Burgess made a very good point: Future of Britain as described in "1984" "Won't be like that at all"
He proved his point in essays which make first part of this book.
Second part is Burgess' own vision, "1985" which is lot closer to British reality of 1970s or even today's of mid 2020s.
80% Islamisation of Britain achieved through foreign ownership of property.
Growing power of trade unions who often withdraw their labour (how British (!))
Growing resistance movement against the system of trade unions financed by the Arabs (another good point)
I would say: 20% of "1984" might come true and 60% of "1985"
Either way: I don't think future will be as bad as described in both books
