I saw this book on the shelf and read it for kicks. What kind of book would Jenny McCarthy actually write? I was curious. Although I'm not pregnant (and I emphasize that), I found it to be actually kind of funny. Apparently, every possible thing that could happen to pregnant ladies, such as nerve problems, worshipping porcelain thrones (a humorous way to refer to morning sickness), constipations, and so on, happened to her. While she almost seems to be complaining through most of the book, her anecdotes were funny at times. It was a REALLY quick read, and it got me laughing. Surprisingly, I still want to have kids after reading this book. It made me realize that pregnancy can have its challenging and humorous moments, and it didn't deter me from the idea of having children in the future. Overall, it was an entertaining and light-hearted read that provided some laughs and insights into the experiences of pregnancy.
