I truly loved Karen's note in the back of the book regarding forgiveness and peace.

These are such crucial things to be aware of and to always remember.

Certain parts of the story were more challenging to read.

Specifically, the sad incident involving CKT and witnessing Dayne struggle in his life.

Moreover, as some others have pointed out, it can be tiresome to read "Ashley Baxter Blake" repeatedly.

It's quite a mouthful, whether it's pronounced aloud or read silently in one's mind.

After all, we already know who she is.

Additionally, I have the feeling that Karen leans a bit too much towards the PG-13 side with the Dayne/Kelly relationship.

It seems to add an extra layer of complexity that might not be entirely necessary.

Overall, while there are aspects of the book that I enjoyed, there are also some areas that could potentially be improved upon.

In chapter 30, it was a truly heart-wrenching moment that left me crying.

The events that unfolded were so overwhelming and emotional. I found myself completely devastated by what had happened.

The words on the page seemed to leap out at me, cutting deep into my soul.

My eyes welled up with tears, and I couldn't hold them back any longer.

This is yet another AMAZING book by Karen. During this holiday, I didn't manage to read as many books as I had initially planned. However, I am completely dedicated to reading all of your books in order. It's truly a commitment that I am determined to follow through with. Now, I'm really excited to get started on the next book in the series, Found!!! I can't wait to see what adventures and emotions it will bring. Karen Kingsbury has a unique way of captivating her readers and drawing them into the stories. Her characters are so real and relatable, and the plots are always engaging. I'm sure that Found will be just as great as the previous books in the Firstborn Series. I'm looking forward to getting lost in the world that Karen has created once again.

Despite having 5 kids who constantly keep me occupied and it usually taking me forever to read a book, I managed to finish this one in just two days. The story was engaging from start to finish, with interesting characters and a plot that kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself completely immersed in the world that the author had created.

However, despite really enjoying this book, in my personal opinion, it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the first book in this series.

The first book had a certain charm and magic that was perhaps a bit lacking in this installment.
