I absolutely love how these books all connect to each other.

It's like a beautiful web of stories that intertwine and create a rich tapestry. With each book, I find myself growing more and more attached to the Baxter family.

Their lives are so real and relatable, and I can't help but feel invested in their joys and sorrows.

One of the most amazing things about these books is seeing how God's redemption is at work in each one of the characters' lives.

It's a powerful reminder that no matter how broken or lost we may feel, there is always hope for restoration and new beginnings.

Reading about the Baxter family's journey of faith and transformation has been truly inspiring and has touched my heart in a profound way.

I can't wait to see what other adventures and lessons lie ahead in the remaining books of this series.

Well,

I decided to give this author a try. I managed to finish the fourth book in this series, and that's it for me. I have no desire to read any more of her works.

The stories are pretty much the same, and she is way too verbose. There are just an excessive number of words, which makes the reading experience rather tiresome.

Interestingly, I have a handicapped child. And I have to say, I felt a bit offended by the way she was describing the brain-injured child in the book.

If you have personal experience or knowledge in this area, you'll understand my reaction. But if you don't, I really don't see how you can write about it in an honest and accurate manner.

However, that's just my personal opinion. I know that so many people really like this author, and that's great for them.

As for me, I think it's time to move on and explore other authors and their works.

Great theme - learning to rejoice no matter what.

Bad things are bound to happen to everyone. However, it is within our power to choose our attitudes. For Christians, it is a matter of deciding whether we will seek God in the midst of the bad and find reasons to rejoice or remain trapped in the darkness.

I didn't have a great fondness for reading about Peter's ordeal or a particular scene with Ashley and Landon in his apartment. But aside from those parts, it was an emotional and thought-provokingly good read.

The story managed to touch on various aspects of life, presenting both the joys and the sorrows. It made me reflect on how we often focus on the negative and forget to look for the good.

Despite the few elements that didn't quite appeal to me, the overall message of the book was powerful and inspiring. It taught me that no matter what challenges we face, we can always choose to find joy and hope.

This is a lesson that I will carry with me and try to apply in my own life.

Overall, it was a worthwhile read that left a lasting impression on me.

Brooke and Peter's marriage is in turmoil. Their busy careers, differences in raising children, and competitive nature have led to a breakdown in communication. Adding to their woes is a tragic accident when their 3-year-old daughter, Haley, spends 15 minutes underwater while under Peter's watch. Haley fights for her life, and the Baxter family rallies around in prayer.

Peter is consumed by guilt and distances himself from Brooke and their daughters, turning to dangerous and potentially deadly ways to numb his pain. Meanwhile, Brooke endures the heartbreak of seeing her daughter suffer and learns to find joy and contentment in each day, a testimony to God's teachings.

Amidst this pain, there is a glimmer of happiness as Luke Baxter and Reagan get married. The family travels to New York City to celebrate, and Ashley finds herself face to face with Landon Blake once again. Will she allow love to overcome her fears and the obstacle of her HIV diagnosis?

This book is filled with beautiful moments that I couldn't help but love, despite the heartache it caused. Each major character has a story that is both relatable and inspiring. Brooke and Peter's struggle teaches us about the power of faith and the importance of facing our pain rather than逃避 it. Luke and Reagan's wedding is a celebration of love and hope, and Ashley and Landon's relationship shows us that sometimes, love conquers all.

John and Elizabeth's role as parents is also beautifully portrayed. Their prayers and support for their children are a reminder of the unconditional love that parents have. Overall, this book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good family drama filled with heart, hope, and faith. I can't wait to see what Kingsbury has in store for these characters in the future.

Pro: I have a deep affection for the message that the book conveys. It has such a profound impact on me that I find myself compelled to write down specific Bible verses. These verses serve as precious reminders, guiding me and offering me spiritual nourishment.

Con: On the other hand, I couldn't care less about the constant flashbacks and rememberings. As I have perused each book in the series, the details have remained firmly etched in my memory. I don't require being reminded numerous times within the pages. It gives me the impression that it is merely filler material, rather than something that propels the story forward. I yearn for a more seamless and engaging narrative that doesn't rely so heavily on repetitive elements.

In conclusion, while I appreciate the meaningful message of the book, the excessive use of flashbacks and rememberings detracts from my overall reading experience. I hope that future installments in the series will strike a better balance between imparting the message and maintaining a captivating storyline.

10/10 sad.

This was the hardest book for me to get through in the Baxter family series. The main reason is that there was a serious accident involving a small child right at the beginning.

I truly love Karen and the beautiful, redemptive stories she writes. However, my momma heart might not be able to handle them anymore.

Another good continuation of the Baxter family story.

This one focuses on Brooke and her family. A horrible tragedy befalls them when her youngest, Hayley, is involved in a terrible incident. Peter, Brooke's husband, doesn't handle it well and in fact, his reaction is so extreme that he almost loses his life.

Throughout all of this turmoil, Brooke finds herself growing closer to God. She begins to understand what true joy really is and where it comes from. It's a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth for her.

Meanwhile, the drama between Landon and Ashley still simmers on. Their relationship is full of ups and downs, and readers are left hoping for a good conclusion in the next book. Will they be able to work through their differences and find happiness together? Only time will tell.

The Baxter family's story continues to unfold, filled with love, loss, and the search for meaning and joy in life.

I found this particular book a bit slow in comparison to the first three that I had read.

However, it was still fairly enjoyable overall. The story had its moments that kept my interest piqued.

Unlike the previous ones, it didn't have that captivating power that would make me stay up late each night reading for ages.

I would pick it up during my spare time and read a few chapters here and there.

While it wasn't a page-turner that had me completely hooked, it wasn't a bad read either.

It had its own charm and I was able to get through it without feeling too bored or frustrated.

Perhaps it was just a different style or pacing that didn't quite resonate with me as strongly as the others.

Nevertheless, I'm glad I gave it a chance and will look forward to seeing what else the author has in store.

There is more drama within the Baxter family. However, I truly adored the concept of presenting each of your four loved ones with a favorite Bible verse prior to their wedding.

This not only adds a touch of spiritual significance but also places the emphasis on a godly marriage. It serves as a reminder that in the journey of marriage, relying on the wisdom and guidance from the Bible can be of great value.

The Baxter family's story is filled with various emotions and challenges, but this idea of sharing Bible verses brings a sense of hope and a deeper connection to their faith.

It shows that even in the midst of family drama, there is still room for love, faith, and the pursuit of a marriage that is centered on God.

As we follow the Baxter family's adventures, we can't help but be intrigued by how these Bible verses will impact their relationships and shape their marriages.

It's a beautiful and meaningful addition to their story that makes us reflect on the importance of faith in our own lives and relationships.

GOD is good

As always, this is another truly awesome read. I have always had a great passion for enjoying your books. This particular book serves as a powerful reminder of the magnificence and wonder of the God we worship. No matter how deep we may find ourselves in the lowest valleys of life, we can always be certain that He is right there beside us, ready to be whatever it is that we need in that very moment. Whether it is a source of strength, a provider of comfort, or a guiding light in the darkness, God is always present. Thank you, Karen, for blessing us with these good and clean books to read. It is through your works that we are able to further appreciate the goodness of God. Truly, God Is Good!

I truly relished reading Rejoice, yet another outstanding book penned by Karen Kingsbury.

The story within its pages was so captivating that it held my attention from start to finish.

Kingsbury has a remarkable talent for creating characters that feel real and emotions that are palpable.

As I delved deeper into the narrative, I found myself completely immersed in the world she had crafted.

Now, I am filled with excitement as I anticipate reading the final book in the redemption series.

I can only imagine the conclusion that awaits and the impact it will have on me.

I have no doubt that it will be just as精彩 and moving as the previous installments.

I can't wait to see how the story comes full circle and what lessons and emotions it will bring.

It's going to be an unforgettable reading experience.
