The Amanta? I really want to believe in her, let things be okay. But the time when she met me, she was looking to find someone. That's what people always do when they don't find peace: they start something knowing that things will change drastically.

I would like to go out into the garden and shout loudly: 'None of this is worth the effort!' I would like to shout it so that the whole world can hear it.

Carver's collection of short stories is truly an extremely interesting one. These stories strike the reader like bullets, hitting them with a force that cannot be ignored. They vividly reflect the stark and often harsh realities of the characters and their complex relationships. Each situation within the stories is meticulously crafted and brought to life in such a remarkable way that the reader can almost easily relate to them.

The last story, titled "The Errand", which is Carver's unique take on Chekhov's death, has an ending that is both interesting and thought-provoking.

Carver's writing style is characterized by its crispness and engaging nature. He describes the events in a way that leaves the reader completely shaken and moved. His ability to convey emotions and capture the essence of human experiences is truly remarkable.

Overall, this collection of short stories is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates great literature and wants to be immersed in a world of powerful and impactful storytelling.

This feeling can be quite disturbing and unsettling. It's as if there is an unknown and menacing force lurking in the shadows, just out of sight.

Maybe it's a sense of foreboding that creeps up on you when you least expect it. You might find yourself constantly looking over your shoulder, wondering what could be hiding there.

It could be that this perception is based on past experiences or perhaps it's just a figment of your imagination. But regardless of the cause, it has a powerful hold on your emotions.

You can't seem to shake off this feeling, and it haunts you day and night. It makes you question the safety and security of your surroundings.

Is there really something可怕 happening behind the scenes? Or is it all just a product of your overactive mind? Only time will tell.

But until then, this feeling continues to linger, leaving you on edge and filled with anxiety.

Carver has a remarkable talent for uncovering the beauty that lies within the mundane. He focuses on the everyday regular stories and the ordinary people who populate our lives.

The thoughts that might fleetingly cross a person's mind in an afternoon or during a single sitting, Carver has the ability to pen them down in a manner that instantly captivates the reader. However, it's important to remember that these are short stories, so the engagement is brief but intense.

The way he writes is truly wonderful. If only we would take the time to notice, we would realize that there are countless such moments happening daily in and around our own lives.

Her öykü iyiydi.

Özellikle derlemeye ismini veren "Fil" ve "Bu Yatakta Her Kim Yatıyorduysa" en beğendiğim ve sadeliklerinin vuruculukları olduğunu düşündüğüm harika kısa hikayelerdi.

These stories had a certain charm that captured my attention from the very beginning.

The simplicity in their narration was truly captivating.

"Fil" had a unique plot that took me on an unexpected journey.

It made me think about different aspects of life and human nature.

On the other hand, "Bu Yatakta Her Kim Yatıyorduysa" had a mysterious and engaging tone.

It kept me guessing until the very end.

The author's ability to convey emotions and ideas through these short stories was remarkable.

I found myself completely immersed in the worlds created by the author.

Overall, these stories were a joy to read and left a lasting impression on me.

I would highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys good literature.

I got married at a very young age. To support my family, I worked as a cleaner in hospitals, printing houses, and gas stations.

I wrote stories just as I lived, describing the simplest things with such great intensity that the reader feels as if the end of the world has come.

I have also added my other books to my reading list.

This is my life story, filled with hardships and yet also with the beauty of creating something out of nothing.

Despite the difficulties, I have always found solace in writing and sharing my experiences with others.

It is through these stories that I hope to inspire others to never give up on their dreams, no matter how hard life may get.

My journey has been long and arduous, but it has also been incredibly rewarding.

I look forward to seeing where it takes me next.

Let's not call these stories... If you wish, let's say they are concrete nails driven into our souls.

These experiences, whether they are joyous or painful, leave an indelible mark on us. They shape our perspectives, influence our emotions, and define who we are.

Each story is like a thread that weaves into the fabric of our lives, creating a unique tapestry. Some threads may be bright and colorful, representing moments of happiness and success. Others may be dark and dull, symbolizing hardships and failures.

But it is through these stories that we learn, grow, and become stronger. They are the lessons that guide us on our journey through life. So, instead of dismissing them as mere tales, let's embrace them and allow them to enrich our souls.

O elefante é outro conto que me impressionou.

Carver consegue capturar a tristeza e a beleza daquela cena, deixando o leitor emocionado.

Reading Carver is indeed a form of literary voyeurism. It's akin to strolling down the street at night and peeking into the illuminated windows of family homes. However, with Carver's works, you don't merely catch a glimpse of their living rooms. Instead, you gain access to their minds, hearts, and the most intimate aspects of their lives. You have an idea of what to expect from a Raymond Carver book. Although all his stories are essentially of a particular type, each one appears completely novel and unique. This is due to the tiniest alterations in character and setting. They are distinct and yet share a certain sameness, much like our own life narratives. This is precisely what makes his writing so remarkable. Among all his books, "Elephant" holds a special place in my heart as my personal favorite.
