Well I don't technically read the book, per se. I watched the cartoon one, but that's just basically a tad bit same, right? (I hope). So I'm not going to say it's a bad book or a boring one, it's somewhat terrific, but I just find it bias. I mean, I can't help but think that the only reason this book made it big is because she's an Iranian national, she's not happy living in Iran, she's a rebel against what happened in Iran and now she made a graphic novel about it, one that is somehow is so huge in the western world. It's not like she had it bad living in Iran, not like other women living in another fucked up place living a fucked up life and wrote a book about it. I get her sorrow, passion and whatnot, but I just wouldn't recommend this book and I don't think I quite enjoy the book. But, hey, to each their own.
