Karen is simply playing with my emotions, and she is extremely adept at it. However, she can also be rather cruel.

My point is that this book or this series may not be the greatest or most outstanding work of literature, and the translation was definitely not among the best. Nevertheless, the way the author was able to convey the characters' feelings and the way she juxtaposed things is truly remarkable. I am extremely curious about how everything will ultimately come together, and I am certain that it will be amazing and not what I anticipated.

And finally, but no less importantly, I wanted to say a few words about the way Karen depicted different characters in their relationship with God. Just like in the "Redemption" series, she presented numerous scenarios and countless possibilities, and the way she managed to emphasize God's purpose and plans for these people is simply astonishing. I particularly love the message in this book, which is one of forgiveness, love instead of hate, and peace instead of chaos.

I truly relish these stories, for they are like a seamless continuum, one flowing into another.

You are constantly on the edge of your seat, never quite certain what lies ahead. In this particular book, I did manage to make a bit of a prediction regarding what Ashley did.

It's a veritable whirlwind of drama, and I find myself completely immersed in it.

I have a great deal of respect for Katy and the actions she took in this book.

Moreover, I'm on tenterhooks, eagerly awaiting to see how the Dayne situation unfolds within the Baxter family.

Certainly, he can't remain a secret indefinitely, can he?

Well, add this to the list of Karen Kingsbury books that have made me cry.

The storylines in the book can sometimes be extremely far-fetched, to the point where they seem completely unbelievable. However, that's precisely what I value about this series.

As a reader, it's enjoyable to let oneself be carried away by an incredible story.

I listened to an audiobook and LOVED IT.

Now, I have this intense desire to listen to all of the Baxter family books on audio. It's truly amazing how these audiobooks can be so uplifting and entertaining, especially when you're driving in the car. You don't have to pay overly close attention, which makes it a perfect companion for those long drives.

This particular audiobook is a great sequel to “Fame”, the first book in the series. I think Karen Kingsbury did an excellent job of developing the main characters, Dane and Katie. The storyline of their relationship growing and changing was really engaging and kept me hooked from start to finish.

I can't wait to experience the rest of the series, whether it's through reading with my eyes or, hopefully, listening with my ears again! It's going to be an exciting journey.
