The story is pretty good in this one and features a good amount of back story. I appreciated it a lot.

Me está encantando pese a lo triste qué ha pintado en las historias de los personajes peeeeero sin duda esta llenando de espectativas el avance y además estoy amando más a este par de hermanos, me roban risas y quiero cuidarlos, me gusta el escenario qué se plantea

“You’re not a nobody. I think being so passionate about something is a talent in itself.”

Wow. Just, wow.

Arakawa isn't pulling any punches, is she? Because that revelation was huge and so incredibly disturbing and creepy and it makes everything about a thousand times more complicated. Which is fun to me, the reader, but not really for the characters.

First, let's just say that Al and Ed's backstory is rather sad and it really highlights the love these brothers have for each other. Which, at the end of the day, I think is one of the strongest points of this whole story. I love it, of course, but it does make my heart ache fiercely.

I like the nice combination of action, humor, and deep thought and emotion that we have going on here. None of them over-powers the other and nothing feels forced or too over the top, quite a fit all things considered, but they all interact naturally and at the right moment.

The philosophical bits we tackle now are... honestly, they make my head hurt a little because I get it but I'm not sure I would feel quite so strongly to a point. It's fun to get to disagree a little with it and consider my own opinions over the matters being discussed, mostly because I had never once before considered them.

So many things are happening and I cannot see how they quite connect at the moment. I don't even have any theories - which is a first - because I am majorly confused. Fascinated beyond belied, sire, but confused nonetheless.

If the trend continues and the philosophical bits continue entertaining with the plot and the more practical parts is gonna be an amazing ride. I'm already really enjoying it a lot and it's only the beginning.

“Strong, huh? I’ve seen that strength. It was there four years ago when he sacrificed his own arm to transmute his brother’s soul… when he decided to become a dog of the military at such a young age… and when he endured the auto-mail surgery that would make even an adult howl in pain. I wondered where in that little body all that strength was coming from. And because he’s so strong, I worry that when he finally does find an obstacle he can’t overcome, will he be able to get back on his feet?”

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I'm done with this one. And I'm having such a blast reading this manga.

Seriously, I just love it all to pieces.

This is literally all I really want to read so I'm caving in and continuing with it.

The cover alone makes me really excited to see what all of them are gonna get mixed up with... though I have a few ideas already about it.

I'm pretty sure I'll better prepare the feel well if I want to survive this one. Though, yet again, I'm not 100% sure... I'll rather be prepared.

I don't really have much to say here that wouldn't be repetitious, so I'll spare you. Cliff notes: love Winry, and Pinako is the unsung hero of this story, truly.

This continues to have a fascinating storyline, and I really am enjoying the characters! There are some moments that feel overly violent, though. I'm hoping that won't be a frequent issue...

What an excellent thrilling ride this is so far, been captivated pretty much from chapter one and this incredible piece of manga really has a strong hold on me at this point. the characters are great and funny, and the story is intriguing with lots of delightful humour and tense action scenes sprinkled with existentialism and big questions. Love love love it
The side story at the end was priceless and a needed breather after that intense cliffhanger

Another great volume from this series. Once again it’s so interesting to see how the manga’s are adapted. I am still finding that AL has more oaf a backbone in the books and it’s something I wish they added more in the adaptation because in the Manga he comes across as much more of a threat.

I do like seeing what they changed and things that were skipped over. There are a few characters that we got to see Roy interact with in the Manga that weren’t in the show.

I’m interested to see how some of the problems that were introduced in this volume progress later down the line.
