I have a rather complex feeling towards a certain person.

On the way to work, I do enjoy listening to him. There is something about his voice that can make the commute a bit more bearable.

However, when it comes to reading anything he writes, that's a completely different story. I thought that his work would be a quick and enjoyable read. But boy, was I wrong.

Greenberg, as it turns out, comes across as an out of touch elitist. His writing seems to be so detached from the real world and the experiences of ordinary people.

This makes the whole reading experience so much less enjoyable. It's really quite frustrating. Ugh.

I don't think I will ever, ever pick up anything he writes again. It's a real pity because I had such high hopes at first. But now, I'm just left disappointed.

It is shallower than a kiddie pool at the YMCA. The only redeeming factor I can point out about this book is that the story of Michael Jordan was somewhat interesting; however, it was merely a brief glimmer in a vast and shallow sea of darkness.

I shelled out a quarter for this book, and quite frankly, I demand a refund.

I expected so much more from a work that was supposed to offer some profound insights or engaging narratives. Instead, it left me feeling disappointed and cheated.

It seems as though Greeney was more concerned with promoting his own image rather than providing a worthwhile reading experience.

Perhaps if he had focused on the important aspects and shown a bit more respect and gratitude, this book might have had a chance at being something decent. But as it stands, it is a total let-down.

I would not recommend this book to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

There are some really funny moments in it. However, I had a difficult time truly caring about anything he said. This is because he always ended with something like "my nanny always gets the groceries" or "I've never heard of kids peeing in a pool", and I really wanted to know where he has been.

That aside, he also name drops expensive clothes as if I'm supposed to care.

But then again, I don't usually listen to sports talk. Overall, it's a quick read and enjoyable enough.

My wife still thinks I'm an idiot, though.

Maybe she's right, but at least I had some entertainment from this read.

I guess it's not a total waste of time.

Even if the content wasn't entirely to my liking, there were still some aspects that made it somewhat interesting.

It's always good to have a variety of reading materials, and this one definitely provided that.

Who knows, maybe next time I'll find something that really grabs my attention and makes me a convert to sports talk.
