I truly loved Karen's note in the back of the book regarding forgiveness and peace. These are such crucial things to be aware of and to always remember. Certain parts of the story were more challenging to read. Specifically, the sad incident involving CKT and witnessing Dayne struggle in his life. Moreover, as some others have pointed out, it can be tiresome to read "Ashley Baxter Blake" repeatedly. It's quite a mouthful, whether it's pronounced aloud or read silently in one's mind. After all, we already know who she is. Additionally, I have the feeling that Karen leans a bit too much towards the PG-13 side with the Dayne/Kelly relationship. It seems to add an extra layer of complexity that might not be entirely necessary. Overall, while there are aspects of the book that I enjoyed, there are also some areas that could potentially be improved upon.
