This was an extremely hilarious Stephanie Plum book.

I found myself laughing out loud at numerous parts throughout the story.

It truly astonishes me that Evanovich seems to have an endless supply of material for this remarkable series.

The interactions between Stephanie and Ranger, as well as with Morelli, are simply captivating.

There is never a dull moment when these characters come together.

Their banter, the tense situations they find themselves in, and the chemistry between them all add to the overall charm and entertainment value of the book.

Whether it's Stephanie's crazy adventures while trying to catch a bail jumper or her complicated love triangle, there is always something to keep the reader engaged and thoroughly entertained.

I can't wait to see what other hilarious and exciting stories Evanovich has in store for us in the future installments of the Stephanie Plum series.

The Stephanie Plum series penned by Janet Evanovich is truly remarkable.

It features a cast of fun and engaging characters. The mysteries are exhilarating, filled with crimes that need to be solved and lusts that seem to be ever-present.

Eleven on Top is a great book. However, it doesn't quite make it to my top picks for this series. Nevertheless, the novel is still amazing, and I relished every single minute of reading it.

In this installment, old men go missing, and an old enemy keeps attempting to eliminate Stephanie. She has a hunch about who is behind the threats, but as Morelli and Ranger continuously explain to her, she lacks evidence and is basing her theories on mere "supposedlies."

Stephanie quits her job and endures other career choices. The fragile and intense teamwork between Ranger and Morelli takes an interesting turn when Stephanie accepts an office job with Ranger.

Stephanie is one of my all-time favorite characters. She is hilarious, and closely followed by Lula in the badass department.

Ranger, on the other hand, is my sexy devil. I could just cozy up in his bed and never get enough.

The interactions between Mrs. Plum and Grandma Mazur are also a highlight. If you've read the books in order, you'll appreciate the moment when Mrs. Plum gets drunk and instigates a cake food fight with her mother, pulling in Stephanie and her father.

I highly recommend this book to everyone with a mature mindset. It contains some vague sexual content and interesting semi-mild violent scenes.

~Happy reading!

OK, my laptop wiped out my review TWOCE before I could finish it, which was really frustrating.

Let's try again. The latest fun Plum novel is narrated by Lorelei King. I like both her and C.J. Critt as they have about perfected their characterizations and pacing after so many of these works.

In this one, Stephanie quits Vinnie's Bail Bond business because she's just tired of chasing all those losers. However, her subsequent jobs are short-lived and disastrous, similar to her cars.

Well, she ends up working for Ranger, mostly doing computer work. But she manages to get pulled into some bounty-hunting scenarios, mostly by Lula, who is now an Official Bounty Hunter but has more enthusiasm than judgment.

Both Ranger and Morelli tear their hair out trying to protect Stephanie from herself, and they're also comparing swords, if you know what I mean.

The "mystery" in this book is a series of threatening notes and near-misses. Stephanie surmises it's Stiva the Younger, who was presumably killed in the funeral-home fire in book Two, which was set by Stephanie and Grandma Mazur, so there's some continuity.

The resolution of that mystery was a bit of a surprise to me and of course puts Stephanie in a lot of peril, but I won't give it away as it's too much fun.

We also have Mom the Neurotic, Valerie the Gonna-Get-Married-to-Kloughn, Grandma Mazur going to wakes, and her friendship with several members of Trenton's Finest. In an interview with Ms. King at the end of the work, Ms. Evanovich says she befriended a number of Police Officers in Trenton when doing research for the series and they've remained friends, which is neat.

So, it's a fun read that goes quick as it's somewhat shorter than her previous books. On to "Twelve Sharp!"

NON HO MAI RISO COSI' TANTO (E IN MODO COSI' SGUAGLIATO) COME IN QUESTO ROMANZO!!!

This statement truly reflects the hilarity and absurdity that awaits within the pages of this remarkable romance. Stephanie is at her absolute best here, just as the title promised. Morelli and Ranger, those two captivating characters, are sexier than ever before. And there are so many paradoxical situations that you'll find yourself doubled over with laughter!

Aaaah, è bello tornare a casa da te, Janet! This exclamation adds a touch of warmth and familiarity to the whole experience. It's like coming home to a dear friend. The story is not just about the humorous and romantic escapades but also about the sense of belonging and comfort that Janet provides. It makes you want to keep reading, eager to discover what other comical and heartwarming moments lie ahead.

Stephanie Plum is back once more, yet this time around, she desires a change.

Stephanie has made up her mind that she is done with being a bounty hunter. As she endeavors to discover her new career path, an endless stream of hilarious obstacles presents itself in Stephanie's way.

I had perused the initial ten installments in the series and was in need of a brief respite. They were commencing to seem a little monotonous to me, and I elected to set them aside for a while. One weekend, I was prepared to pick up a book and engage in reading. However, to be honest, I yearned for a book that didn't demand too much mental exertion on my part. Reluctantly, I decided to read number eleven, and lo and behold, my affection for the series has been rejuvenated.

Although I don't object to the antics of Stephanie and Lula, Grandma Mazar, and Morelli, they had begun to feel like repetitions. I adored the premise of this particular installment and even found myself chuckling out loud on several occasions while reading it.

If you are a devotee of the series, do not miss out on this one. Indeed, they are silly, and yes, they don't necessitate a great deal of thought behind them, but that is precisely the sort of book that I desire to read every now and then.

I absolutely love the Stephanie Plum series! It has become one of my all-time favorite book series. I think I've read nearly every single one of these wonderful novels up to number twenty. Each book in the series is filled with excitement, humor, and mystery. Stephanie Plum is such a relatable and entertaining character. Her adventures as a bounty hunter always keep me on the edge of my seat. The author does an amazing job of creating a vivid and engaging world. I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment of the series. I highly recommend the Stephanie Plum series to anyone who loves a good mystery with a touch of humor.

Sorry, I had to drop it.

It might very well be a great book, but unfortunately, I just couldn't get into it at all.

The language that the characters are using, or perhaps the way the male characters are treating the main character (mc), is simply not to my taste.

I just couldn't overlook these aspects.

Nevertheless, it still might be an awesome read for a lot of other people.

I had to stop reading because it was making me feel too uncomfortable.

(The 3 stars are there because I have not finished it, so who really knows? Maybe the story is actually good.)

Overall, it's a pity that I couldn't connect with this book, but everyone has different preferences when it comes to literature.

Perhaps someone else will be able to fully appreciate its merits and enjoy the story to the fullest.

Shake the other ten in a bag, dump out a bit at a time, & you get 11 !!

We hate to say it, as some of the other ten were definitely amusing. However, there's not much smile factor left in Plum et al that we haven't heard or seen before. There is a smidge of a plot. Four small business owners are missing, and Steph keeps getting threatening notes and cars bombed. But one can almost predict the rest. Lulu can't get her bond jumpers, so she eats fast food. Steph shacks up with Morelli (again) but hankers after Ranger all book long. Grandma Mazur and the rest of the clan have a wedding cake food fight. Steph's several cars burn up or blow up. Bob the Dog tinkles on the lawn (wow!).

"Eleven" smacks of one of those books any of us could have written. Just take snippets out of each of the other ten, slap 'em together in almost random order and you wouldn't be far off. There is one rather poignant scene, almost depressing actually. Stephanie spends a (rare) quiet moment thinking (rare!) how useless her life has been. She realizes she's not good at anything, has no hobbies or interests, and has no idea what to do with her love life or her future. She fantasizes she can play the cello, then actually tells her family she can (despite being unable to even recognize one!), which leads to what little fresh hilarity the book has on display.

Maybe Evanovich has just run out of steam with this set. Maybe that explains the attempt to diversify manifested in the largely ho-hum "Metro Girl". Maybe the old joke about 1000 monkeys with typewriters could do just as well is right on. Maybe we're just "Plum" full of this series. Sorry, but from our reading we just didn't get that much entertainment, let alone go out "On Top"!

This particular piece of work is not my favorite.

Right from the start, I found it rather difficult to get engaged in the story.

The plot seems to lack that certain spark or hook that would draw me in and make me eager to know what happens next.

The characters also don't seem to have much depth or complexity, which makes it hard for me to form an emotional connection with them.

As a result, I often find my mind wandering while reading, rather than being fully immersed in the narrative.

Perhaps with some more development and refinement, this story could have the potential to be more engaging and interesting.

But as it stands now, it just doesn't quite do it for me.

Barefoot and Desperate

\\"Janet

OMG! In this Stephanie Plum book, the death toll is shockingly sizeable, and the number of vehicles that take their final roll around the block is simply insane. It seems that nothing is safe from the chaos and mayhem that unfolds. And Grandma Mazur is definitely not going to be pleased with the outcome.

The Plum family truly takes the cake and flings it in this installment. The wedding planning, along with all the associated activities and hijinks, is a wild ride. Oh, dear! It's a comical and chaotic affair that keeps the reader on their toes.

While the story is completely over-the-top, what keeps me coming back are the relationships. It's not just about the on-again, off-again drama with Joe Morelli or the anticipation of whether her chemistry with Ranger will explode once more. There's also the fascinating family dynamics and the crazy adventures she gets into with Lula, and occasionally Connie. And let's not forget Grandma Mazur's unnatural fascination with funerals and viewings. Oh, and of course, there's Bob! The story is entertaining most of the time, filled with humor, action, and unexpected twists.

I received an author's copy of the audio book, and the narrator is again Lorelei King. I'm reserving further comments on her for now. If you're interested, you can see my reviews of the last several books.

Joe Morelli is indeed correct. Stephanie Plum is truly a danger magnet. Even after quitting her job as a bounty hunter, she continues to wreak havoc all over town. Without an income, she desperately needs a new job. However, she manages to go through three different jobs in just three days. She gets fired for being late, shoots up a cleaners, and even burns down the Cluck-a-Bucket.

So, what other option does she have but to work for the hot and extraordinary bounty hunter, Ranger? She thinks she'll have a nice, safe desk job. But that still doesn't prevent her from getting into trouble (or away from Morelli and Ranger). As an added bonus, Steph gives up sweets and turns into a sex-crazed maniac. This brings both glee and soon dismay to her two would-be suitors. It's one of my favorites of the series!

And my favorite part is when Stephanie comes back and Morelli is asleep with his head on the table. She puts a mug of coffee in front of him, and he opens one eye. She tells him he has to open both eyes because he's going to work today and Laski is picking him up in five minutes. Morelli protests, saying he only has five minutes to sleep. Stephanie insists he drink some coffee and get some legal stimulants into his system. She dances in front of him, showing off her gun and short shirt. She asks if he's going to let her go to work like that. Morelli replies that if she looks slutty enough, maybe Ranger will take up some of the slack in the bedroom before she makes a permanent cripple out of him. He even suggests she wear a shirt with a neckline that lets her boobs hang out. He then asks why she isn't tired. Stephanie says she doesn't know and feels all energized. She thought she couldn't keep up with him, but maybe he's been slowing her down all these years. Morelli begs her to eat some doughnuts because he can't keep going like this. It's truly a classic moment!
