It makes us want to cheer along and see what amazing things lie ahead.

The Baxter Family series is a captivating family drama and romance series. Each book focuses on a different member of the Baxter family, yet all are united by two common threads: faith in God and the unwavering strength of this family unit. This family endures an overwhelming amount of tragedy and loss. After my initial reading of the series, I recall thinking that one would have to be a masochist to desire to marry into the Baxter family, given the numerous tragedies they face. Indeed, they do manage to overcome everything in the end, and their stories are replete with grace, wisdom, and redemption. However, if you're not in the mood for a tearjerker, this series might not be the ideal choice for you.

This particular installment is Brooke's story. It commences with a harrowing accident involving her daughter, which forever alters her family's life and shatters her marriage. The description of the accident is difficult to read, especially for a parent.

We also witness the continuation of Ashley's storyline, specifically her HIV diagnosis and subsequent breakup with Landon. I couldn't help but feel frustrated with this character as she makes some rather foolish choices. Without spoiling too much, let's just say that at one point, you'll want to yell at her, just as Brooke does.

Finally, Luke's wedding takes center stage in this book. There are several overly sentimental Hallmark moments during the wedding weekend. Since I'm not a fan of Luke as a character, I wasn't overly invested in his wedding. But if you enjoy that kind of thing, this is the happiest moment for the family in this particular book.

I'm having a rather complex love/hate relationship with this series.

It's truly like a captivating soap opera that keeps pulling me in. I just can't help but deeply care about the characters and constantly wonder what thrilling or heart-wrenching event is going to unfold next.

Admittedly, the writing isn't of the highest caliber. At times, it's downright cheesy, and there are moments when I find myself skimming through a page or two.

However, when that precious little three-year-old was discovered at the bottom of the pool and the intense battle for her life commenced, I was completely overcome with emotion and cried my eyes out.

This series is pure escapist fiction, and despite its flaws, I'm determined to read the last book to find out what fate awaits the Baxter family next.

I'm curious to see how their stories will conclude and if there will be any more unexpected twists and turns along the way.

It's this combination of flaws and addictive qualities that keeps me coming back for more.

This is an extremely great book!! It is filled with intense emotions that will surely touch your heart.

This might just be my absolute favorite of the series up until now!

I truly adore how each and every book in this series delves more deeply and specifically into one of the Baxter children.

It's not only about focusing on that particular child but also keeping you updated on what the rest of them are up to.

This specific book centers around Brooke and Peter.

And let me tell you, make sure you have a box of tissues nearby!

I cried probably around 5 times within the 344 pages.

I breezed through this book so quickly.

I initially thought this was the final installment in the Redemption Series.

However, I was extremely pleased to discover that there is one more book to come!

I can't wait to see what adventures and emotions the next book will bring.

Overall, this series has been an amazing read and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good family drama with heart and soul.

I wasn't initially sure if I would like the Redemption series. I was hesitant to start it. However, I'm extremely glad that I did.

This is the fourth book in the Redemption series, focusing on the Baxter family. Several times, I found myself in tears and felt as if my heart might burst. The scenes of Hayley's accident and Irvel's death, in particular, were truly heart-wrenching.

So far, this is one of my favorite books about the Baxters. It is really well-written and filled with so much meaning. It's refreshing to see a family that you've come to love struggle in so many ways, yet they remain together and their faith grows stronger.

These books bring hope and joy. They demonstrate that even in the darkest of times, God is with us. I've read quite a few romance books, but I haven't been as invested in a love story as I am with Landon and Ashley.

In the past few books, the "will they, won't they" aspect has been a bit much. It's abundantly clear that they love each other unconditionally and are meant to be. If something hadn't given in this book regarding their love, I might have found myself throwing my book across the room. That's how much I've rooted for them.

Truly, this is a great book in a wonderful series about love, family, and faith.

You don't really get a chance to fully feel what is happening before you are whisked away to another character's perspective. This undercuts the emotional effect and makes it harder to become fully invested in the story.

Overall, while there are some great aspects to this series, these flaws prevent it from being truly outstanding.

I am completely and utterly in love with this series! I had initially thought that I would require a break from the Baxter Family, but boy, was I wrong! I most definitely do not need one at all! In fact, I just want more and more of their captivating story. The way Karen Kingsbury weaves the plot and develops the characters is truly phenomenal. Each book in the series draws me in deeper and makes me feel as if I am a part of the Baxter Family's lives. I can't get enough of their joys, sorrows, and the love that binds them together. Thank you, Karen Kingsbury, for creating such an amazing and unforgettable story that has touched my heart and will stay with me for a long time to come.
