I read this book a long time ago.

The book could have had many fewer pages because a lot of the content was repetitive, just expressed in a different way.

Overall, at the time when I was reading it, the book wasn't bad. But now I prefer not to read books that are very straightforward in giving commands, prohibitions, and advice.

I think I have become more interested in books that offer more complex and thought-provoking ideas, rather than those that simply tell me what to do or not to do.

Maybe this is because as I have grown older, I have developed my own way of thinking and don't want to be spoon-fed with simple instructions.

I want to explore different perspectives and come to my own conclusions.

So, while this book may have been okay for a certain period in my life, it no longer meets my current reading preferences.

I really struggled a lot with myself to be able to establish a connection with the book. However, after several months of efforts, there was no result and I gave up on the book halfway.

I didn't like the book and I feel that the whole book could eventually be summarized on one page. The author only gave examples from his own life and that of his friends and was trying to express the essence of the topic with various phrasings.

It was as if he wanted to take a reader and say, "Look! Every bad trait in others that annoys you, you definitely have a worse one yourself...."

Maybe if the author had presented the ideas in a more engaging and diverse way, I might have been more interested. But as it stands, the book failed to capture my attention and I had to abandon it.

Perhaps in the future, I will be more cautious when choosing books to ensure that I don't waste my time on something that doesn't resonate with me.

I didn't succeed. Even in the third start, I still haven't finished it.

What a task!

It's a disgrace!

It's worse than the yellow novels, the yellow and senseless psychology books.

This situation makes me feel extremely frustrated. I keep trying, but it seems that I just can't get it right.

I wonder if there is something wrong with my approach or if I'm just not cut out for this.

Maybe I need to take a step back and reevaluate my strategy.

But for now, I'm just left with this feeling of dissatisfaction and disappointment.

I hope that in the future, I can find a way to overcome this obstacle and achieve the success that I desire.

A truly remarkable book and process that, when properly facilitated, has the potential to bring about a literal transformation in one's life.

However, the question remains as to why it received only three stars. Debbie, it should be noted, was primarily a process facilitator rather than a writer. As a result, the text contains repetitions and some rather sloppy sentences, which can be a bit off-putting for the reader. Additionally, the references to esoteric or Christian ideas might alienate those who are otherwise open to change but have different beliefs or worldviews.

Despite these drawbacks, I am awarding it an honorary fourth star for its practicality and the exercises it offers. If these exercises are actually carried out and the reader is completely honest with themselves, they have the potential to lead to profound personal revelations and growth.

Overall, while the book has its flaws, it still holds great value for those who are willing to look beyond the writing style and engage with the material on a deeper level.

Despite the fact that many people said this book belonged to the category of yellow books.

The book was actually very good. The truth is that although I had the college entrance examination and was under the pressure of the college entrance examination, every time I came to it to read, it made me feel very comfortable. And it belongs to the kind of books that I definitely need to read several more times because it can really help you in every moment of your life to make you love yourself as you are.

The new perspective on the surrounding world and people was the gift of this book.

It has become a constant companion on my journey of personal growth and development.

It is a must-read for those who aspire to be the queens and kings of their own minds.

Generally, I don't tend to pick up books like this. However, this one was highly recommended by my friends. It didn't have the drawback of the yellowish books printed in this style, but it did have a common problem. That is, the unity of the subject matter under discussion despite having different chapters. The design on the front and the font used also indicate that it is far from being a professional publisher. Overall, there is no need to read it. In any case, it is better than mediocrity and examples of it.

Moreover, when I started reading this book, I found that the content was not as engaging as I had expected. The author's writing style seemed a bit flat and lacked the necessary depth to truly capture my attention. Although the book covered a wide range of topics, it failed to present them in a coherent and interesting manner.

In conclusion, while this book may have been recommended by friends, it didn't live up to my expectations. I would not recommend it to others, as there are many other better books available in the market that can provide a more enriching and enjoyable reading experience.

The book based on the Jungian psychological elements attempts to show how what we try to hide during our lives shapes our lives and causes our pain. The shadow, the persona, and the self are the three elements that make up this. The author's overall point is that this persona should be brought closer to its shadows so that your true reality can be revealed. Overall, the message of the book is good, but I don't like its religious or spiritual aspects, although Jung himself was also highly influenced by Eastern culture.

This book delves deep into the complex world of Jungian psychology, exploring the profound impact of the hidden aspects of our lives. It presents a thought-provoking perspective on how the persona we present to the world and the shadow that lurks within us interact and shape our experiences. By bringing the persona closer to the shadow, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and potentially find liberation from the pain and limitations that come from hiding our true selves.

However, the book's religious or spiritual undertones may not resonate with everyone. While Jung was influenced by Eastern culture, some readers may find these aspects less appealing or relevant to their own beliefs and experiences. Nevertheless, the book still offers valuable insights into the human psyche and can serve as a starting point for self-reflection and personal growth.

This was alright.

I had a strong desire to explore the concepts and practices of "Shadow Work", and by chance, this book came into my hands.

It is the first book I have read that endeavors to work on the idea that the aspects within us that we strive to conceal and distance ourselves from can, in fact, bring us blessings and healing if we confront them directly, with love.

I'm not entirely certain that it is the absolute best book available on this subject, but I can state that in terms of self-help, it presents rather standard material.

I believe it could be beneficial for anyone who is commencing their healing journey to read this book.

As for me personally, I almost always have the feeling that I gain more self-awareness after reading an introspective book, so I don't consider the time spent reading it as wasted.

The book consists of 180 pages and covers its content effectively and systematically.

I borrowed a physical copy from Holly.

The original text seems to be in Persian and it roughly means "It was just long for no reason and the sentences were constantly repeating...". Here is the rewritten and expanded English version:

The text seemed to be rather long without any specific purpose.

It appeared that the sentences were being repeated continuously, which made it a bit monotonous.

Perhaps the author was trying to emphasize a certain point, but the excessive repetition didn't really achieve that effect.

It would have been better if the ideas were presented in a more diverse and engaging way.

This way, the reader's interest could have been maintained throughout the text.

As it stands now, the length and repetition might cause the reader to lose focus or become bored.

Some rephrasing and reorganization could potentially improve the overall quality and readability of the text.

It's important to find a balance between getting the message across and keeping the reader entertained.

Otherwise, the intended impact of the text might be lost.

Shizz got real. This simple phrase holds a world of meaning. It implies that a situation has suddenly become serious or intense. It could refer to a variety of scenarios, such as a conflict escalating, a difficult task presenting itself, or a realization dawning. When shizz gets real, people often have to face the facts and deal with the consequences. It can be a challenging and sometimes overwhelming experience. However, it can also be an opportunity for growth and learning. By confronting the reality of a situation, we can make better decisions and take more effective actions. So, the next time shizz gets real, don't panic. Instead, take a deep breath, assess the situation, and do what needs to be done.

If you're in search of a profound book to enrich your "Shadow Work" endeavors, this is indeed one that I would highly recommend to those who seek reading materials. Ms. Ford is extremely forthright regarding her own challenges and offers valuable guidance to others, leading them along the same path that she traversed, step by step.

I assigned this book a 4-star rating as I discovered the exercises within to be highly thought-provoking. I found myself refraining from quickly skimming through the book from cover to cover before I could engage in some practice with them. Aimed at helping you understand yourself, work on your negative traits, and reconcile them with your entire self, it hits the mark precisely. Moreover, it is written in simple English, making it accessible to everyone, even if you're not a student of Jungian psychology. However, it was deprived of a 5-star rating due to being "padded" with stories as if it required examples to prove "Hey, this truly works". It seemed that while the names were altered, the essence of the story remained the same, and the tone lacked variation.

Overall, it is a very good book, and I'm delighted that it was recommended to me. If you're desirous of getting to know yourself - and by that, I mean really getting to know yourself, including the good, the bad, and the ugly - this is an excellent tool for facilitating the transition as clearly and smoothly as possible.
