This series is truly remarkable and in fact, it is even better than the original.

This series is even better than the original...

The 4th book of the Firstborn Series holds a special place as it is one of the best in the Baxter saga up until now. Karen Kingsbury has done an outstanding job with this installment. It is a literary masterpiece that touches the heart and soul.

Thank you, Karen Kingsbury! I am currently in a particular season of my life where I really needed this book. It has been a source of great comfort and has brought about a sense of healing within me.

The story is so engaging and well-written that it draws the reader in from the very beginning and keeps them hooked until the end. It explores themes of love, family, and forgiveness in a profound and moving way.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a great read that will leave them feeling uplifted and inspired.

There are several great aspects that occur in this book.

Firstly, Katy and Dayne finally bring an end to the long-running will-they-or-won’t-they storyline that has persisted throughout 4 books. Thank goodness for this much-needed reprieve.

Secondly, the ongoing drama regarding whether Dayne will meet the Baxters is also resolved. Once again, thank goodness. Both of these storylines have been drawn out for far too long, and it is refreshing to see them reach a conclusion.

However, unfortunately, the paparazzi storyline remains very much alive and is as tiresome as ever. Yes, we understand that they are terrible and can cause great harm to people's lives. And yes, we have now read 4 books hinting at a tragic outcome due to the paparazzi stalking. We know it is inevitable.

Here is the question that constantly萦绕 in my mind when reading this series: The author depicts all of the Hollywood women as manipulative and promiscuous, Hollywood itself as a breeding ground for immorality and drug use, and the lives of actors as completely unbearable because of the paparazzi. If this is her perception of Hollywood, why set an entire 5-book series there? I don't think she has written a single positive thing about it. As a reader, I can sense the characters' unhappiness, and I'm not enjoying being immersed in it.

I still have an affinity for the characters, but I'm eagerly anticipating the end of this Firstborn series.

Oh my, that picnic though!

It was truly an unforgettable experience. The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over the entire scene. We spread out a colorful blanket on the soft grass and laid out an array of delicious treats. There were sandwiches filled with fresh meats and cheeses, juicy fruits, and decadent desserts. The gentle breeze blew, carrying the sweet fragrance of the surrounding flowers. We sat there, chatting and laughing, enjoying the company of each other and the beautiful nature around us. As the afternoon wore on, we played some games and took a leisurely walk. By the time the sun started to set, we were filled with a sense of contentment and happiness. That picnic will always hold a special place in my heart, a memory that I will cherish forever.

After reading other reviews regarding FAMILY, and the Firstborn series as a whole, I would say I have to concur with some of the more critical appraisals regarding redundancy, exaggeration, and the rehashing of the same scenes.

However, since I desired to carry on with the series and discover where the Baxter family concludes before transitioning to the Sunrise series, I had to learn to identify the signs of Ms. Kingsbury digressing into a reflective moment and condition myself to skim the extensive authorial or superfluous segments.

Dayne and Katy are the quintessential Romeo and Juliet. Their relationship consists of furtive moments, others keeping them apart, a love so profound it throbs, and the sensation as if life is incomplete without the other. Fortunately, Dayne and Katy do not meet the same fate as their counterparts.

This installment in the series involves a great deal of back and forth between Katy and Dayne. At times, I felt like tearing my hair out due to the fabricated reasons they both continuously devised that would render their relationship too arduous to persist. Nevertheless, the highlights – the courtroom scenes, the times Katy and Dayne are together, and a gratifying ending – are sufficient to maintain the connection of true Kingsbury fans. The series could have been effortlessly wrapped up in three books, but alas, Ms. Kingsbury and Tyndale House Publishers recognize a lucrative opportunity when they have it. And regardless of how repetitive the stories may be, I am still dedicated to finishing the series so that I can progress to the next one.

This book was truly fantastic!

It delved deep into the themes of family and love, exploring the complex relationships and emotions that exist within a family unit. The author's writing was engaging and captivating, making it impossible to put the book down.

From the very first page, I was drawn into the story and invested in the characters. The descriptions were vivid, allowing me to picture the scenes and the people as if they were right in front of me.

The exploration of love was particularly touching. It showed the different forms that love can take, from the unconditional love between parents and children to the romantic love between partners. It also highlighted the importance of communication and understanding in maintaining healthy relationships.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read about family and love. It is a heartwarming and thought-provoking story that will leave you with a greater appreciation for the people in your own life.

This review might not be completely fair.

Once again, I was given this audiobook by someone else, and it happened to be the fourth in the series.

So, I discovered that although I could follow the story quite well, I truly didn't have much emotional investment in the characters.

The plot was a pretty standard romance between a Hollywood movie star and a regular person, along with a trial involving a crazy stalker.

There was also a strong Christian theme, which is surely admirable. However, personally as a Christian, I find it a bit difficult to accept.

As a Christian myself, I don't really receive those personal whispers from God or have scriptures popping into my head whenever I need them.

But perhaps that's more of an indication of my own shortcomings. I'm not sure.

Overall, while the story had its elements, the lack of character investment and the slightly challenging Christian theme made it an average read for me.

Great story

A great story has the power to captivate, inspire, and transport us to different worlds. It can make us laugh, cry, and feel a whole range of emotions. A well-told story has a beginning, middle, and end, with interesting characters and a plot that keeps us engaged from start to finish. It can be a fictional tale or a true account, but regardless of its nature, a great story has the ability to touch our hearts and minds. Whether it's a classic novel, a short story, or a movie, a great story is something that we will remember for a long time. It can teach us valuable lessons, expand our perspectives, and give us a new appreciation for the world around us. So the next time you hear or read a great story, take a moment to savor it and let it have its impact on you.

That was yet another remarkable Book!

In this particular one, Dayne finds himself continuously grappling with conflicting thoughts regarding whether or not to draw the Baxter family into the spotlight. He is deeply reluctant to expose them to such a life, and the same sentiment holds true for Katy.

Throughout the entire book, Dayne and Katy are constantly on the run from the paparazzi, regardless of their location. Their longing to be together is intense, yet they are at a loss as to how to make it a reality.

Dayne's sister, Ashley, desires for him to attend the family gathering and meet the other siblings, as she is the sole one aware of his true identity as their brother. He spends a few days at the beach, seeking solace and praying to God.

Finally, as the book nears its conclusion, Dayne musters the courage to go and see his family and Katy. Their joy upon his arrival is palpable, and Dayne forms an immediate connection with everyone. And then, at the very end of the book, Dayne pops the question to Katy, asking her to marry him, and she joyfully says yes.

What a delightfully happy ending!!

I really like the books. They have interesting plots and engaging characters.

However, there is one thing that gets a bit annoying. That is the style at the end of every chapter. It is always the same.

To the extent that you can almost predict exactly what the last sentence will be before you even read it. This repetition makes it feel a little old and tiresome.

Despite this drawback, I am still enjoying the story. The overall narrative is captivating and keeps me hooked from one chapter to the next.

I just wish the author would vary the chapter endings a bit more to add some新鲜感 and surprise.

Nevertheless, I will continue to read the books and look forward to seeing how the story develops.

This is a continuation of the lives of the Dayne, Katy, and Baxter family.

The long-awaited trial of the woman who attempted to take the lives of Katy and Dayne has finally arrived. Luke, Dayne's brother, is a member of the legal team, yet astonishingly, he remains completely unaware of Dayne's existence.

Everyone around, however, can't help but comment on the striking resemblance between the two brothers.

Ashley, the determined Baxter, eventually manages to uncover the connection between Dayne and the Baxter family.

Throughout this book, another beautiful story of patience, love, and forgiveness unfolds.

The author has once again masterfully crafted a narrative that tugs at the heartstrings and leaves the reader deeply moved.

It is truly a five-star read that will stay with you long after you've turned the last page.

Highly recommended for fans of family dramas and stories that explore the power of love and redemption.
