This is another great part to this series. It truly is such a heartwarming, inspiring and wonderful story. What I love about it is that God is at the center of it all. I find myself sometimes forgetting that everything in life should be centered on God. But when I do remember and make that the focus, life just seems to go so much better. I'm really looking forward to finishing the last book in this series. It has been such a great read so far. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a story that will touch their heart and remind them of the importance of having God in their lives.

Family is the fourth installment in the Baxter's Firstborn Series and the ninth book in the Baxter series.

Katy and Dayne are about to testify in a trial where a deranged fan attempted to kill them on a beach one night. Dayne has gone to great lengths to conceal Katy's identity, but now that the hearing has arrived, they have no choice but to reveal her name. The tabloids go wild, doing everything in their power to obtain pictures of Dayne and Katy together. Although they love each other deeply, they struggle to figure out how to be together with the paparazzi hounding their every step. At one point, Katy and Dayne almost have a car accident while being chased by the paparazzi, and they realize that they must say goodbye to each other. They know that they will never be able to have a normal life with the paparazzi constantly pursuing them. With one last look and a declaration of love, they part ways.

Meanwhile, Ashley is determined to find her older brother who was adopted. She is the only sibling aware of his existence. Ashley repeatedly pressures her father to tell the other siblings. John Baxter initially sits down to write a letter but then decides to make a phone call instead. When he tells them, they are shocked but forgive their parents for keeping the secret for so long. One day, Ashley answers her father's cell phone and hears Dayne Matthews on the other end. Dayne makes up an excuse, but with additional information from Jenny Flanigan, Ashley figures out that Dayne Matthews is their brother. She calls him to confirm and invites him to their 4th of July picnic.

I am truly enjoying the Baxter series. I'm not typically a fan of extremely long book series as I often get distracted by other books. However, this series has managed to hold my attention for ten books now. I love Karen's writing style and eagerly anticipate reading Forever.
