This was truly one of my absolute favorites within the McKettrick series.

After delving into the captivating stories of Holt, Rafe, Kade, and Jeb, along with their respective wives - Loralei, Emmeline, Mandy, and Chloe - it sent shivers down my spine to read Sierra's vivid description of their grave markers as she traversed through the family cemetery.

The parallel story of Hannah and Doss, set back in 1919 in the same house, was thoroughly enjoyable. Hannah's struggle with guilt, given that Doss was the brother of her late husband, Gabe, added an extra layer of depth.

Plus, the update on what the original McKettrick men and women were doing in 1919 was a fascinating touch.

In my opinion, the present-day story of Sierra and Travis was equally good. However, I must admit that I had a slight preference for the story of Hannah and Doss. I think this might be because I had just completed reading the tales of the original McKettrick men.

It was such a sweet and heartwarming story, and it made for a quick and engaging read that left me with a smile on my face.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

It was truly captivating as the author skillfully brought the past and present together.

The way she intertwined the two timelines made for a fascinating read.

The characters were extremely well written.

Each one had their own unique personality and story, which made them come alive on the pages.

It was so easy to imagine how it would be to meet someone from the past.

The author's vivid descriptions and attention to detail added to the overall charm of the book.

It made me feel as if I was actually there, experiencing the events along with the characters.

This book is definitely a must-read for anyone who enjoys historical fiction or a good story in general.

I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.

I truly have a deep affection for this book.

This is merely the second occasion on which I have read it, yet it has crossed my mind numerous times over the years.

The element of magic that Miller incorporates is truly enchanting, and I believe she does an outstanding job of paralleling the lives of Hannah and Sierra while simultaneously making each of them distinct.

I find myself not only cheering for Sierra and Travis, and Hannah and Doss to successfully build their relationships but also hoping that Sierra and Hannah, and Liam and Tobias, can establish lasting "relationships" throughout the years.

Although Miller provides no indication as to whether they are able to continue communicating or not, I sense that it would inevitably cease or diminish once the women have found their happy endings.

And since Liam has relocated to a new bedroom, I assume that he probably won't see Tobias again...

However, I hope they are able to locate each other and talk at least one more time - to bid farewell and let each other know that everything has worked out well.

(I am a sucker for a sentimental, happy ending!)

This is an extremely captivating story about two parallel lives. There are two single mothers, both of whom deeply love their children and eventually fall in love.

The eerie aspect is that one of them is living in 2007, while the other is in 1919, yet they are in the same house and can sense each other's presence!

It is a unique blend of a standard romance and a remarkable ghost story. I almost feel the need for a campfire to share this fascinating tale.

However, there is not a great deal of in-depth exploration into the souls of the men who fall in love with these women. As a result, this book did not receive the highest rating from me.

Nevertheless, I still consider it a keeper. It has a certain charm and allure that makes it worth holding onto and perhaps rereading in the future.

The combination of the two different time periods and the supernatural element adds an extra layer of mystery and excitement to the story.

Overall, it is a book that will surely engage readers and keep them on the edge of their seats.

The story was truly interesting, standing out markedly from the majority of plots we encounter nowadays.

There were two women, existing in different centuries. Each was going through extremely stressful phases in their respective lives. Surprisingly, they discovered that they could communicate with one another.

One of the women had married into the McKettrick's family and was now a widow. The other was the daughter of a McKettrick, who had been taken away by her father at a very tender age.

Their sons had a sense of each other, and eventually, they were able to see and talk about life in their separate eras. When the mothers finally saw each other, they realized that everything they had been seeing and sensing was indeed happening.

At times, the story evoked a sense of sadness, while at other moments, it was filled with humor. Overall, it was a very enjoyable read, perfect for a quick holiday escape.

It managed to capture the reader's attention from start to finish, taking them on a journey through different times and the lives of these fascinating characters.

The unique concept and the engaging narrative made it a memorable literary experience.

This author was recommended to me and it was a relatively quick read. The viewpoints presented were quite interesting.

However, the author had a tendency to bounce back and forth between the years 1919 and 2007, which is something that I don't typically prefer.

Despite this, I persevered and still managed to enjoy the piece. Nevertheless, this particular way of writing is not my absolute favorite.

I have a great love for historical works, but this kind of twist in the narrative made it necessary for me to really concentrate in order to determine which era I was in at any given moment.

Overall, it was an okay read, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me in terms of writing style.

Sierra, who was taken by her dad from her mom and the McKettricks at the tender age of 2, returns at her mom's request. She brings along her son Liam, as she is in desperate need of getting medical coverage for him.

She makes her way to the old McKettrick home. Little does she know that this visit will lead to an extraordinary event. As soon as she steps foot in the house, she finds herself "involved" in a mysterious time-switching phenomenon. One moment she is in the present, and the next, she is transported back to 1919.

In 1919, the McKettrick family is living in the house, and among them is an 8-year-old Tobias. Sierra is now thrust into this unfamiliar era, trying to make sense of what is happening while also dealing with the challenges of providing for her son.

This is a truly neat story that combines elements of mystery, family, and the unexpected. It keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, wondering what will happen next as Sierra navigates through this strange time-traveling adventure.

Sorry to say it was not one of my favorite McKettrick Women. In the past, when I first started reading this series, I had high expectations. However, this particular installment didn't quite meet those expectations. The story seemed to lack the depth and excitement that I had come to expect from the McKettrick Women series.

But, I'm glad I read it. It still had its redeeming qualities. The characters were well-developed, and the author's writing style was engaging. Even though it wasn't my favorite, it still gave me a better understanding of the overall McKettrick Women universe.

And I will be reading the rest. I believe that each book in the series has something unique to offer. Just because this one wasn't my top pick doesn't mean the others won't be. I'm looking forward to seeing how the stories of the other McKettrick Women unfold and how they all fit together in the end.

This is a really very interesting read.

It's truly fascinating to have two stories running parallel to each other.

Miller is an amazing writer. Her talent shines through in every word she writes.

I have read several of her stories, and I've not yet been disappointed.

Each story has its own unique charm and keeps me engaged from start to finish.

The way she weaves the plots and develops the characters is simply outstanding.

I can't wait to see what other wonderful stories she has in store for us.

I highly recommend her works to anyone who loves a good read.

You won't be disappointed.

I have always had a deep love for cowboy stories.

Who wouldn't be charmed by them? I embarked on this series and managed to devour all five books in approximately five days.

They were all highly enjoyable, although at times a bit too far-fetched. Nevertheless, they managed to keep me thoroughly entertained throughout the entire series.

This final book presented the story of two women who lived in the same McKettrick's house over 100 years apart.

What made it even more fascinating was that their sons could see each other and communicate.

Now the question is, how will this extraordinary situation play out?

It leaves one on the edge of their seat, eagerly anticipating the unfolding of the events and the resolution of this unique and captivating plot.
