the general mind - to the extent of its leadership."

Additionally, Chomsky said, "Good propaganda wants to create a slogan that no one can oppose and that everyone will follow, but no one knows what it means because it means nothing."

Friedrich Nietzsche believed that "logic is a narrow-minded skill possessed by a small number of people; that is, the majority of people are programmed by their emotions."

Walter Lippmann thought that "the manufacture of consent is to make the public opinion agree with things that it does not fundamentally want through the use of propaganda means."

Chomsky finally said that "propaganda that is carried out under the supervision of the state when it is supported by the educated classes and when no deviation from the goal is allowed can have a great impact."

These quotes offer valuable insights into various aspects of culture, politics, and society, and can help us better understand the world we live in.

Turkey holds a significant position in the context of the War Against Terrorism that began in 2001. It was the first country to offer troops. The prime minister of Turkey provided an explanation for this action. Turkey's gesture was out of gratitude. The United States, alone among many, was willing to pour a large number of arms into Turkey. In fact, during the Clinton years, the US provided eighty percent of Turkey's arms. This influx of arms enabled Turkey to carry out some of the most heinous terrorist atrocities and ethnic cleansing operations in the 1990s. The situation is complex and has far-reaching implications. It not only reflects the geopolitical dynamics between the two countries but also highlights the moral and ethical questions surrounding the use of force and the support given to certain actions.

In a very small number of pages, Noam Chomsky was able to convey a fundamental idea that he was the first to deeply explore in the field of popular psychology and put a witness and another on what he said. The idea is the ability of governments and owners of financial resources to control the media and how to subjugate the so-called masses under the guise of obedience and blind following. Thus, emotion and the influence of the collective mind emerge from leadership.

So how can a person accept when he knows the driving force behind his path is humiliation and the achievement of self-interest to continue to submit?!

Chomsky's insights into the relationship between power, media, and the masses are thought-provoking. His work challenges us to question the status quo and the forces that shape our perception and behavior. By understanding how the media can be used to manipulate public opinion, we can become more critical consumers of information and better able to resist the influence of those in power.

Furthermore, Chomsky's emphasis on the role of emotion and the collective mind in leadership highlights the importance of understanding human psychology in the context of social and political systems. By studying how people are influenced by leaders and the media, we can develop strategies to promote more democratic and just societies.

In conclusion, Chomsky's ideas continue to have a significant impact on the fields of psychology, sociology, and political science. His work serves as a reminder that we must always be vigilant in the face of power and strive to create a more informed and empowered citizenry.

Noam Chomsky's work on the role of media, propaganda, and democracy is of great significance.

This article offers a very quick read and serves as a primer into some of his most critical and well-researched commentaries.

He is famously known for stating that "propaganda is to democracy, what a bludgeon is to totalitarianism."

This book provides a good introduction to his analyses. However, for a more in-depth understanding of such a complex topic, the deeper discussions found in his other books, lectures, and articles are highly necessary.

Chomsky's ideas have sparked numerous debates and have had a profound impact on the fields of media studies, political science, and sociology.

His work challenges us to think critically about the role of the media in shaping our understanding of the world and the ways in which propaganda can influence our beliefs and behaviors.

By exploring his ideas further, we can gain a better understanding of the complex relationship between media, propaganda, and democracy and work towards creating a more informed and democratic society.
