The narration, which essentially relies on brief, terse, and raw dialogues, nurtures the void of the event and the facts related seem heavy with insignificance. No element reaches a conclusion, neither the plot around the passionate crime nor the nascent relationship between the two characters. It is a culture of failure. There are so many frustrations in the face of this total lack of explanations and it is up to the reader to appropriate the story without real indications. The use of short dialogues gives the narrative a certain disjointedness, making it difficult for the reader to fully engage and understand the true meaning and significance of what is happening. The lack of a clear resolution to the plot and the relationship only adds to this sense of dissatisfaction. However, perhaps this is the author's intention, to force the reader to think and interpret for themselves, to create their own meaning from the sparse and often confusing details provided. In the end, the reader is left with a sense of ambiguity and uncertainty, but also with a newfound appreciation for the power of the written word to inspire and challenge.
