Creation out of nothing! If I were to describe this work in one word, even the word "amazing" would not do justice to it. Isn't it amazing that the author creates such excitement, such melancholy, and such love in the form of ordinary and unremarkable dialogues?

This piece of work is truly a masterpiece. The way the author weaves together these seemingly simple dialogues to convey such complex emotions is truly remarkable. It makes the reader feel as if they are a part of the story, experiencing the excitement, the melancholy, and the love along with the characters.

The use of everyday language adds a sense of authenticity to the work, making it all the more relatable. It shows that great art can be created out of the most ordinary things in life. Overall, this is a work that will leave a lasting impression on the reader and is well worth reading.

The type of story that has always really hooked me in literature!

It's a short but powerful book because of its atmosphere, which intrigues us a great deal.

However, the ending is rather predictable.

Still, I'm anticipating the analysis that I can do of it in class.

This kind of story has a certain charm that keeps me engaged from the beginning to the end.

The way the author creates the atmosphere makes it feel almost real, as if I'm part of the story.

Even though I can see the ending coming, there are still many details and elements that I want to explore and discuss in class.

I'm looking forward to hearing different perspectives from my classmates and learning more about the story through our analysis.

Maybe there are some hidden meanings or themes that I haven't noticed yet, and I'm excited to discover them.

Overall, this is a book that I really enjoy reading, despite its predictable ending.

I really liked Marguerite Duras' style, it was the second time I was reading one of her works.

During the reading, I liked the suspense. However, in fact, the work only presented us with ordinary information and several conversations between Anne and Chauvin.

I wouldn't say that the ending is surprising, but it confirms our reading suspicions.

Marguerite Duras has a unique way of writing that can draw readers in and keep them engaged. Her works often explore complex themes and emotions, and this one is no exception.

Although the story may seem simple on the surface, there are many underlying layers and subtleties that make it worth reading.

The characters are well-developed, and their conversations reveal a lot about their personalities and relationships.

Overall, I would highly recommend this work to anyone who enjoys reading literature that challenges their thinking and makes them feel something.

In this novel penned by Marguerite Duras, we are introduced to a woman named Anne Desbaresdes. Every Friday, she brings her child to have piano lessons with a rather strict woman, Madame Giraud. When a murder occurs right beneath Madame Giraud's apartment, Anne begins frequenting a local bar located at the scene of the crime to inquire about what happened. It is there that she meets Giraud, a man with whom she shares drinks over the course of a few weeks.

This is a strange little novel, yet it is also a very good one. However, the key is that you truly need to read it until the end and perhaps revisit it.

The relationship between privileged Anne and factory-worker Chauvin is both intimate and distant. They share their views on what transpired between the couple involved in the crime and, simultaneously, reflect on their own lives.

You don't learn much about any of the characters, not about their backstories. But Duras is highly successful in making you perceive the essential nature of these characters, even though you know very little about their pasts or personal lives.

As far as I'm concerned, the repetitiveness of several elements, such as the sirens at the end of the workday, gives you a good sense of the passing time and, at the same time, the dwindling time for the future of these two characters in their newly formed connection. The repetition of violent images emphasizes the unstable personality of Anne Desbaresdes and her own fixation with the events.

One of my favorite aspects of this novel was most definitely the descriptions. As you might expect, given the size of the novel, they are not extensive, but they are brilliant. You get a perfect mental picture of what is being described.

The ending is perfect. It fits seamlessly with everything that occurred in the plot and it doesn't feel incomplete or hasty, despite its not very literal and upfront meaning.

This is not an easy read, but it is well worth it. And please, take your time to let the words resonate in your mind as you read it.

Never has it happened to me to finish a book and be able to state categorically that I haven't understood what I've read. I don't know if it's because there is a too hidden subtext or there are too subtle double meanings for me to have been able to capture them, but the reading of that little work of less than 100 pages has been very burdensome for me.

I know there are people who love that book, I don't dispute it. It may be that there are those who find in its pages a lyricism and a hidden beauty that I haven't been able to find.

Maybe I'm not the right reader for this particular book. Maybe I need to read it again with a different mindset or more background knowledge. Or perhaps it's simply a matter of personal taste. After all, not every book is going to resonate with every reader.

Despite my difficulties with this book, I'm still glad I read it. It has made me think and has challenged my understanding. And that, in itself, is a valuable experience.

In the end, I guess it's all about finding the books that speak to us on a deeper level and enjoying the journey of discovery that reading can bring.

It's an alright book.

Not a lot of plot goes into it, which makes the story seem a bit thin at times. The whole book feels like a metaphor that you don't really fully understand. There are hidden meanings and subtleties that elude you on the first read.

However, it does have some mystery to it that makes you want to finish it. The unknown elements and the sense of enigma keep you engaged and curious.

I probably would not re-read it though. Once the mystery is solved and the story is over, there doesn't seem to be much incentive to go back and explore it again. It's an interesting read, but not one that I would consider a classic or a must-read.

Overall, it's a book that has its strengths and weaknesses. It's not a bad book, but it's also not a great one. It's just an average book that you might enjoy reading once, but probably won't remember for a long time.

A piano lesson. An child, his mother, his teacher. And then a woman's scream and a crowd gathering in the café downstairs of the building. A murder, she has just been killed by her husband.

The woman will come back to the café the next day and then the day after. Sort of a morbid curiosity, a sick thirst to return to the scene of a crime that obsesses her. Troubling, gripping.

Surely it's all or nothing, you either get hooked or not. There would be plenty of things to say. Elements that surely didn't strike me on the first reading in 2011 (already).

But the atmosphere is suffocating, heavy, panting. Duras' pen is delicate, precise. And this book leaves us with a strange taste of too much and too little at the same time.

La boucle est bouclée.

This simple statement holds a certain elegance and mystery. It implies that a cycle or loop has been completed, perhaps indicating the end of a process or the fulfillment of a pattern.

When we think about a loop being closed, it can bring to mind various scenarios. It could be a physical loop, like a circular chain or a coil, where the ends meet and form a continuous structure.

In a more abstract sense, it might refer to a cycle of events, such as the changing of the seasons or the repetition of a daily routine.

The idea of a loop being closed can also have symbolic meanings. It could suggest a sense of completion, wholeness, or even a return to the beginning.

Overall, the phrase "La boucle est bouclée" invites us to reflect on the concept of loops and their significance in different aspects of our lives.

Whether it's in the realm of mathematics, nature, or human experience, the idea of a closed loop can offer insights and引发思考.

It reminds us that everything is connected in a cycle, and that endings often lead to new beginnings.

So, the next time you hear or read the words "La boucle est bouclée", take a moment to consider the possible meanings and implications it holds for you.

Perhaps it will inspire you to look at the world around you in a new light and discover the hidden loops and cycles that exist within it.

Love must be prohibited for you, sir, with the headless man lying at the foot. It starts from the murder of a young woman in a bar. The atmosphere is floating and hazy, almost sleepy. I hope that at the end, it will be more devastating than this, but it's not much different. It's stuffy and dull inside.

This story seems to be filled with mystery and a sense of unease. The prohibition of love adds an extra layer of complexity to the plot. The description of the murder in the bar creates a tense and惊悚的scene. The floating and hazy atmosphere makes the reader feel as if they are in a dreamlike state. The hope for a more devastating ending builds anticipation, but the reality is that it's not as extreme as expected. The stuffy and dull feeling inside may reflect the emotions of the characters or the overall tone of the story.

Overall, this article leaves the reader with many questions and a desire to know more about what will happen next. It's a captivating piece that draws the reader in and keeps them engaged until the very end.

Moderate and singing. The title suits the book perfectly. Moderate in its discourse (not knowing everything, not knowing nothing, only knowing what is necessary), moderate in its ardors (neither passion nor dullness, but absolute precision), singing, singing (due to its cyclic form, of return and habit, and repetition, again).

The book is absolutely magnificent, trembling with precision, stylistically enjoyable, poetically autonomous. As the pages turn, the discerning reader realizes that the important thing is not what happens, but that it happens, and the words that tell it. Since it is a novel of speech, of the duty to speak. What matters is that the voice does not go out, that life does not stop, so that it can continue to speak of death, an excuse for the narrative to hold. Truly, a tour de force by Marguerite Duras and a pure pleasure to read when one is not too attached to "traditional" texts.

Marguerite Duras' work "Moderato Cantabile" begins with a murder that took place near where Anne Desbaresdes' son had piano lessons.

The work explores the emotional attachment to someone else's life, the attempt to understand the motives that lead people to kill their partners. It delves into the themes of passionate murder, adultery (by Anne Desbaresdes), the bohemianism of alcohol, and the implicit sexual persecution (by Chauvin, "the man from the bar").

Desbaresdes imposes on her son what she wanted to be, the ability to play moderately and beautifully, which the son's stubbornness prevented him from achieving. It is an interesting work, sometimes confusing but meaningful, a writing that goes beyond mere objectivity and makes the reader think, trying to解开 the plot.

It is a work whose ending is unexpected, emerging in an unforeseen way to cause apprehension in the reader. It is a work for some but not for all!
