Grabs you and won't let go

Ward has once again penned a masterpiece! This is not a story to be started without having some dedicated time available. It is filled with twists and turns around every corner, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat from beginning to end. The plot is so engaging and complex that it has the potential to be a truly stunning movie if brought to life by a talented director. One can't help but envision Holly Hunter as the perfect actress to play Christine. Her range and talent would无疑 bring this character to life in the most captivating way. The story has all the elements of a great thriller, with mystery, suspense, and a touch of romance. It is a must-read for anyone who loves a good page-turner.

This is the fifth book by Ward Larsen that I have read this year alone.

He may not be the most renowned or critically acclaimed writer in the history of literature.

However, he has an undeniable talent for crafting books that simply grip me and keep me turning the pages.

His stories are engaging, filled with interesting characters and thrilling plots.

Even though he may not be considered the greatest writer ever, in my eyes, his ability to write books that I can't put down makes him a master in his own right.

Maybe in the end, being able to write books that have such a powerful impact on readers is the same as being the greatest writer.

It's not about having the most perfect prose or the most complex literary devices, but about being able to connect with readers on an emotional level and keep them entertained from start to finish.

And Ward Larsen definitely has that ability.

The Perfect Assassin is an engaging tale that delves into an improbable adventure. It revolves around an Israeli assassin and a young American physician. The physician is on a journey, sailing her late father's boat from Europe to the US. Unexpectedly, she comes across a man who is desperately clinging to a small container in the water. This encounter sets off a chain of events that leads to a thrilling adventure.

The plot, while a bit far-fetched, teeters on the edge of believability. It progresses at a brisk pace, with intermittent killings adding to the excitement. The relationship between the two main characters starts off as cold as the North Atlantic waters from which he was rescued. However, as the story unfolds, it predictably warms up, leading to a climax that you can easily envision.

Unfortunately, the ending of the book is simply beyond belief. Even for someone like me, who easily gets immersed in plots and is lenient when it comes to what is possible, it felt rather silly. Although I was quite fond of the main character, the Israeli assassin, and admit that we could all use an extra assassin in our lives, I have decided not to read another book in this series.

The plot has enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. It's not just a straightforward narrative but one that keeps you guessing and surprises you along the way.

Overall, this is a great start to the series and leaves you looking forward to the next installment with great anticipation. It has all the elements of a successful story - interesting characters, a captivating plot, and a sense of mystery that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an entertaining read that will keep them engaged and entertained.

Christine Palmer was peacefully minding her own business on a boat, all by herself in the middle of the vast Atlantic Ocean. Suddenly, she noticed a guy floating in the water. To her surprise, he turned out to be Davide Slaton, a Mossad kidon.

There was a ship that had been transporting two nuclear weapons from South Africa for safe keeping in Israel. However, the boat went down, and the missiles were presumed to have sunk with it. Slaton had been on that ship. As it turns out, the boat went down in a particular position of the ocean that was less than 200 feet deep, which unfortunately allowed the bad guys to recover the nukes.

Slaton then takes Christine as a prisoner and forces her to take him to England, even though she was原本 on her way to the East Coast of the USA. Along the way, they get into a variety of dangerous situations that result in the deaths of several Mossad members who are out to kill Slaton. Apparently, the Mossad is involved in committing acts of violence against elements in Israel, perhaps to promote a more hawkish tone against Israel's enemies.

Anyway, one of the nukes is discovered in a boat at a dock in England somewhere, and the other ends up going off in an underground location in northern Africa, a place where such a location should not have existed. The situation is now extremely perilous and complex, with many unknowns and potential dangers lurking around every corner.

Dr Christine Palmer is enjoying a simple pleasure getaway on her boat, Windsom.

One day, she discovers the sole survivor of a mysterious shipwreck. To her surprise, the doctor's new companion, David Slaton, is far from an average shipwreck victim. Despite being burned and battered, Slaton wastes no time in taking over Windsom and ordering the good doctor to take him to England immediately.

The question that looms large is: Who is this guy and what is his problem?

"The Perfect Assassin" is an incredibly memorable espionage thriller. From the very beginning, I was completely drawn into the action, simultaneously trying to figure out who exactly David Slaton is, whether he is the good guy or the bad guy, and who precisely wants him dead.

I am particularly fond of the unexpected twist involving the dead wife and child, which serves as the impetus for the main character's actions.

I truly hope that the author seriously contemplates turning this book into a movie. The effects and the action would无疑 be amazing on the big screen, captivating audiences and leaving them on the edge of their seats.

I was truly astonished by the extent to which I took a liking to this book.

Although it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp books, I found the characters to be quite engaging.

The book kicked off at a rapid pace, and for the most part, that momentum continued to roll along smoothly.

I am most definitely going to give the other books in this series that feature David Slaton as the hero a try.

I'm eager to see how the author develops the character further and what new adventures and challenges he'll face.

Overall, this book has left me with a positive impression and has piqued my interest in exploring more of the author's work.

I'm looking forward to delving into the next installment and seeing where the story takes me.

Late at night in Cape Town, South Africa, the air is thick with anticipation. Everyone is in a frenzy, scrambling to locate the missing cargo. The promise of a triple bonus for the finder only heightens the excitement.

Meanwhile, a young Christine Palmer is bravely sailing solo across the vast Atlantic Ocean. She is doing this in memory of her newly departed father. As she is checking the boat, to her surprise, she discovers a man barely alive in the frigid waters. Without hesitation, she pulls him up onto the boat. However, much to her shock, he quickly commandeers the vessel and sails it towards the tip of England. Once there, he tears the sails, cuts all the ropes, and jumps off to start swimming.

The story then takes an exciting turn as they journey from Scotland Yard to the secret service headquarters of Israel and everywhere in between.

I truly relished this book. The author's unique approach of telling the same story from multiple perspectives and using creative dialogues throughout the process makes it a captivating read. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who has a penchant for a good romantic and action-packed plot. It will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Decent spy/special-ops-guy-goes-rogue fiction

This type of story is somewhat in the mold of the Bourne series. It is set in Europe and Israel, and the geography of the locations gives an interesting backdrop to the narrative. The description of the various places adds a certain charm and authenticity to the story. However, I found the plot to be rather predictable. It followed a somewhat familiar pattern that I had seen before in similar types of fiction. There were not many surprises or twists that really caught me off guard. Despite this, the story was still engaging enough to keep me reading until the end. The characters were well-developed, and the action scenes were exciting. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but not one that will leave a lasting impression.

This is an enjoyable read that I truly liked.

I would definitely read the next installment in the series, although this book can also stand on its own, and I would be quite satisfied with just this one.

The characters in the story are well-developed, and I liked how they interacted with each other. It added a lot of depth and interest to the plot.

One thing that really caught my attention was the description of the routes taken in England. It made me want to get a map of the country and try to follow along.

However, I did notice that the distances and travel times seemed a bit off to me. But since I was enjoying the read so much, I decided to just roll with it and not let it bother me too much.

If you're looking for a good book to read, I would highly recommend giving this one a shot. You might just find yourself getting lost in the story and enjoying every moment of it.

Christine Palmer, a young and adventurous American doctor, is bravely sailing solo across the vast Atlantic Ocean.

One fateful day, as she scans the horizon, she spots a man narrowly clinging to a cooler in the freezing ocean waters. That man is David Slaton.

David Slaton was on a ship that had been sabotaged. The ship was secretly conveying weapons. Unbeknownst to Christine, David is a highly-trained Mossad assassin.

Now, David has a perilous task ahead. He must somehow unravel the treachery that led to the sabotage of the ship and bring the perpetrators to justice. All the while, he has to be extremely cautious as he evades capture or, even worse, his termination.

David Slaton's situation is somewhat similar to that of Daniel Silva's protagonist, Gabriel Allon. However, it can be argued that David's story is not quite as good as Gabriel Allon's. Nevertheless, it still holds the promise of an exciting and thrilling adventure.

An excellent book that took us on an adventure with some extra story lines that may initially seem confusing but ultimately added depth and richness to the overall narrative. It was this very book that finally enabled me to read the first installment of this series. I might add that this is a series that I truly find enjoyable. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is engaging, keeping me hooked from start to finish. I hope that you, too, will have the opportunity to embark on this literary adventure and discover the joys that this series has to offer.
