classic book; I've read it several times

I read many years ago . . . and I loved it just as much as I did the first time around. Some things just scream or an encore performance, don't they? Fannie creates the most fabulous characters and they can read their lines with great pizzazz!


I put up the wrong book cover . . . but, I cannot change it to only Fried Green Tomatoes. I haven't read Welcome to the World, Baby Girl! (I do have it on my bedside table in my to read pile!!

read this book years ago and LOVED it, hence, i've read all of her other books over the years.

This was one of my favorite movies until I read the book. Will never see the movie the same again. Did not like the stereotyping. Was not written as well as the movie. Won't reveal a spoiler alert, but didn't like the way the book portrayed "best friends" from the movie version.
